Fig. 2 bis 7 zeigen einen.
Fig. 5) eingelassen.
in Schliessstellung.
Gas switch The invention relates to a gas switch, in particular for Cxas water heaters.
The invention is based on the object of creating a gas switch that is simple in construction. . and which is therefore easy to manufacture and is extremely reliable.
According to the invention, a main gas valve that opens and closes by axial movement is provided and a manually operable pushbutton, the switch-on pushbutton acting on the valve stem of the main gas valve being locked in the open position by a manually triggered locking device. In such a construction of the gas switch, there are numerous advantageous options, which he will be explained in more detail with reference to some exemplary embodiments.
The figures show: FIG. 1 a schematic diagram of the gas switch according to the invention, FIG. 2 a gas switch from which, in addition to a main valve, an ignition valve is actuated, in outline in section, FIG. 3 this gas switch in elevation in section, FIG a view of the keyboard of this gas switch, FIG. 5 a diagram.
6 and 7 show details of the pushbuttons in the gas switch according to FIG. 2, FIG. 8 a gas switch according to the invention, which is combined with a thermostat to obtain an ignition fuse, FIG. 9 shows a modification of the gas switch according to FIG. 1. Fig. 10 and 11 a gas switch with small adjustment and thermoelectric ignition fuse.
A simple embodiment of a gas valve controlled by means of pushbuttons is schematically shown in FIG. 1: dargest.eRt On push button 7 opposite. When the push button 7 is pressed in against the spring 8, a non-positive connection of the plungers 2 and 6 is established. and the valve disk 5 is lifted from its seat 4 against the action of the spring 3.
The push button plunger 6 has a locking lug 9 and penetrates a ge in the switch housing 10 transversely to the direction of movement of the plunger 6 led, under the influence of a spring -11 standing bolt 12, behind which you look after pressing the power button 7 the - Rie gelnase 9 catches and thereby the power button 7 is locked in the open position.
A switch-off pushbutton 13 is arranged parallel to the switch-on pushbutton 7, the plunger 14 of which is provided with an inclined surface 15: When the switch-off pushbutton 13 is pressed in, the bolt 12 is displaced by the inclined surface 7.5 against the spring 11 and thereby the bolt nose 9 released, so da.ss the Ven tilteller 5 in the closed position and the A switch 7 can go back to its basic position.
Figs. 2 to 7 show one. Gas switch, with which an ignition gas valve is also controlled. In this case it is essential that the main gas valve can be closed without the pilot gas valve having to be closed at the same time.
This is achieved here in that the pushbutton of the ignition gas valve can be pressed in beyond the open position and thereby releases the locking device of the pushbutton of the main valve.
Fig. 4 in particular shows a particularly clear, elegant and space-saving design of the gas switch keyboard, which incidentally is not only applicable to the special construction shown here, but can also be used with other pushbutton gas holders according to the invention with advantage.
Ini gas switch housing 16 is a main gas valve 17 and a pilot gas valve 18 is arranged. In the front part 16 'of the gas switch housing 16, three pushbuttons are guided in a circle, the heads 19, 20, 21 of which form circular sectors, and (1 see, as shown in Fig. 4, add to a full rice.
In the push button heads 19, 20, 21 flat push button plugs 19 ', 20', 21 '(Fi, g. 2 and! Fig. 5) are embedded. When the push button 21 is pressed in, the plunger 21 'lifts the ignition valve 18, while the plunger 20' actuates the main gas valve 17.
A rotary plate 22 is mounted in the gas switch housing 16 on an inserted plate 23 at 24 'rotatably. The rotary plate 22 be seated locking lugs 25a, 25b, 25e, with cutouts 26a; 26b, 26e, of the push-button plungers 19 ', 20', 21 ', as will be explained with reference to FIG. 5, - interact.
In the initial state, the locking lug 25a rests on the end face 27 of the plunger 21 with a force fit. When the ignition button 21 is pressed, the ignition gas valve 18 opens. The locking lug 25a gets into the cutout 26a of the pushbutton handle 21 'and holds it in the open position. The locking lug 25b now finds its stop on the end face 28 of the push button plunger 20 '.
When the push button 20 is pressed in, the main gas valve 17 is opened. The locking nose 25b enters the cutout 26b of the push button plunger 20 ', so that the main gas valve 17 is held in the open position. The locking lug 25a. has penetrated even deeper into the cutout 26a of the push button plunger 21 'in this process. In addition, the locking lug 25c lies in the cutout 26c of the plunger 19 'of the Ausseha.lt pushbutton 19.
If the push button 21 (ignition button) is now further depressed, the bolt nose 25a slides along an inclined surface 29, whereby the rotary plate 22 is rotated against the action of the spring 25 We. As a result, the locking lug 25b is lifted out of the cutout 26b, so that the push button plunger 20 'is unlocked and the main gas valve 17 is brought into the closed position under the influence of a valve spring 30.
The ignition valve 18 remains open when the pushbutton 21 is left behind, since the locking lug 25a on the inclined surface 29 tends to catch in the cutout 26a again. By pressing the Aiissclialt push button 19, the rotary plate 22 is rotated by an inclined surface 31 acting on the locking lug 25c against the action of the spring 25 so far that the locking lug 25a. also releases the plunger 21 'of the pushbutton 21 so that the ignition valve 18 can close under the influence of a spring 32.
The main gas valve 17 is only locked in the open position when the ignition gas valve 18 is geöff. The push button 20 of the main gas valve 17 can be unlocked by pressing the ignition push button 21 further without the ignition gas valve 18 being closed. Both switch-on pushbuttons 20, 21 can be unlocked by the switch-off push button 19.
6 and 7 show a section through the switch-on pushbutton 20 and the switch-off pushbutton 19, namely FIG. 6 in the out of operation position, FIG. 7 with the on-pushbutton 20 depressed. The switch-off pushbutton 19 has a approximately quarter-cylindrical cavity 56 is provided which adjoins the side wall 57 of the switch-on pushbutton, 20.
In this cavity 56 is also un dangerous. Quarter-cylindrical marking body 58 is arranged, which is mounted in the cavity 56 in a form-fitting manner pivotable about an axis parallel to the side wall 57 and is under the influence of an expanding spring 59.
In A.Zw control of the buttons 19, 20, the marker body 58 rests with an edge 60 on the side wall 57 of the switch-on button 20. A flat roof surface 61 of the body 58 forms an acute angle with this side wall 57. When depressing. On the switch button 20, the marker body 58 folds under the influence of the spring 59 out of the cavity 56 over the end face 62 of the button 20. This position is shown in FIG. The baseplate 61 slides along the upper edge of the switch-on button 20 and, when the button 20 is completely pressed down, lies flat on its end face 62.
The marker body is made of red plastic and is clearly visible in the on position, so that the operating status of the device can also be easily recognized from the l #, 'ntfern-Ling. When switching off the switch-off pushbutton 19 is depressed and thus the marker body 58 is pushed back into the cavity 56. Since the A switch button 20 jumps out again, the body is also held in this position.
The marking arrangement used here can of course also be used in other pushbutton arrangements in addition to the exemplary embodiment just described.
The embodiment according to FIG. 8 represents a further embodiment of the gas switch according to the invention, which together with a thermostat also forms an ignition fuse. This is achieved in that the locking device is under the influence of a thermostat which can be heated by the pilot flame and which locks the locking device in the cold state and releases it in the heated state. As a result, a locking of the switch pushbutton in the Offenstelhmg can only take place when the pilot flame is burning.
In Fig. 8, 33 represents the gas container housing in which an ignition valve 34 and a. Main valve 35 are arranged, which are pressed by the springs 36, 37. The valves 34, 35 are pushed up by an ignition button 38 and a switch-on push button 39.
The buttons 38, 39 are locked by a latch slide 40. The lock can be released by a switch-off push button 41. The bolt 40 is through a vapor pressure thermostat, which consists of your sensor 41, the capillary 42 and the expansion body 43 from; locked.
When the sensor 47 of the thermostat is cold, the expansion body 43 is compressed by a spring 44, whereby the bolt 40 counteracts the action of the locking spring 45, which is significantly weaker than the spring 44, by a collar 43 'and a lug 40', is pressed into the position shown. In this locking position, the button 38 can be pressed so that the ignition valve 34 is opened and the ignition flame on the pilot burner 46 is ignited.
In this state, the ignition button 38 goes when it is released. under the action of the springs 36 and 38 'back into the closed position, while the main valve 35 cannot be opened because a nose 40a is in the incision 47 of the switch-on pushbutton 39 and. left locked. If the Füh ler 41 of the thermostat is heated by the ignition flame, the vapor pressure pushes the expansion body 43 apart against the action of the spring 44,
so that the collar 43 'releases the nose 40'; so that the bolt 40 is below in a known manner. the action of the locking spring 45 and the buttons 38, 49, 41 can move freely.
If the pilot flame goes out when the buttons 38, 39 are pressed in, the sensor 41 becomes cold, the steam pressure in the thermostat drops and the expansion body 43 'is compressed under the pressure of the spring 44. As a result, the collar 43 'presses the nose 40' to the left, so that the locking of the buttons 38, 39 is triggered, the valves 34, 35 are closed and finally the locking nose 40a slides back into the incision 47.
and the main button 39 locked.
Other key combinations (z. B. keys with small position) and training of the Rie gel 40 as a rotary valve are also possible, please include. Instead of the steam pressure thermostat 41, any other thermostat of suitable dimensions can of course also be used.
Fig. 9 shows a particularly simple construction of a gas switch, which is a modification of the gas switch shown schematically in Fig.l.
A key plunger 48, which presses the valve 49 open, carries a key head 51 which can be tilted about an axis 50 and has two actuation recesses 52 ′, 52 ". A sleeve 53 is attached to the key head 51 and has a locking incision 54 .
If the button is pressed by pressing at 52 ", the valve 49 is opened. The locking trough recess 54 slides up to a fixed bolt 55 and is brought into place by the torque generated by one-sided pressure.
The valve 49 is locked in the open position. If it is to be switched off, the locking incision 54 is brought out of a grip with the bolt 55 by pressure at 52 '. and the button and valve slide outwards or outwards through the spring 49 '.
in closed position. Instead of the fixed bolt 55, you can use a bolt that is controlled by an ignition safety device and is only held in the bolt position when the ignition flame is lit, but is removed from the path of the locking member 53 when the ignition flame is out.
Another embodiment of the invention is shown in FIGS. As in the embodiment according to FIG. 8, this involves a gas switch with a thermally controlled ignition fuse, which is shown here as a thermoelectric ignition fuse. Next is a small position of the main gas valve vorgese hen with this gas switch.
A main gas valve 64 and an ignition gas valve 65 are arranged in the valve housing 63 and control the gas admission to the main burner and to the ignition burner 67. The valve plates 64, 65 are provided with valve tappets 64 ', 65'. The valve stem 64 'of the main gas valve 64 is widened at its lower end to form a disk.
In the switch housing 68, four push-button tappets 69 ', 70', 71 ', 72' with push-buttons 69, 70, 71, 72 are displaceably guided aa-ially. When the pushbutton 69 (ignition pushbutton) is depressed, the pushbutton tappet 69 'strikes the face of the ignition valve tappet 65' and presses the ignition valve 65 against the active trough of the springs 73, 74.
The push buttons 70 and 71 both serve to control the main gas valve. Both the push button plunger 70 'and the plunger 71' engages when the corresponding push button is depressed on the disk-shaped widening of the valve plunger 64 'and presses the valve 64 against the action of the springs 75, 76, 77, the plunger 71' is shorter than the tappet 70 ', so that in the locked open position, the valve disk 64 is only slightly lifted off by the tappet 71' and a reduced opening is released.
This additional switch-on pushbutton 71 is used to lower the gas supply.
The key 72 is. the look-out push button that triggers the locking device described in the following when depressed again.
A bolt 78 is mounted in the switch housing 68, through which the push-button plungers 69 ', 70', 71 ', 72' penetrate transversely and is under the influence of a spring 79. This latch 78 is used to lock the A switch pushbuttons. It corresponds to the bolt 12 in Fig.1. A second bolt 80 is mounted behind the bolt 78 parallel to this and is also under the influence of a spring 81. This serves to lock the ignition button. The push-button tappets have locking lugs 82, 83, 84, 85, which are provided with inclined surfaces 82 ', 83', 84 ', 85'.
The plunger 69 'also has a gante 86 which, when the ignition pushbutton is depressed, engages an angle bell 87 rotatably mounted in the housing 68, one leg 88 of which then rests against the gante 86 of the plunger 69', while the other leg 89 in a .Sperriegel 90 engages. The locking bolt 90 is slidably guided in the switch housing and is pushed to the left by turning the angle lever 87 against the action of a return spring 91.
As shown in FIG. 11, locking cams 92, 92 'enter grooves 93, 93' of tappets 70 ', 71' and lock the switch-on pushbuttons 70, 71 in the basic position as long as ignition button 69 is depressed deeply is.
During the lateral displacement of the locking bolt 90, an armature slide 95, which is guided parallel thereto in the switch housing 68, is carried along by nuts 94, 94 '. This entrainment takes place against the action of a relatively strong return spring 96. The armature slide 95 carries at its end the armature 97 of an electromagnet 98, which can be thermoelectrically excited in a known manner by the heat of the ignition flame.
A holding member 99 is attached to the armature slide 95, on which the two bolts 78, 80 rest. The restoring spring 96 is so strong that the holding member 99 can push back the latches 78 and 80 against the Fe countries 79 and 81 and stop in this position and render them ineffective. As long as the armature slide 95 with the holding member 99 is in the position shown, the buttons 69, 70, 71 cannot be locked. The tappets 70 ', 71' each have a further groove 100, 100 'into which locking lugs 101, 101' of the armature slide 95 engage. The locking lugs 101, 101 'only release the plungers 70', 71 'when the slide valve 95 is so far. is shifted that the armature 97 rests on the electromagnet 98.
The operation of the gas holder described is as follows: In the basic position shown, the switch-on pushbuttons 70, 71 'cannot be actuated because their plungers 70, 71' are locked by the locking lugs 101, 101 '. The ignition button 69 must first be completely depressed and the ignition gas valve 65 opened, the latches 90 and 95 moved to the left and the armature 97 pressed against the electromagnet 98. In this state, the locking lugs 101, 101 'have released the tappets 70', 71 ', but they are now locked by the locking cams 92, 92'.
If now, although the ignition gas valve 65 is open, the ignition flame is not burned and the ignition button 69 is released, all parts go back to the basic position shown, including the ignition button 69, which is not in the because of the retracted bolt 78 Open position is locked. If, however, the ignition flame is burned when the ignition button 69 is pressed through, the magnet 98 is excited and the armature 97 is held.
When the ignition button 69 is released, it is now in the open position through the now. freely movable bolt 78 locked, but at the same time also the locking bolt 90 in the basic position can zurückge, so that the locking ring of the plunger 70, 71 'is canceled both by the locking lugs 101, 101' and by the locking lugs 92, 92 '.
The switch-on pushbuttons 70, 71 'can only be actuated and the main gas valve 64 opened when the pilot flame is burning, that is to say when the electromagnet 98 is excited. He extinguishes the pilot flame, the armature 97 is released and all locks are triggered by the holding member 99, so that Hauptven valve 64 and ignition valve 65 close automatically.
When the switch-off button 72 is pressed, the bolts 78, 80 are also withdrawn, so that both valves 64, 65 close, the thermal flow stops and finally the armature slide 95 also returns to its basic position.
