Fig. 3 zeigt in sche matischer Darstellung den untern Teil eines gasbeheizten Durchlauferhitzers anderer Aus führung.
Gas-heated instantaneous water heater with low water protection The invention relates. relies on a gas-heated instantaneous water heater with a water deficiency protection responding to a dynamic pressure difference. Such a water shortage safety device closes. As is known, the gas supply to the burner automatically cuts off as soon as the dynamic dirt difference generated by means of a throttle point located in the cold water path, for example, disappears.
This is. the case when the warning water tap is closed, i.e. no more water flows through. The burner flames therefore only go out, taking into account an unavoidable delay in the response of the low water alarm, when no more water flows. The heat stored in the device must therefore be absorbed by the still water, which is heated in an impermissible way and tends to build up scale.
This applies in particular to instantaneous water heaters with high outlet temperatures close to the boiling point. The invention is based on the object of eliminating the after-heat phenomena that have long been recognized as being in part.
According to the invention, this happens in that the dynamic pressure difference is eliminated before the end of the closing movement of the nozzle and the water shortage safety device is activated in the sense of shutting off the gas supply before the water flow ceases.
The water shortage safety device is activated prematurely while the water is still flowing through the device, so that after the gas burner has been extinguished, a further, expediently increased water flow takes place through which the stored heat is dissipated.
The premature elimination of the dynamic pressure difference at the water shortage protection device while maintaining the water flow is possible in various ways.
plan can achieve this, for example, by providing a bypass channel that bypasses the throttle point and is connected to the vacuum chamber of the low-water safety device @, which is temporarily opened during the closing movement of the dispensing valve. When this bypass channel is opened, the underdi-lick in said chamber is eliminated and possibly even converted into overpressure.
The same goal is achieved in that a connec tion channel is provided between the back pressure chamber of the water shortage protection and the outlet of the water heater, which is temporarily opened during the closing movement of the nozzle. This removes the back pressure that is effective at the water shortage safety device, so that the water shortage safety device works. The invention is explained in more detail below using two Ausführungsbei shown in the figures.
Fig. 1 shows a schematic representation of a gas-heated instantaneous water heater designed according to the invention. Fig. 2 shows a section through the membrane switch of the What sermangelsicherung is. Fig. 3 shows a cal matic representation of the lower part of a gas-heated water heater other imple mentation.
According to Fig. 1 occurs from the designated with 1 Kaltwasserzul.auf the water in an antechamber 2, passes through a volume control valve 3 in the back pressure chamber 4 of a water shortage protection, which is controlled by a mem brane 5.
The back pressure chamber 4 is connected via a back pressure connection 6. a Venturi nozzle 7 in connection, so that the water can flow through the Venturi nozzle 7 and a line 8 to the heat exchanger 9 and from there through a tap line 10 to a tap valve 11 and to a secondary tap 12.
A negative pressure line 14 leads from the suction space of the Venturi nozzle 7 via a leaky backlash valve 13 acting as a slow ignition valve to the negative pressure chamber 15 above the membrane 5.
A bypass line 16 branches off from the pressure chamber 2 and leads to the vacuum chamber 15 via a control valve housing 17 and a line branch 1.6 ′. This bypass line 16, 16 'bypasses the throttle point located between the confluence of the line 14 and the chamber 4 as well as the Rücksehla, gventil 13 and allows
because it branches off in front of the control valve 3 in the cold water path. is, the supply of unthrottled water to the vacuum chamber 15.
In the control valve housing 17, a valve body 18 is guided. Which is pressed by a spring 19 onto a valve seat 20. The Fe of 19 is supported against the valve body of the nozzle 11. A spring 21 presses a further valve body 22 onto the body 18 and tries to press the former onto the valve seat 20 from above, but cannot close the valve 20I22 because it (21) cannot overcome the stronger spring 19.
In the illustrated closed position of the nozzle 11, the bypass line 16, 16 'is closed by the valve 18f210, so that when the tap at the 1Vebenzapfstelle 12, the water level protection can put the device in the usual way.
It does this through it. that the membrane 5 executes a stroke under the influence of the dynamic pressure difference generated by the aforementioned throttle point and a burner gas valve 24 opens against the action of a valve spring 24 'so that no more gas can flow to the burner 25. When the nozzle 11 is open, the umgeliungsleitung 16, 16 'is closed by the control valve 22120, since the spring 21 can now press the valve body 22 onto the seat 20.
Even when the nozzle 11 is open, the dy namisehe pressure required by the aforementioned throttle point is used to operate the device.
If the nozzle 11 is closed, both valve bodies 18122 are lifted by the spring 19 during the closing movement. In the intermediate positions of the dispensing valve 11, the bypass line 16, 16 ′ is open, so that the full water di-izek enters the vacuum chamber 15 from the space 2. The membrane 5 is consequently pressed downwards, which on the one hand closes the gas valve 24 immediately, and on the other hand the control valve 3 releases a greater flow rate.
When the gas burner 25 has gone out, an increased amount of water now temporarily flows until the dispensing valve 11 is completely closed and the valve body 18 is pressed onto the seat 20.
In Fig. 2, the membrane switch of the water shortage detector is shown separately. When the full water pressure occurs in the lower di-iiek chamber 15, the membrane 5 bulges sharply downward and would lie against the wall of the lower chamber (dynamic pressure chamber 4) and thereby more or less close off the opening of the supply line 6. In order to prevent such an application of the mem brane, a support member in the form of a disk 32 is provided in the Staudruckkam mer 4. The valve body of the valve 3 passes through the disk 23.
The water flow from the control valve 3 via the line 6 to the Venturi nozzle 7 can therefore take place unhindered even when the membrane 5 is pushed down.
The one in Pig. 3 exemplary embodiment shown, the cold water flows in the direction of arrow 25, passes through a throttle point 26, then, as indicated by the dash-dotted line, penetrates a radiator not shown and appears as hot water in the Za.pfleitung 27. A cold water tap valve 28 and a hot water tap valve 29 form a mixer tap, the outlet of which is indicated at 30. The membrane switch 31.
the water shortage detector is connected to the cold water line through channels 32, 33 on both sides of the throttle point 26. The membrane 31 'of the water shortage safety device is raised in a known' manner by the dynamic pressure difference occurring at the throttle point 26 and a burner gas valve, not shown, is opened by a plunger 34, which see when the pressure difference disappears under the influence of a valve spring closes itself again.
A channel 36 leads from the back pressure chamber 35 of the membrane switch 31 to the dispensing line 27, and specifically this channel 36 opens out close above the valve seat of the dispensing valve 29.
The mouth of the channel 36 located at this seat is dominated by a tubular slide 37, which is attached to the spindle 38 of the nozzle 29 via webs 37 '. When the tap valve 29 is open, the slide 37 closes the mouth of the channel 36 without hindering the outflow of hot water from the tap line 27. As a result, the pressure difference which actuates the membrane switch 31 in the opening sense can develop.
During the 'of the dispensing valve 29, the slide 37 opens the mouth of the channel 36 facing it, so that the back pressure of the chamber 35 can equalize via the channel 36. The pressure difference effective at the membrane switch 31 therefore already disappears before the water flow through the nozzle 29 is shut off.
The gas burner therefore goes out before the end of the closing movement of the nozzle 29, so that when the burner goes out, water still flows through the device and absorbs the stored heat from the radiator. The flow of water is only ended when the valve body of the nozzle 29 has reached its seat.
