Fig. 1 zeigt einen Einfaehballon,
Fig. 2 einen Doppelballon,
Fig. 3 und 4 die zwangsweise Ausbildung eines Doppelballons,
Fig. 5 die zwangsweise Ausbildung eines Vierfachba'llons.
Process for reducing fluctuations in thread tension when drawing a thread from a rotating spindle
The invention relates to a method for reducing fluctuations in the thread tension when drawing a thread from a rotating spindle. This method is characterized by the fact that the thread balloon that forms is forcibly designed as a permanent multiple balloon.
As is well known, a thread withdrawn from a rapidly rotating bobbin forms a so-called balloon, which means that the thread does not move on the shortest path from the spindle to the thread guide that is closest to the spindle, but rather it becomes fugal as a result of the centrifugal force is thrown on the outside and, according to Fig. 1, describes an area approximately in the shape of a balloon 2 around the spool I attached to the spindle.
As a result of the centrifugal force, the magnitude of which depends on the titer of the thread, the number of revolutions of the spindle and the take-off speed, tensions occur in the thread which, if a certain mass is exceeded, adversely affect the textile properties of the thread and even lead to thread breaks can.
The balloon shape shown in FIG. 1 is not the only possible one, but under certain circumstances multiple baiions also form between the bobbin 1 and the thread guide 3, as FIG. 2 shows one. As a rule, these multiple balloons are not very stable; they tend to change into single balloons. It can often be observed that the single balloon changes into a multiple balloon and that this changes back into the single balloon after a while, sometimes with an often changing game. This appearance depends on the shape of the coil, the type of winding, the titer and some coincidences and is difficult to determine in advance.
It has now been found that the change in the balloon shape is accompanied by a remarkable change in the thread tension. It has been shown in general that when you flip the double balloon into a simple one. balloon thread tension on average, about doubled. Although there are always differences in the tension of the dung in the withdrawn thread, depending on whether the origin of the baion is at the top or bottom of the bobbin from which the thread is taken, it has been found that these differences in tension become greater the higher the tensions caused by the balloon shape.
For example, with a single balloon, as explained, they are considerably larger than with a double balloon. This proves to be considerably cheaper than the single balloon.
It has now been found that the fluctuations in the thread tension are noticeably reduced if, in an exemplary embodiment of the method, the formation of double balloons and their maintenance are forcibly effected. With such an example, it is possible to pull heavier titers from spools with 80-100% higher spindle speeds than before, which means a remarkable increase in performance.
Implementation examples of the invention are explained with reference to the present drawing.
Fig. 1 shows a single balloon,
2 shows a double balloon,
3 and 4 the compulsory formation of a double balloon,
5 shows the compulsory formation of a quadruple ba'llon.
According to FIG. 3, the forced transfer of a single balloon into a permanent double balloon is achieved by placing a smooth rod 5 in the space 4 surrounded by the single balloon, to which the thread first strikes, thereby constricting the single balloon. The rod only has a stimulating effect, because as soon as the double balloon has formed, the constriction point is released from the rod and the double balloon remains in place by itself.
If the double balloon then shows the tendency to flip back into the receiving balloon, the rod is touched again by the thread and again stimulates the formation of the double balloon, which thus remains permanently.
In this state, the multiple balloons, i.e. the double, triple, etc.
Baiions, floating, inherently elastic structures that are ideally suited to largely reduce tension differences resulting from unwinding.
A particularly cheap, double balloons he generating device is shown in FIG.
It consists of a smooth ring 6 placed around the spindle. This embodiment simplifies the design of intermediate machines, and the effect is reliable.
The diameter of the ring must of course be adapted to the given conditions. So z. B. with a yarn weighed from 100 den. and a head angular weight of about 400 g, a diameter of 50 mm was found to be favorable. It does not depend on a particular depth of the constriction of the original single balloon caused by the ring, since the constriction only has a stimulating effect and the double balloon does not permanently touch the ring g after its formation, because the diameter of the ring becomes larger Taken as the diameter of the constriction formed by it.
If one wants to have a quadruple balloon, three smooth rings are arranged according to FIG.
