Machine for winding an electrical machine member The present invention relates to a machine for winding an electric machine member, for example a motor armature.
In machines of this kind used until now, when one wants to wind an armature with notches, the latter is clamped between two grif fes carried respectively by a tailstock and a tailstock, the latter being capable of sliding. along a bench.
The aforementioned claws rotate around an axis perpendicular to that of the rotor and drive the latter, the notches of which thus receive the electric wire coming from a reel.
Machines of this type, however, have several drawbacks. First, their cost price is burdened by the fact that they include a tailstock provided with adjustment members and capable of sliding on a sliding bench.
Secondly, the need to maneuver the tailstock either to rotate the rotor around its axis after winding a pair of notches, or to substitute an unwound rotor for a finished rotor, increases the life of the rotor. winding of each rotor.
The present invention avoids all these drawbacks by eliminating the tailstock and its accessory members.
The winding machine according to the invention is charac terized in that the drive headstock is provided with a device making it possible to hold the member to be wound up against the headstock by magnetic attraction.
The accompanying drawings show, by way of example, two embodiments of the subject of the invention. Fig. 1 is an axial section of a first embodiment. Fig. 2 is a corresponding front view. Fig. 3 is a side elevational view of the fixing device, after winding a pair of notches. Fig. 4 schematically shows another embodiment comprising an electromagnet.
In the embodiment of FIGS. 1 to 3, the device for securing the winding rotor 1 on the headstock 2 of the winding machine comprises a base 3 on which is fixed by a bolt 4 a permanent magnet 5 with strong magnetization. The front surface 6 of the magnet 5 is cylindrical and its diameter corresponds to that of the rotor 1.
. On the base 3 are mounted two magnetic metal frames 7 also terminated by cylindrical surfaces 8 capable of being applied to the rotor 1. The frames 7 carry shields 9 which serve as a guide for the wire 12 coming from a non-reel. shown and which is intended to fill the notches 11 of rotor 1.
This assembly, which can rotate around the axis AB, is completed by a mechanism capable of rotating the rotor 1 around its axis, by an angle corresponding to the value of the pitch of the notches. This mechanism comprises two integral rods 13 and each carrying a tooth 14. These rods are respectively mounted on two operating levers 15 and each provided with a return spring 16 which tends to apply them to the rotor 1. Operation is The next one The rotor 1 is brought against the surface 6 of the magnet 5. It is held strongly applied against the latter thanks to the attraction developed by this magnet, the magnetic flux emitted closing by the armatures 7.
The doll 2 being rotated, the wire 12, guided by the shields 9 (fig. 1), descends into the pair of notches 11 a and 11 b located directly above these shields, following a process known in itself. When the winding of the pair of notches 1 I a 11 b is finished, it suffices to lower the lever 15 in the direction of the arrow f until the claws 14 come into the notch llc (fig. 3 ).
By raising the levers 15 in the direction of the arrow g, the rotor 1 is rotated in the direction of the arrow h until the notches 11d and 11e have come directly into line with the shields 9. The then start the headstock 2. This cycle of operations is repeated until the whole rotor 1 is wound.
The maneuvering of the lever 15 is very fast and can be carried out without any particular precaution and without requiring a significant effort, because the rotor 1 must only slide along the surfaces 6 and 8. The duration of stopping of the tailstock 2 which between the winding of two pairs of successive slots is therefore very small.
In the variant of FIG. 4 intended for fixing larger rotors, the magnetic flux through the core 5 is provided by an excitation winding 21. One of the terminals of this winding is connected by a conductor 22 to an insulated ring 23 on which rubs a brush 24 connected by a contactor 25 to one of the poles of a direct current source 26. The circuit is closed by ground.
Under these conditions, to eliminate the attraction exerted by the core 5 of the electromagnet, it suffices to open the contactor 25 and the rotor disengages immediately.
The device described therefore makes it possible to produce winding machines with a simplified structure and better efficiency. The surface 6 of the pole piece 5 can be adapted to the profile of the member to be wound which is not necessarily constituted by a rotor of the rotating machine.
