Description

Plastic joint insert The present invention relates to a plastic joint insert. It has already been proposed to use plastic inserts in place of the usual copper and lead sheets for sealing heavy-duty construction joints. The joint insert according to the invention is characterized by a middle,

by shaping in the transverse direction elastically flexible part and by parts provided with sealing means on two sides of the central part.

On the accompanying drawing Ausfüh approximately examples' of the subject invention are shown, namely show: Fig. 1 to 3 different profiles of plastic joint inserts - and the FiQ. 4 and ä a joint inlay designed as a cross piece in view and in cross section.

According to the first exemplary embodiment, the plastic joint insert has a central, elastically flexible expansion part 1, which extends in the form of a strip in the longitudinal direction and serves to accommodate the movements of the parts to be sealed. This expansion part 1 is formed like a hose, the largest dimension of the hose in cross section extending perpendicular to the belt surface.

The expansion part is followed by flaps 2 ribbed on both sides, which. form the sealing parts. The ribs 2 'act as harassment against the liquid creeping. To anchor the flaps, they each have an anchorage 3 that extends parallel to the tube. These are full in cross section. The design shown in FIG. 2 differs from the one described only in that the anchoring parts 1 are designed like tubes.

In FIG. 2 a profile is shown which has a central strip 5, in the middle of which a tube 6 extends as an expansion part. The strip is. bounded laterally by anchoring ribs 7. The up device tab 8 are provided with 9 ribs. The tube 6 and the middle strips 5 form the expansion part. The last variant (Fig. 4, 5) is. designed as a Krelizungsstücl @, which is used at the points where two joints cross.

The expansion part has two intersecting hoses 10, which allow the compensation of displacements in two mutually perpendicular directions. The see the expansion points on closing sealing tabs 11 are again with ribs 1 "? ' Mistake.
