Crampons for climbing all kinds of masts The well-known crampons for climbing overhead line masts are mainly suitable for wooden masts and are not adjustable, so that they can hardly be used for profile constructions with a strongly tapering cross-section, but they no longer guarantee the required safety .
The present invention relates to a crampon with foot buckle part, enclosing part with support and with counter support, which differs from the known crampons of this type in that the distance between the contact surface of the support of the enclosing part and that of the counter support can be changed such that the crampon can be fitted to the structure of the latter while climbing the mast.
Thanks to the ability to adjust the clamping distance to the diameter of the profile of the mast, which decreases sharply with increasing height, while climbing the same, greater security of holding the crampons on the mast is achieved, which is particularly important when carrying out longer work on the mast.
The crampon according to the invention is suitable for climbing round profile masts made of iron, concrete, wood, etc. as well as masts and iron constructions made of angle, T, H and U profiles.
In the drawing, for example, Ausfüh approximate forms of the subject matter of the invention are shown, namely: Fig. 1 shows a first embodiment of the climbing iron for climbing iron structures and masts made of angle, T, H and U profiles with part cut through the adjustable counter support , Fig. 2 is a plan of Fig. 1, Fig. 3 is a second embodiment of the climbing iron for climbing iron structures and masts made of any profiles, except round profiles, with a partial section through the adjustable counter support, Fig. 4 is a plan of Fig. 3,
Fig. 5 shows a third embodiment of the crampon for climbing iron structures and masts made of any profile, except round profiles, Fig. 6 shows a floor plan to Fig. 5 with a part cut through the support on the surrounding part, Fig. 7 a fourth embodiment of the climbing iron for Climbing round poles made of iron, concrete, wood, etc.
with adjustable enclosing part and exchangeable counter support, FIG. 8 a floor plan for FIG. 7, FIG. 9 a fifth embodiment of the crampon for climbing round masts made of iron, concrete, wood, etc.
with adjustable counter support, FIG. 10 a floor plan for FIG. 9, FIG. 11 a sixth embodiment of the climbing iron with a scissor-like adjustable surrounding part, also for climbing round profile masts, FIG. 12 a floor plan for FIG. 11, FIG. 13 a seventh embodiment of the climbing iron with scissor-like adjustable enclosing part for climbing round profile masts and FIG. 14 shows a floor plan for FIG. 13.
The first embodiment shown in Fig. 1 and 2 form of the crampon for climbing Eisenkon structures and masts from any profiles, taken from round profiles, has a short foot buckle plate 1, which is to be buckled in the joint of the foot on this. The foot buckle plate is provided on both sides with a jaw 2 with straps, not shown in the drawing, for buckling the crampon on the foot.
At the rear of the foot buckle plate 1 (in the case shown for the left foot) there is an inwardly protruding, that is to say protruding towards the other (right) foot, the surrounding part 3, the free end part 3 'of which is bent forward at a right angle and as a support an easily exchangeable jaw 4 made of bronze, copper, rubber, etc., which is secured against rotation. On the underside of the plate 1 is in a transverse to the longitudinal direction Füh tion 5 a counter support 6 in its distance from the jaw 4 adjustable and lockable out.
For Ver setting and determination is used in a parallel to Füh tion 5 threaded hole 8 of the counter support 6 engaging threaded spindle 9, which is rotatably mounted in a fixed bearing part 10 of the guide 5 and secured against axial displacement. The Ge counter support 6 is also provided with an exchangeable jaw 7, which can be made of the same material as the jaw 4.
As can be seen from FIG. 1, the jaw 4 of the enclosing part 3 is slightly higher than the jaw 7 of the counter support 6, so that the jaws 4, 7 on the profile M still have a very high clamping effect when the foot fastening plate 1 is loaded becomes. When the material thickness of the profile M changes, the foot buckle plate 1 can always be set in a horizontal position by adjusting the threaded spindle 9 while the mast is climbing. The distance between the contact surface of the support 4 and that of the counter support 7 is changed.
In the second embodiment according to FIGS. 3 and 4, the crampon has a foot strap plate 1 designed to accommodate the entire foot. In contrast to the first embodiment, the enclosing part 3 and the counter support 6 are arranged on the foot buckling plate 1 in such a way that the clamping surfaces of the jaws 4 and 7 run transversely to the longitudinal direction of the foot buckling plate 1. According to its length, the foot buckle plate 1 has two jaws 2 on both sides with slots for attaching the harness for buckling the crampon to the foot.
The parts which correspond to or fulfill the same purpose as parts of the first embodiment are provided with the same reference symbols. The operation is the same as that of the first embodiment.
The third embodiment of the crampon according to FIGS. 5 and 6, like the first embodiment, only has a short foot buckling plate 1 with jaws 2 for the straps for buckling the climbing iron. The enclosing part 3 carries on its part 3 'parallel to the longitudinal axis of the foot buckle plate 1 as a support an eccentric jaw 4 which is rotatably mounted on the part 3' as an axis.
Furthermore, a locking sleeve 11 is axially displaceable on the axis 3 'and is secured against rotation by wedges 12, which on its end face lying on the jaw 4 engages with a locking toothing 13 in a counter toothing 14 of the jaw 4. The locking sleeve 11 is held in engagement with the jaw 4 by a compression spring 15. Opposite the jaw 4, the opposing jaw 7 is exchangeably arranged on a fixed part 6 of the foot fastening plate 1 as a counter support. In the case shown, the distance between the jaws 4 and 7 is set to its smallest value. By rotating the jaw 4 in the direction of the arrow drawn on it by 180 degrees, the jaw distance reaches its greatest value.
Handling and action of the crampon are again the same as in the first embodiment.
The crampon shown as the fourth embodiment in Fig. 7 and 8, in turn, has a whole foot receiving and correspondingly long foot buckle plate 1 with the jaws 2 for the attachment of a strap, not shown, to buckle the crampon. The illustrated foot buckle plate is intended for the right foot and carries at its front end a two-part, 3, 3 'existing enclosing part, which expands accordingly to enable attack on round masts.
Part 3 is firmly connected to the foot strap and runs transversely to the longitudinal axis of the latter. Part 3 'runs at right angles to part 3 and can be displaced longitudinally on part 3 by means of a sleeve-shaped guide part 16 and is secured against rotation. For this purpose, the part 3 hexagonal profile and the Füh tion part 16 has a corresponding hexagonal hole. On the part 3 'of the enclosing part, the jaw 4 is replaceable and secured against rotation ge superimposed.
Opposite it is the counter-jaw 7, which is inserted in a counter-support 6 attached to the underside of the plate 1 and can be easily replaced. The fixing of the adjustable part 3 ′ at the desired distance from the counter jaw 7 is made possible by a pawl 17 arranged on the guide part 16 on the one hand and by notch holes 18 provided on the part 3. The pawl is held in engagement with the desired detent hole 18 by a spring (not visible). By pressing the pawl 17, the adjustment of the clamping distance to the diameter of the mast to be climbed is possible at any time.
The fifth embodiment of the crampon shown in FIGS. 9 and 10 is again the same as the previous embodiment with respect to the foot buckle plate 1, 2 and the counter support 6, 7. The enclosing part 3 carries on its nem the counter support 6, 7 parallel opposite the part 3 ', the replaceable jaw 4. The part 3' consists of an angularly bent hexagonal tube.
The leg of part 3 'running at right angles to the longitudinal axis of the foot buckling plate 1 is guided in a hexagonal tube 3 ″ fixedly arranged at the front end of the foot buckling plate 1 so that it is longitudinally displaceable and secured against rotation.
To determine the respective extended position of the parts 3 ', 3 "is a threaded sleeve connection 19, 20, the further sleeve 19 coaxial to the hexagonal sleeve 3" firmly verbun with the foot buckle plate 1, while the narrower sleeve 20 is connected by an in the part 3 'arranged transverse pin 21 and an inwardly directed flange 22 of the sleeve 20, wel che the transverse pin 21 overlaps, on the part 3' rotatable, but secured against axial displacement with respect to the sem.
The sleeve 19 is provided with an internal thread 23, while the sleeve 20 has a collar 24 provided with an external thread at its inner end and can be screwed to this in the sleeve 19. In this way, by turning in one sense or the other, the clamping distance between the parts 4, 7 can be made larger or smaller.
The crampon according to the sixth embodiment in Fig. 11 and 12 is again the same with regard to the parts 1, 2 and 6, 7 as the previous embodiment. The enclosing part 3 consists of two scissors-like parts 3 'and 3 "connected to one another by a hinge pin 25. The part 3" is firmly connected to the front end of the foot fastening plate 1 by a screw connection 26, while the part 3' is connected to the pivot point 25 of part 3 "is pivotable and lockable. Part 3 'forms an angular part, the part of which, parallel to the axis of the foot buckle plate, carries the replaceable jaw 4.
To adjust and determine the scissors-like verbun which parts 3 'and 3 "is a left and right-hand thread and in the middle with adjusting wheel 28 provided threaded spindle 27, which with its one threaded part in a on part 3' rotatably mounted nut 29 and with its other threaded part engages in a nut 30 mounted rotatably on part 3 ". By turning the threaded spindle 27 in one or the other direction of rotation, the distance between tween the parts 4 and 7 can be adjusted to match the mast to be climbed.
The seventh embodiment according to FIGS. 13 and 14 corresponds in principle to the previous embodiment, the only difference being that the pivotable part 3 'of the scissors-like adjustable enclosing part can be pivoted in a plane approximately parallel to the foot buckle plate 1, while the previous embodiment, the pivot plane of the scissors part 3 'intersects the foot buckle plate 1 at right angles. In both embodiments, the parts corresponding to one another are therefore provided with matching reference numerals.
