Mine thrower The present invention relates to a mine thrower according to the claim of the main patent, according to which the base plate of the mine thrower is connected to a vehicle via a lifting and lowering device, with which the push-pull props are also connected.
According to the invention, the mine thrower is characterized in that the base plate with the pipe hinged to it is arranged in the rear part of the vehicle so that it can be lowered and that the lifting and lowering device has pulling elements deflected by rollers attached to the vehicle and a drive device for the pulling elements.
In the accompanying drawing, an exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is shown schematically, namely: FIG. 1 shows a longitudinal section of a self-propelled mortar, FIG. 2 shows a floor plan of the same, FIG. 3 shows a view from behind in the firing position and FIG. 4 shows part of the self-propelled mortar in firing position.
The rectangular base plate 1 reinforced with ribs 2 is connected via two cables 3, 3a to two horizontal cylinders 4 with hydraulically operated pistons arranged in the vehicle. The ropes are deflected via rollers attached to the vehicle and allow the base plate at the rear end of the vehicle to be held either in the raised position shown in FIG. 1 or to be lowered to the ground, as shown in FIGS. 3 and 4. A single pulley 4 'and a double pulley 4 "are attached to the vehicle for each rope. A further double pulley 4"' is attached to the end of the piston rod, which can be displaced back and forth in the cylinder 4 by means of said piston.
The ropes are guided around the pulleys in the manner of a pulley block, so that a certain displacement of the pulley 4 '' 'causes twice the displacement of the two rope ends and thus of the base plate 1. A relatively short cylinder can be sufficient, even when closing on soft ground, the base plate is pressed into the ground, for example, up to 50 cm or more, as can be seen from FIG. 4.
Instead of ropes 3, 3a, chains or other pulling elements could also be used.
The ends of the two push-pull props 5 of the tube 6 are adjustable in guides 7 on the vehicle. The tube is connected to the base plate 1 by means of a ball joint 8.
The vehicle superstructure is designed as a self-supporting armored hull 9, the rear wall of which protrudes to the rear with a horizontal edge 10 formed by two intersecting surfaces. A part 11 of this rear wall can be folded down. This part 11 has an opening 12 (see FIG. 2) through which the pipe protrudes in the firing position, while a platform 13 for operating personnel is formed by the foldable part next to this opening (see FIG. 4). In this position, the part 11 is attached with its bent upper edge 14 to a bracket 15 welded to the armored hull 9.
Since the base plate 1 is larger than the opening 12, when the base plate is lifted, the part 11 is carried along until the base plate 1 and the part 11 come into the position shown in FIG. When the base plate 1 is lowered, the part 11 also lowers due to its own weight, in which case it then remains attached to the bracket 15.
A motor 18 is accommodated in the armored hull 9, which acts either on two or on all four wheels 17 via a transmission. Furthermore is

There is enough space in the vehicle for the operating team and material. Thanks to the self-supporting construction of the vehicle superstructure, this mine thrower is also comparatively light and good off-road capabilities.
The driver's seat 19 is adjustable in height. In the elevated position, the Führer is able to look over the upper edge of the armored hull. In the lower position, the driver's head is completely below the upper edge of the armored hull, and a periscope 20 is used for driving in this position.
