Fermoir <B>extensible de bracelet</B> La présente invention a pour objet un fer moir extensible de bracelet.
Les figures du dessin représentent, à titre d'exemple, une forme d'exécution du fermoir extensible objet de l'invention.

Le fermoir extensible représenté comprend une glissière 1 et un coulisseau 2, liés élasti- quement l'un à l'autre par l'intermédiaire d'un ressort 3 et d'un té de guidage 4. La glissière 1 présente des pans longitudinaux la et un bord relevé transversal lb servant d'appui à la traverse du té de guidage 4. Le coulisseau 2 comprend deux jambages recourbés en U, res pectivement<I>2a</I> et<I>2b.</I> Le jambage<I>2a,</I> placé entre les pans longitudinaux la de la glissière 1, a les bords repliés vers l'intérieur pour for mer avec le fond de la glissière 1 et le bord relevé 1b de cette dernière un compartiment. Dans ce compartiment sont logés le ressort 3 et le té de guidage 4.
Le ressort 3 s'appuie, d'un côté, sur le bord transversal replié du jambage 2a du coulisseau et, de l'autre côté, sur la traverse du té de guidage 4. Le jambage 2b du coulisseau 2 s'applique à plat extérieu rement contre le fond de la glissière 1, en vue d'assurer la liaison entre la glissière 1 et le jambage 2a de ce même coulisseau, en toute position.
En maintenant fixe la glissière 1 et en ti rant le coulisseau 2 vers l'extérieur, le té de guidage 4 reste fixe en butant sur le rebord transversal lb de la glissière. En même temps, le ressort 3 est comprimé par le déplacement du bord transversal replié du jambage 2a du coulisseau et le longeron du té de guidage 4 émerge d'une entaille dudit bord replié. En relâchant le coulisseau, il reprend sa position primitive par la détente du ressort 3. Au cours de cette extension, le coulisseau 2 est cons tamment guidé bilatéralement par les pans 1a de la glissière et, dans la partie médiane, par le té de guidage 4.
A l'une des extrémités de la glissière 1 est découpée dans la masse un double pivot, servant d'axe à l'articulation du couvercle 5, lequel se ferme sur le coulisseau 2, en péné trant par une languette 6, dans une fenêtre longitudinale 7 et en appuyant sur le dos de la traverse du té de guidage 4. Ce dos est acces sible par une entaille médiane pratiquée dans le bord relevé 1b de la glissière 1 et est ex posé constamment à la pression du ressort 3. Lorsque le coulisseau 2 est tiré vers l'exté rieur, sa fenêtre longitudinale 7 se déplace, alors que la languette 6 du couvercle est re tenue par le té de guidage 4.
L'extrémité de la glissière sur laquelle est articulé le couvercle 5 est conformée de ma nière à recevoir, à couvercle ouvert, l'étrier terminal 8 d'un brin du bracelet, par exemple d'un bracelet métallique articulé. En fermant le couvercle 5, l'étrier terminal 8 est maintenu amoviblement en place. La partie courbe du coulisseau 2 permet d'introduire une tige ap partenant à l'élément terminal de l'autre brin du bracelet. Il est possible d'utiliser à la place d'un étrier terminal 8 à tige fixe, un maillon métallique du bracelet, en remplaçant cette tige fixe par une tige amovible, insérée dans un perçage et fixée par une vis frontale.
En vue de réaliser une articulation d'un effet dé coratif, la partie courbe du coulisseau 2 est entaillée pour recevoir les parties décoratives correspondantes du maillon terminal d'un bra celet métallique articulé. Il est possible de réa liser la liaison articulée entre le fermoir exten sible et le bracelet, de sorte que le fermoir se présente comme un chaînon du bracelet.
Toutes les pièces constitutives du fermoir extensible, à l'exception du ressort, sont de préférence en alliage léger à teneur d'alumi nium, admettant un traitement de surface par un moyen chimique ou électrochimique, même à l'état monté, le cas échéant en même temps qu'un bracelet constitué de la même matière.

The extensible clasp shown comprises a slide 1 and a slide 2, elastically linked to one another by means of a spring 3 and a guide tee 4. The slide 1 has longitudinal sides la and a transverse raised edge lb serving as a support for the crosspiece of the guide tee 4. The slider 2 comprises two U-shaped curved legs, respectively <I> 2a </I> and <I> 2b. </I> The jamb <I> 2a, </I> placed between the longitudinal sides of the slide 1, has the edges folded inwards to forge with the bottom of the slide 1 and the raised edge 1b of the latter a compartment. In this compartment are housed the spring 3 and the guide tee 4.
The spring 3 rests, on one side, on the folded transverse edge of the leg 2a of the slide and, on the other side, on the cross member of the guide tee 4. The leg 2b of the slide 2 is applied flat externally against the bottom of the slide 1, in order to ensure the connection between the slide 1 and the leg 2a of the same slide, in any position.
By keeping the slide 1 fixed and by pulling the slide 2 outwards, the guide tee 4 remains fixed, butting against the transverse edge lb of the slide. At the same time, the spring 3 is compressed by the displacement of the folded transverse edge of the leg 2a of the slider and the spar of the guide tee 4 emerges from a notch in said folded edge. On releasing the slide, it returns to its original position by relaxing the spring 3. During this extension, the slide 2 is constantly guided bilaterally by the sides 1a of the slide and, in the middle part, by the guide tee 4.
At one end of the slide 1 is cut in the mass a double pivot, serving as an axis for the articulation of the cover 5, which closes on the slide 2, entering through a tab 6, in a window longitudinal 7 and by pressing on the back of the cross member of the guide tee 4. This back is accessible through a median notch made in the raised edge 1b of the slide 1 and is constantly exposed to the pressure of the spring 3. When the slider 2 is pulled outward, its longitudinal window 7 moves, while the tab 6 of the cover is held by the guide tee 4.
The end of the slide on which the cover 5 is hinged is shaped so as to receive, with the cover open, the end bracket 8 of a strand of the bracelet, for example of an articulated metal bracelet. By closing the cover 5, the end bracket 8 is removably held in place. The curved part of the slide 2 makes it possible to introduce a rod belonging to the terminal element of the other strand of the bracelet. It is possible to use instead of a terminal bracket 8 with a fixed rod, a metal link of the bracelet, by replacing this fixed rod by a removable rod, inserted into a bore and fixed by a front screw.
In order to achieve an articulation with a decorative effect, the curved part of the slider 2 is notched to receive the corresponding decorative parts of the terminal link of an articulated metal strap. It is possible to make the articulated connection between the extensible clasp and the bracelet, so that the clasp appears as a link of the bracelet.
All the constituent parts of the extendable clasp, with the exception of the spring, are preferably made of a light alloy with an aluminum content, admitting a surface treatment by chemical or electrochemical means, even in the mounted state, if necessary. at the same time as a bracelet made of the same material.
