Device to prevent the rotation of injection nozzles in internal combustion engines Injection nozzles in which the injected fuel jet is not located in the nozzle axis, but is inclined to it at an angle, require a precise rotational position in the cylinder. It has already been proposed for this purpose to attach lateral crossbars or projections in the nozzle bodies,
which -earth in slots of the nozzle liner. The known designs with two opposing jaws or projections e ii each have the disadvantage
that incorrect installation as a result of a rotation of 180 is possible. (-To prevent such an incorrect installation, therefore, a third projection is attached, which is offset by 90 to the opposite projections.
The invention aims at a simplified rotation lock and consists in that the two opposite fronts protrude over the otherwise round cross-section of the nozzle body, of the kind unsynimetrically to a central plane going through the axis of the injection nozzle " , ind that a 180 offset insertion of the injection nozzle into the nozzle holder,
as which, for example, a housing can also serve, is prevented. As a result, @cird a special third advantage is unnecessary. The voi.slirünge can be formed in the simplest way by unsymmetrical flattening of an n-cylindrical flange.
The invention can be used for single-hole as well as for multi-oil injection nozzles and is explained in more detail with reference to the following description of some exemplary embodiments.
1 shows a section through the arrangement of an injection nozzle which is inserted into a cylinder head and designed according to the invention, Fig. \ ': A .Section: through the nozzle holder along the line \? @ -? 3 and 3 show a horizontal section along line 3-3 in FIG. 1 and FIG. -1 shows a horizontal section through another embodiment of the anti-rotation device of the nozzle.
In Fig. 1 is. screwed into a bore of the Zylin derkopfes 10, a nozzle holder 11, which is secured in its Drehhage, for example by a screw 1? In the nozzle holder 11, the actual injection nozzle 13 is inserted from above and fastened to your holder by a union nut 1-1. To prevent rotation of the nozzle 13 in the holder 11 or
To secure their rotational position, the nozzle is flattened on its upper cylindrical flange part 15 at 16 and 17, the flats being two slightly different from a and b from. the middle plane x-x parallel to the flats through the nozzle axis. This results in two opposing projections 15 ′ and 15 ″ which protrude beyond the remaining round cross section of the nozzle body 13.
The sleeve-shaped nozzle holder 11 has at its upper end two segment-shaped lugs 18 and 19 arranged at a corresponding distance from one another, wel che as a remaining remainder. By eccentric milling out a central breakthrough ches are formed through the upper end of the nozzle holder. The nozzle can therefore only be set in the nozzle holder in the position shown.
In the exemplary embodiment according to FIG. 1, the nozzle 13 is provided with projections 2.0 and 21 which, in a claw-like manner, engage in counter-claw-like projections 2, 2, 23 of the nozzle holder .
