Mast for antennas and mounting purposes The present invention relates to a mast for antennas and mounting purposes.
Antennas and assembly masts are often required to be set up in the shortest possible time and just as quickly dismantled. One way to meet this requirement is to build the masts from individual components. The previously known designs of this type, for example telescopic or folding masts, have the disadvantage that the individual mast sections are locally bound to the entire machine and therefore the mast sections cannot be separated from the erection device. Furthermore, the individual mast sections cannot be interchanged or interchanged with one another, and if only a small height is required for telescopic masts, all mast sections would still have to be used.
The present invention aims to overcome these disadvantages. It consists in the fact that the mast has resilient rollers at its lower end in its longitudinal direction for driving in an upright position and that each mast piece is provided with adjustable plug-in fasteners for connection to other mast pieces at both ends.
In the accompanying drawing, an example embodiment of the subject invention is illustrated ver. It shows: Fig. 1 a movable mast piece in the upright position, Fig. 2 a section along line 1-I in Fig. 1, Fig. 3 the connecting parts on the lower part of the mast pieces in longitudinal section, Fig. 4 the counterparts of the closure parts on upper part of the mast sections,
Fig. 5 shows a longitudinal section through the plugged together upper and lower closure parts and Fig. 6 shows two mast pieces according to Fig. 1 when they are plugged together, Fig. 7 shows a section along line II-II in Fig. 5. Fig. 1 shows the mobile mast piece 1 with three angular cross-section. At its lower end resilient castors 2 are attached in the longitudinal direction of the mast piece in order to drive the mast piece in the right position to the assembly point.
To connect the individual mast pieces, the lower ends, the columns 1 with a thread 1 a and the upper ends with a thread 1 b. On the lower thread la sits a threaded sleeve 4, which is provided with a cross pin 5 for turning the same. The lower thread 4a of the Ge threaded sleeve 4 is smaller in diameter and provided with two longitudinal recesses 4b, through which the thread is divided into two sectors (Figure 7). A threaded piece 7 with an internal thread 7a is screwed onto the upper thread 1b of the columns 1 and secured against turning with a screw 9. The threaded piece 7 also has an external thread 7b and a threaded pin 7c.
The thread pin 7c is also provided with two recesses 7d, which engage over the thread sectors 4a, which are between the recesses 4b. So that the threads of the pin 7c in the threads 4a of the sleeve 4 when turning the same einrei fen, a nut 10 with adjusting screw 11 is arranged on the thread 7b, which has a centering 10a, which fits into the recess 4c of the connec tion sleeve 4.
The assembly of the mast sections is carried out as follows: The first mast section is raised by means of a crane or an elevator and held in place by unspecified supports 13 at such a height that the bolt 7c of the second mast section being approached is higher than the distance a lower end of the threaded sleeve 4 of the raised mast piece (Fig. 6).
By pressing down the mast section by hand or with suitable tools and moving the mast section sideways, the bolts 7c get under the holes in the sleeves 4 and, when you let go of the mast section, which is now lifted by the springs 3, slide into the sleeves 4 inside. The sleeves 4 are now rotated by approximately 90, the thread sectors of the sleeve and of the threaded pin 7 interlocking like a bayonet lock. As a result, with a quarter turn of one part of the plug-in closures that have been set, the columns 1 are firmly screwed together.
After all three columns of the two mast sections are connected to each other, the two interconnected mast sections are raised and a further mast section is attached in the same way until the mast has reached the desired height. This embodiment of the individual mast sections makes it possible to assemble masts of any height according to the modular principle with the help of a crane or other lifting device, without these lifting means having to remain connected to the erected mast. The individual mast sections are all the same, so that they are interchangeable with each other.
The individual mast sections can also be joined and screwed together horizontally on the ground, whereupon the assembled mast is erected.
