Um zu verhüten, dass die frisch ein geführte Luft die Trommel 4 auf der gleichen Seite wieder verlässt., ist die Trommel 4 finit dem si:Elstehenden Deckel 35 verschlossen;
Device for washing and subsequent drying of coarse-grained goods The invention relates to a device for washing and then drying coarse-grained goods, such as potatoes, etc.
Potatoes, beets and similar products are washed before they are put on the market. to be brought. It has proven to be disadvantageous for the storage if this grave-grain material is not well dry.
The inventive device be intended u. a. to achieve good drying. It is characterized by a rotatable front drum that is inside with.
is lined with a covering that soaks up water, and by an organ that is pressed against the covering that presses the water out of this and removes it from the drum.
An embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is shown schematically in the accompanying drawing. It shows.:
1 shows a longitudinal section through the entire washing and drying device, FIG. 2 shows a cross section through the washing drum, FIG. 3 shows a cross section through the preliminary drying drum, FIG. 4 shows a cross section through the drying drum.
The washing and drying system has. a frame 1, which is on the abutment 2 together. the three drums 4, 5 and 6 is tiltable and adjustable on abutment 3. The following components are mounted on this frame 1: "1.
The rotating device of the three drums 4, 5 and 6, consisting of two parallel shafts 8 mounted in the bearings 7, which carry the rollers 9 and are driven by the gear motor 10 and are connected to one another via the chain 11 (see Fig. 4) .
2. The Luftiunwäliingsvorrichtiuig with the shaft 12, which is stored in the bearings 13 and 14 and from. the motor 15 is driven. This carries the fan wheels 16.
3. The washing nozzle system, consisting of the supporting beam 17 and the hollow nozzle shaft 1.8 on which the nozzles 19 are seated. The nozzle shaft 18 is pivoted back and forth by the motor 20. At one end it carries the stuffing box 21.
4. The drip water removal device with the scraper 22 and the drip water tray 23, which is also mounted on the support beam 17.
The coarse-grained dry goods to be washed are lifted continuously out of the bunker 25 by means of the conveyor belt 24 and through the opening in the end wall. 26 thrown into the washing drum 6. This consists of an outer. Sheet metal jacket 27 and an inner jacket made of rods 28.
The water is fed through the stuffing box 21 into the hollow shaft 18 and sprayed through the nozzles 19 against the Gilt. The splash water is kept away from the drip water removal device by the partition 29 with an apron made of plastic 30. The washing water leaves the washing drum 6 through the line 31
The drying drum 4 consists. from a sheet metal jacket 3 \ 3 un-cl is with. a what seraufsaugenden covering, z. B. felt, plush or Kimststoffsehwamm, lined, which some of the water adhering to the washed good with. takes himself and breathes it over the whole L7mfa.ng. releases, which significantly increases the effective evaporation area.
The right covering also prevents the entire slipping of the goods. So it is at the same time an organ for gentle circulation of the (-r'ut.es.
The air is drawn in by the first fan wheel 16 through the channel 33. The channel 33 is preceded by a heating element 34 that heats the air. The heating can be done electrically, with steam or with heating gases.
The air is booked and coated in rotation by the valve @ ator wheels 16. the inner wall of the drum. The curvy of the surface causes. That the air, by friction at speed.
has lost, is displaced by air at full speed and collects inside the drum. From here it is sucked in again by the following fan wheels. So achieved. one that the air sweeps the Tromniehvancl as well as the material at high (tea speed) until it leaves the drum on the other side, cooled and saturated.
In order to prevent the freshly introduced air from leaving the drum 4 again on the same side, the drum 4 is closed finitely by the cover 35 that is standing on it;
the items to be dried must leave the drum through the flap 36. The material to be dried is continuously conveyed on with the conveyor belt 37. In order to remove a large part of the water mechanically, is. - Between the washing drum 6 and the drying drum 4 a third drum ö as a pre-drying drum. built-in. Inside it is covered with a water-absorbent layer, e.g.
B. fur-shaped layer or plastic sponge, lined det. A scraper 22 is attached near this lining. . A mechanism with springs (only indicated in FIG. 3) presses this scraper 22 against the water-absorbent layer, whereby the water out of the layer. pressed and for the most part directed into the dripping water damage 23, from where it is discharged through a pipe 38.
Instead of the wiper, a roller can be provided as an extrusion element.
As a fur-shaped layer, for. B. plush can be used, which is mounted as a long band in the drum 5. becomes. The ends of the tape are at the drum ends. a cuff 39 covered.
The blades of the fan wheels are curved forwards and give the air a high speed compared to the material to be dried at low pressure.
In the case of very long dry tunnels, the fan wheels can be driven individually by electric motors.
