Watch strap The present invention is a watch strap which has an inner and an outer part over part of its length, the outer part being hinged and having a locking part at its free end, and a comparison table of the local times of different countries between the two band parts mentioned is provided.
On the drawing, three example embodiments of the subject invention are shown. The figures show: FIG. 1 a first exemplary embodiment of a watch strap with the outer strap part unfolded, FIG. 2 a second exemplary embodiment in section, FIG. 3 a third exemplary embodiment in perspective, FIG. 4 shows the strap lock according to the exemplary embodiment in FIG. 3 with an opening.
The watch strap shown in Fig. 1 has an outer and an inner strap part. The band body 1 designed as an inner band part is formed by a band taken twice and has a loop 2 into which the retaining pin of the watch case engages in the usual way.
On the outside of this band body is a Deeklage 3 as the outer band part, which consists of the same material as the band body; however, the Deeklage 3 is only attached to the end part 3a of the band body 1, that runs from its end to a bending point 4 "on the band body, while that of. Part 3b of the same, as shown in FIG. 1 , which extends up to the watch case can be opened on the inside of part 3b of Top layer 3 and on the outside of the folded.
In the state below the section of the band body lying under part 3b, a piece of fabric 5 is glued or sewn on. A well-known comparison table of the local times of different countries is printed on this piece of fabric 5 . At the free end of the part 3b serving as a hinged cover, a resilient metal clamp 6 is provided, which in the closed position of part 3b partially closes the loop 2 encompasses.
The variant according to FIG. 2 differs from the embodiment described in that the cover layer 3 forming the hinged cover only extends from the bending point 4 to the watch case. In this case, the cover layer 3 expediently consists of the same material as the band body 1; both can also be provided with a decorative coating.
In the embodiment shown in FIG. 3, a retaining clip 7 is attached to the loop part 2 of the band body 1 . In each of the bow handles 7a, an access slot 7o opening into a conical bore 7b is provided.
The Deeklage 3 has at its free end a visual loop 3e which surrounds an insert body on its sleeve 8 . A bolt 9 (FIG. 4) which is mounted in the bush so that it can be displaced longitudinally protrudes from each of the two front ends of the sleeve 8 . A spring 10 is arranged in the bush 8 between the two bolts 9 ,
which pushes the bolts outwards. The bolts 9 have on their parts protruding from the bushing each a conical turned shoulder 9a and a rounded head 9b. Between the head 9b -Lind the shoulder 9a a recess 9e is provided, the diameter of which is smaller than the width of the access slot 7c in the bow handle 7a.
Otherwise, this embodiment corresponds to that shown in FIGS. 1 and 2. For fastening the deeklage 3 on the belt body 1 , bolts 9 are attached to their heads 9b < / B> grasped between two fingers and pressed against each other against the action of the spring 10 . The bolts 9 are then inserted with their indentations 9c through the access seat braid 7e into the bores 7b in the bow legs 7a.
After the bolt heads 9b have been released, see the bolts 9 move outwards under the action of the spring 10 . The shoulders 9a enter the bores 7b and thus lock the Deeklage 3 on the band body 1.
The band body and the Deeklage can of course be made of any material, with the part supporting the table being glued or sewn on. If the band is made of metal, the table can also be engraved.
In the case of non-metallic strips, the bending point of the deeklage is advantageously formed from a seam; in the case of metallic strips, a hinge can be used, for example. The watch strap described has the advantage that the clock and time table are close to one another, which enables the current local time to be determined quickly in the countries listed on the table at any time.
The arrangement of the table under a hinged strap section protects the same from being torn off through the wearer's sleeve while the watch is being worn and thus becoming illegible over time.
