Device for the preparation of measurable masses
The main patent describes a device for the preparation of flowable masses with an agitator and a gear provided between the drive and agitator, the output speed of which is changed by a controller when at least one physical state variable of the flowing mass is changed. This is particularly advantageous where the type of agitation in the course of the preparation process or during the maintenance of a certain state, e.g. B. a temperature, must take place differently.
In the warp size, as is known, the starch contained in the size is broken down during the preparation process, with the size changing its viscosity considerably. Therefore, the speed of the agitator must be adapted to the viscosity of the size. Two speeds are usually sufficient, one for the thin, one for the viscous state.
In the exemplary embodiments cited in the main patent, there are single or multiple agitators in a vessel, preferably with different effects in different speed ranges and directions, working simultaneously or in succession or alternately. The agitators are driven by fixed or variable-speed gears with single or multiple drives or directly and controlled automatically by means of effect knives, if necessary with coupled time monitors or program controllers, using appropriate control elements.
The invention relates to an advantageous development of a device according to the claim of the main patent and consists in that a stirring member is provided with an additional stirring member, which is given a relative movement to the movement of the main stirring member in one direction of rotation of the stirring member via a gear, while in the other direction of rotation of the main agitator, the relative movement of the additional agitator is zero.
In Fig. 1 and 2, an embodiment of the invention is shown. In a preparation vessel 1 there are heating coils 2 and a rotatable bar grid 3 serving as a stirring member. In the bar grid 3, another bar grid 4 is rotatably mounted, with a ratchet wheel 6 connected to the shaft 5 of the bar grid 4 acting as an additional stirring member, which is connected to a Pawl 7 works together. The pawl 7 is rotatably fixed on a gear wheel 8 which meshes with the drive gear 9.
The drive gear 9 is fastened to the lid 20 of the preparation tray 1. A bevel gear 10, which is driven by the motor 12 via the bevel gear 11, drives the agitator 3 via the shaft 17. The motor 12 is a reversing motor. It is fed via the lines 13 which lead to the switch box 14. A thermometer 15 is connected to the switch box 14 via conductors 16 and can switch the supply lines 13 of the motor 12, if necessary via a contactor that can be accommodated in the switch box 14, so that the motor can be switched on or off according to the measured temperature values left around. running.
When the system is put into operation, when the agitator 3 starts up in the x direction, the additional agitator 4 rotates at a higher speed because the gear 8 as a planet wheel rolls on the gear 9 as a sun gear and the shaft 5 of the additional agitator via the pawl 7 and ratchet 6 - takes the member with him. When the agitator 3 starts up in the y direction, on the other hand, the shaft 5 of the additional agitator is not taken along because the gear 8 rolls on the gear 9 in the opposite direction and the pawl 7 ratchets over the ratchet 6. If a certain condition, e.g. If, for example, a temperature value is reached, the direction of rotation of the motor is switched over by the thermometer 15 via the line 16.
It is, however, also possible to use the resistance of the agitator in the flowing mass itself for the changeover, except for the switching of the stirring element which has been described by electrical means. Thus, a gear can be switched on from the drive via a clutch, which automatically switches on the slow speed or controls the speed if the agitator resistance is too great.
According to another embodiment of the inventive concept, the switchover takes place as a function of the temperature and / or the viscosity accordingly when the setpoint value is exceeded or not reached, if necessary via relays or other auxiliary switches.
For this purpose, the change in the direction of rotation can be used, whereby z. B. the structure is simplified and also the formation of non-flowed angles in the sizing preparation trough is prevented. Instead of a thermometer or a viscosity meter, an adhesive force meter, a p or other measuring device can also be used.
Due to the simple construction of the device described, the treatment of flowable masses can be carried out in the same device with simple means, which is particularly advantageous if the condition changes during the treatment. The condition of the items to be treated can be easily and even automatically adjusted.
