Injection valve with conical seat for internal combustion engines. The invention relates to an injection valve with a conical seat for internal combustion engines.
In the previously known injection valves with a conical seat, the nozzle, needle guide and nozzle consisted of one piece. This version has the disadvantage that the machining of the conical seat for the nozzle needle is very difficult at the bottom of a hole that is very narrow in relation to its length and therefore the hole with a smaller diameter is still a certain amount in most versions behind the conical seat must be continued to provide an outlet for the seat processing tool. The spray hole or holes are drilled into this outlet hole in the type of nozzle.
There is thus between the nozzle needle located on their seat and the beginning of the injection hole or bores still a certain space is available through the injection hole or bores with the combustion chamber of the cylinder in open connec tion and is harmful to the extent that in the Injection bores or bores bring all sorts of impurities into this space, which, if the machine is not properly maintained, will eventually fill it up completely and lead to blockages that are difficult to clear and, if handled incorrectly, which must always be expected in operation , Damage to the fine spray holes for. Have consequence.
On the other hand, injection valves have also become known where the difficulties of machining the conical seat without an outlet bore for the seat machining tool were accepted. The advantage of such a design is that when the valve is closed, the spray opening or openings is or are always immediately closed by the cone of the nozzle needle, so that no impurities can enter the interior of the nozzle.
It has also been provided, the manufacturing and operational difficulties of these versions of the injector to bypass the fact that you have arranged nozzle needles with a flat seat and an inserted flat seat plate. However, this design has the disadvantage that a level seat is difficult to get tight and is even more difficult to keep tight.
In addition, this type of injection valve lacks any possibility of special arrangement of the injection bore or bores, which is present in conical point injection valves; With flat seat nozzles, only a single injection hole is possible in the longitudinal axis of the injection valve.
According to the invention, the needle guide and the nozzles with the conical seat for the nozzle needle lead out as two separate parts. As a result, the nozzle can only be a very short part with a relatively wide bore, which allows the conical seat for the nozzle needle to be machined properly without an outlet bore for the seat machining tool. The invention offers further advantages over the known designs. One time it allows the nozzle to be made from a material that has the best heat resistance, while a material with the best running properties can be selected for the nozzle body in which the nozzle needle must be guided tightly.
Then the interchangeability of the nozzle grants the greatest possible freedom with regard to the fuels, since you have the option of selecting and installing the most suitable nozzle for a particular fuel without the cost of a completely new injection syringe; tils to have to accept. And finally the interchangeability of the nozzle reduces the maintenance costs of the machine.
The drawing relates to two exemplary embodiments of the invention: FIG. 1 shows a vertical section through one part of one injection valve, FIG. 2 shows a vertical section through the nozzle of the other injection valve.
In the valve housing 1 according to Figure 1, the nozzle 2 is inserted and held with a collar 3. The nozzle needle guide 4 engages with the pin 5 in the bore of the nozzle 2, is supported with the shoulder 6 on the collar 3 of the nozzle 2 and is fastened in the valve housing 1 by the nozzle holder 7 with thread 8.
Through a hole 9 in the nozzle holder 7, an annular groove 10 in the upper flat surface of the nozzle needle guide 4 and holes 11 and 12 in the nozzle needle guide 4, the fuel is fed to the annular space 13 between the nozzle needle guide 4 and nozzle 2 on the one hand and nozzle needle 14 on the other.
The injection opening 15 is arranged in the axis of the nozzle needle 14. According to FIG. 2, a further spray bore 16 is arranged on one side of the nozzle 2. However, several bores 16 could also be attached in the same cross-sectional plane and possibly combined with an axial bore 15.
