Frame part with a web and at least one flange having metal profile, in particular for windows and doors The main patent relates to a frame part with a web and at least one flange having metal profile, in particular for windows and doors, which is arranged by two cross-sectionally arranged metal profile bars is characterized, which are separated from each other in the web in order to avoid the metallic thermal bridge in the longitudinal direction by at least one plastic intermediate layer connected to them.
Recent studies have shown that it is advisable to dimension the plastic intermediate layer so that the interruption of the metallic thermal bridge is at least 7 mm. By dimensioning the plastic intermediate layer in this way, it is possible to prevent the formation of condensation in temperature-controlled rooms with sufficient safety even when the outside temperature is very low.
If the plastic intermediate layer is inserted into a groove in the metal profile rod, it can be advantageous to press the walls of the groove against the plastic rod. This pressing can take place at room temperature; no heating devices are then necessary, and there is no art. use materials that are not thermoplastic. Another advantage of this method of operation at room temperature is that the plastic, whose coefficient of thermal expansion is generally greater than that of the metal, does not shrink after the connection operation has been carried out.
With such a type of connection by pressing the groove walls, it is advantageous to let the groove walls of the metal profile rods protrude towards the outside in such a way that after pressing against the plastic rod they form an at least approximately smooth surface with them.
To increase the strength of the connec tion, several parallel grooves can be provided with sufficiently wide webs. In this case, a sufficient Verklam management of the plastic rod with the metal profile rods can take place without narrowing the opening of the grooves if they diverge in cross-section from the base to the opening or approach each other.
The drawing illustrates two exemplary embodiments of the frame part according to the invention. 1 shows in cross section a window frame part consisting of the light metal profile rods 1 and 2 and the plastic rod 3. The plastic rod forms an 8 mm interruption in the metallic heat bridge over the entire cross-section of the bar.
The light metal rods are each provided with two grooves 4 and 5, which diverge in cross-section from the base to the opening and which are separated from one another in the transverse direction by a rib, while in the plastic rod, in the middle, there is a dovetail-shaped groove.
The frame part according to FIG. 1 can be produced by hot-pressing the plastic rod 3 into the grooves 4 and 5.
Fig. 2 illustrates an embodiment example in which the flanges 7, which form the outer walls of the groove 6, are originally directed outwards. After inserting the plastic rod @ 3 in the ge optionally provided with an adhesive groove of the profile rods 1 and 2, the Nu tenaussenwandungen are pressed against each other and then form with the outer walls of the rod 3 flat surfaces.
In both exemplary embodiments, the plastic intermediate layer is arranged eccentrically in the direction of the flange 1, namely practically following the flange 1. This arrangement results in significant advantages. In particular, glazing bars, hinge strips and locking bars can be arranged adjacent to the metallic part of the web without the interruption of the thermal bridge created by the plastic intermediate layer being partially or completely eliminated by bridging the plastic rod.
In addition, the reduction of the metal surface (flange 1) exposed to the outside temperature is important with regard to. the remaining heat exchange through convection and radiation is advantageous. The plastic intermediate layer extends within less than half of the part of the web height essentially across the web. The dovetail-like connection according to FIG. 2 has proven to be the most advantageous.
