Spritzgiessmaschine
Injection molding machine
The invention relates to an injection molding machine, provided with a preferably hydraulic pressure mechanism for pressing the molded parts against each other, with one molded part being displaceable with respect to the other and the pressure mechanism acting on the one hand on the displaceable molded part and, on the other hand, on coupling rods carried by the other molded part, interposed of coupling organs which cause the coupling or decoupling between the pressure mechanism and the other molded part when the molded parts are closed or opened. Such a machine is known from American patent specification No. 2526918.
Compared to an injection molding machine with non-uncoupling coupling rods between the molded parts and the pressure mechanism, as is known for example from German Patent No. 493855, it has the advantage that when the molded parts are in the open position, the space between the molded parts is better accessible for the purpose of the solution the moldings and the replacement of the moldings is achieved. The known machine, however, has the disadvantage that the coupling elements are exposed to a high load during the coupling due to the pressure mechanism, which gives rise to greater wear. Such wear and tear is inadmissible in view of the required accuracy of the work in injection molding machines. The invention aims at an injection molding machine which is improved in this respect.
The injection molding machine according to the invention is characterized in that the coupling members are driven by separate drive mechanisms during the coupling or decoupling between the pressure mechanism and the other molded part. Because the functions of coupling the molded parts through the coupling rods on the one hand and pressing the molded parts against one another on the other hand are assigned to different mechanisms, it is possible to first bring about the coupling completely in the unloaded position of the coupling elements and only then to bring the molded parts through the pressure mechanism under high pressure of injection molding against each other.
In this way, a machine is obtained whose coupling elements show no wear even after long use, in contrast to what is the case with the above-mentioned known injection molding machine with detachable coupling rods.
The invention is explained in more detail using an exemplary embodiment illustrated in the drawing.
FIGS. 1 to 6 show the parts essential for the injection molding machine according to the invention in different positions occurring during operation, which will be discussed in more detail below.
In the drawing, 10 is the fixed and 11 is the slidable molded part, between which molded parts the molding is injected with the molded parts in the pressed position. The injection mechanism, which is not essential to the present invention and is carried out in a known manner, is not illustrated in the drawing. It contains a device for melting the material to be sprayed, e.g. B. a plastic or a metal with a low melting point and a device for sub-high pressure bringing the molten material, which is connected to the supply channel after the casting space between the mold parts. The injection mechanism can be connected to the fixed part 7 of the machine which carries the mold part 10.
The molded part 11 is supported by a block 4 which can be displaced relative to the base plate of the machine and which carries the coupling rods 5 which can be displaced relative to the aforementioned block. At the free ends, the coupling rods have coupling claws 6 which engage coupling sleeves 8 which are rotatable with respect to part 7. With the help of a worm gear 9, the coupling sleeves 8 can be rotated in such a way that they can pass through the coupling claws 6 of the coupling rods 5, after which these claws can be locked in the opposite direction by rotating the sleeve 8 with the help of the worm gear 9.
The block 4, together with the coupling rods 5 and the molded part 11, can be moved back and forth as a whole over a large distance with the aid of a double-acting hydraulic cylinder 1, of which the piston 12 is firmly connected to the block 4. Each coupling rod is connected to a concentric sleeve 2, which cooperates with a sleeve 3 which is fixedly connected to the block 4 and also mounted concentrically on the coupling rod 5. For the purpose of the correct setting, each sleeve 2 can be attached with screw thread on the corresponding coupling rod 5 and after effecting the correct setting, e.g. B. with a lock nut 15, are secured. The sleeves 2 and 3 delimit a hydraulic working space 13 for pressing the molded parts and a hydraulic working space 14 for initiating the opening of the molded parts.
In Fig. 1 the machine is shown in the open position. The mold parts 10 and 11 are completely separated and the space between the mold parts is easily accessible.
In Fig. 2 the position of the machine is drawn after pressure medium has been supplied to the left side of the piston in the cylinder 1 to close the mold parts 10, 11. The claws 6 of the coupling rods 5 have passed the claws of the sleeves 8.
In FIG. 3, the claws are rotated with the aid of the worm gear 9 in such a way that the coupling mechanism 6, 8 is brought into the coupled position.
At the same time, the sleeves 2 and 3 are moved with respect to each other, whereby the working chambers 13 are filled with liquid.
Fig. 4 shows the position during the injection of the molding. The chambers 13 move under high pressure, so that the molded parts 10 and 11 are held together under high pressure.
Fig. 5 shows the situation during the initiation of the opening of the mold parts 10, 11, wherein the working spaces 14 are brought under pressure. It is noted that the prints in the various working spaces 13 in the position indicated in FIG. 4 can be selected differently with regard to the shape of the molding and its position in relation to the molded parts 10, 11. In that shown in FIG Position, i.e. with a small slot between the molded parts 10, 11, the worm drive is reattached to uncouple the coupling mechanism by rotating the coupling sleeves 8. Then, as shown in FIG. 6, pressure medium is admitted into the cylinder 1 on the right side of the piston, whereby the block 4 with the associated parts is returned to the starting position of FIG. The molding is now removed from the machine.
In this position it is also possible to swap the molded parts 10, 11.
