Fig. 3 eine zweite Ausführungsform einer Lichtanlasszündmaschine im Längsschnitt, Fig. 4 einen Schnitt nach Linie IV-IV in Fig. 3.
Light ignition machine, especially light starter ignition machine for internal combustion engines The invention relates to an electric machine for internal combustion engines, which serves to generate light and ignition current as well as possibly as a starter motor and has a fixed field system and an armature rotating around the field system, the support plate of which with hub just like a commutator and an interrupter device are on the side of the field system facing away from the motor.
In a known light ignition machine of this type, the commutator is arranged between the support plate and the field system. This has the disadvantage that the carbon brushes are only accessible when the armature is removed from the crankshaft. As a result, the cam of the interrupter, which is usually located in the extension of the crankshaft, is also removed and replaced after the brushes have been replaced, which causes some difficulties for the inexperienced in this area because the cam is in a must be fixed in a very specific position to the crankshaft.
Furthermore, with this arrangement, the connection of the armature winding to the commutator causes considerable difficulties because the commutator is located inside the armature and is therefore difficult to access for soldering the wires. The soldered connections are therefore costly and can only be made reliably with difficulty. To eliminate these disadvantages, according to the invention, both the commutator and the interrupter are arranged on the side of the anchor support plate facing away from the field system.
In the drawing, two execution examples of the subject matter of the invention are provided. It shows: FIG. 1 a light starting ignition machine with a fan in a longitudinal section, FIG. 2 a section along the line II-II in FIG.
3 shows a second embodiment of a light starting ignition machine in longitudinal section, FIG. 4 shows a section along line IV-IV in FIG. 3.
In FIGS. 1 and 2, 10 is the crankshaft of an internal combustion engine, not shown. On the housing of the motor indicated at 11, the field frame 12 is wound. 1.3 attached to a light starter igniter. On the end of the crankshaft protruding into the field frame, a disk-shaped support plate 14 with a hub 15 is keyed. The disc 14 is on the side of the field frame facing away from the engine. Its outer edge extends close to the inner edge of an armature 16 with a winding 17 surrounding the field frame.
On its outer end face, the disk has some centering lugs 18 on which a. Ring 19 is centered and fastened with screws 20. This ring has a ring 21 on which the sheet metal package 22 of the anchor is screwed. A drum-shaped commutator 24 is seated on the outside of an extension 23 of the hub projecting over the end of the crankshaft.
The connecting lines 25 of the armature winding with the commutator are passed through the gaps that exist between the disc 14 and the ring 19 due to the centering approaches 18. The ring 19 carries fan blades 26t on its end facing away from the engine. The fan wheel formed in this way and the armature support plate with the commutator are covered by a fan housing 27 attached to the internal combustion engine.
In the alignment of the crankshaft this has a recess 28 in which an interrupter device is accommodated. Pivots 30 for breaker levers 31 are fastened to the bottom 29 of the recess. A bolt 33 screwed into the crankshaft end protrudes through an opening 32 in the center of the base 29 and on which a cam 34 which actuates the breaker lever is seated. Holders 35 for the carbon brush most 36 of the commutator are attached to the inside of the fan housing.
The construction described has the advantage that the outer rotor armature with its commutator can be manufactured ready for installation. The commutator is accessible for the work to be done on it such as switching and soldering the connec tion lines as well as editing the commutator surface. To adjust or replace the carbon brushes, only the fan housing has to be removed.
The embodiment according to FIGS. 3 and 4 differs from the first described surrounded by a different design of the disk supporting the anchor. This consists here of a sheet metal disk 40 welded to the hub 41, the outer edge of which coincides with the outer edge of the armature 16. Like the armature, the sheet metal disk has grooves 42 which are on the same diameter as the armature grooves. The connecting lines from the armature winding to the commutator 24 seated on the hub 41 are passed through these grooves.
The disc is provided with a number of elevations 43 against which the fan wheel 19 rests and is firmly clamped ver to the disc by screws 44. In addition, screws 45 are also provided. which hold the armature package, the support disk 40 and the fan 19 together.
