Description

Window with a profiled metal frame The present invention relates to a window with a profiled metal frame, which has a flange which limits the clear window opening and which engages over the edge of the glazing on one side, a strip engaging over the other side of the glazing, which is releasably clamped in a groove on the frame.

The invention lies in the fact that the strip is designed as a drawn metal profile and is provided with a projection which is directed towards the pane and covers the cement bed.

Two exemplary embodiments of the subject matter of the invention are explained in more detail with reference to the accompanying drawings: FIG. 1 shows a section through a window with double glazing in the closed state; FIG. 2 shows a section through a window with a single pane of glass , in the open state,

and FIG. 3 shows a cross-section through an Ijeiste on an enlarged scale.

In the examples shown, the profiled metal frame 1 of a window sash has a flange 2 which delimits the clear window opening and which engages over the outside of the one glass pane 13 (FIG. 1) or the pane 14 (FIG. 2) while over the inside of the second disc 13 (Fig. 1) or

the disc 14 (FIG. 2) engages a strip 3 or 4 which is releasably clamped in a groove 5 on the frame. The bar 3 has a U-shaped cross-section, while the bar 4 has a part that has a U-shaped cross-section to which an extension 15 is attached,

wherein the legs of the U-shape can spring against each other in both cases and have bulges 6 at their ends on the outer sides, wel che fen behind a narrowing 7 of the groove 5.

In order to be able to fasten the bar 3 or 4 quickly and be quem when inserting a disc in the frame 1, the legs of the bar outside the beads are wedge-shaped in cross-section, and the wedge-shaped part of one leg is oblique to the other leg directed.

In -der Fig.1. is shown on the left with the fixed window frame 8 how the bar 3 is mounted.

The bead. 6 of one leg is passed behind the constriction 7 and the bar is tilted around this bead in its desired position, whereby the wedge-shaped part of this other leg is easily inserted into the groove 5 due to its inclined position.

When the bar is clamped into the groove, the ends of the legs rest on the bottom of the groove 5, so that the bar can always be brought into the correct position in the simplest and fastest way without d:

as any aids such as screws, rivets or the like are required and without any fitting work having to be carried out on the frame or the bar. The frame as well. the bar be made of drawn light metal profiles, z. B. ans the known as a branded product Antieorodal Aluminhunlegierumg.

1, -If the bar has to be detached from the frame for any reason, it can be tipped back out of the groove the other way around, as it was inserted.

The opening limited by the strips 3 or 4 is the same size as the length of the. Flanseh? Limited, which gives the window a favorable appearance.

Both the frame 1 and the window lining 9 and the fixed window frame part 8 have webs 10 that reinforce the profile. The sash frame 1 is cut off at the points 11-Lind 12 against the window lining 9 and the fixed window frame part 8.

The casement frame 1 is incorporated in a row to optionally accommodate a double glass pane 13 or a single glass pane 14. The bar 3 for the Doppel @ glasseheilben, whose glass panes are connected to one another by a web 17 extending along their circumference, has only a small protruding edge 16 in place of the tab 15, which is directed against the double glass pane.
