Weather strip The invention relates to a yetter strip on windows with a lower stop strip embedded in the lining frame and an upper stop strip adjacent to the groove of the window sash frame.
There are weather strips on windows be known, which after installation is directed outwards at an angle downwards. and have a lower stop bar resting against the feed stream and an upper stop bar resting against the sash frame, the latter being provided with drainage holes so that rainwater that collects and has penetrated can flow away behind the upper stop bar. can.
It has been shown that a strong wind pressure is sufficient to prevent the drainage of water through the drainage basin, so that the water is dammed in the space behind the upper ledge.
The weather bar according to the invention is characterized by the fact that it is formed from an outwardly downwardly sloping upper part and a stepped lower part adjoining the latter, in order to avoid the mentioned near part of the known embodiment, the connection style runs between the upper and the lower part in the shape of a curve and behind the outlet opening of the upper part penetrating,
outward sloping downward drainage hole is located. In the drawing, a Ausführungsbei is shown game of the subject invention. It shows: Fig. 1 a cross section through a mounted weather bar and Fig. 2 a cross section through such a detailed variant.
The weather bar according to the embodiment according to FIG. 1 has an upper part 1 directed obliquely forwards and downwards and an adjoining, stepped, at least approximately parallel lower part 2. The upper part 1 is provided with a stop bar 4, which is let into the lining frame 3 of the window opening so far that the edge of the stop bar is flush with the stop bar. the stop surface of the putter frame.
The stop bar 4 has a projection 6 with a drip edge 7. that extends up over the part 1 and forms a back-dust bridge
The transition from the top. Part 1 to the lower part 2 is to safely prevent a possible backwater of rainwater into the space below the window sash frame 5 through the drainage hole 8 and to Enabling unhindered drainage of the water that collects under the casement 5 in the form of a curve 9 , the # logs # 1 'of which, viewed from the front, are behind the outlet opening of the drainage hole 8 is ..
On the front edge of the upper part 1 , another display bar 10 is attached, which is provided with an extension 11 which extends in the direction of part 2 that you see in front of the outlet opening of the drain, oehes 8 and in front of the KLinenstüek 9 .
This extension 11 has the task of keeping away any angular pressure on the outlet opening of the drainage hole 8 - so that any water 9 </ B may be present > can flow unhindered through the drainage hole 8 on the inside of the extension 11 . Understanding have shown that even with the strongest wind pressure acting from the front, water that collects on the upper part 1 flows off without a back-up effect.
The front stop strip 10, which rests on the groove of the window sash frame 5, has a drip edge 12 on its upper edge.
The weather bar formed from the upper and lower part 1 or 2, the connecting piece 9 and the two stop bars 4 and 10 is made of a third # laterigf-, tüek made. It can be made of both metal and plastic.
The Ausführungsforni the weather bar according to Fig. 2 is different. See from the one according to FIG. 1 only in that the lower part 2 has a curved shape instead of a straight one.
