Granuliervorrichtung

Granulating device
The present invention relates to a granulating device with a Sclineeken press, the conveying and pressing screw of which is rotatably mounted in a cylindrical housing, from the ends of which the screw shaft protrudes and which is provided with a feed funnel at one end.
According to the invention, this grating device is characterized by the fact that part of the cylindrical wall of the tendon housing has a sieve-like hole, and that on the end of the screw shaft facing away from the feed hopper there is arranged a stripping device which can rotate around the housing and is intended to remove the to scrape away substance pressed by the conveying and pressing screw through the hole in the screw housing from the circumferential surface of the perforated wall part of the housing.
Four exemplary embodiments of the subject of the invention are illustrated on the accompanying drawing.
Fig. L is a longitudinal section through a granulating device according to the first embodiment.
FIG. 2 is a cross section along the line TI-II in FIG. 1.
Fig. 3 is a longitudinal section through a Gra nuliervorriehtung near the second embodiment.
FIG. 4 is a transverse view of the line IV-IV in FIG. 3.
5 is a longitudinal section through a granulating device according to the third embodiment.
FIG. 6 is a cross section along the line VI-VI in FIG. 5.
7 is a longitudinal section through part of a granulating device according to the fourth embodiment, and FIG
FIG. 8 is a side view in the direction of arrow VIII in FIG. 7.
The granulating device according to FIGS. 1 and 2 consists of a screw press with a cylindrical housing 1 in which a conveying and pressing screw 3 is arranged, which has a left-hand and a right-hand tendon wing 4 and 5, respectively. The worm shaft itself protrudes with its two ends from the housing I, which is provided with a feed line 2 at one end. The cylindrical wall of the tendon housing is provided with a sieve-like perforation over a large part of its length.
On the end of the worm shaft facing away from the feed stretcher 2 and protruding from the housing 1, there is a knife carrier 6, which has a discharge arm extending towards the hopper 2, on which a scraper 7 is attached.
When the device is in operation, the screw 3 rotates in the direction of rotation indicated by an arrow. The material fed through the funnel 2 is captured by the cutting blade 4 and conveyed in the direction of the end of the housing 1 facing away from the funnel 2. Due to the fact that the tendon wing 5 runs in the opposite direction than the tendon wing 4, the material to be granulated is stowed in the area of the perforated cylinder wall of the housing 1 and it is pushed through this perforation.
The scraper 7 itself rotates around the housing 1 in the direction of the arrow in FIG. 2 and scrapes away the pressed material from the circumferential surface of the perforated cylinder wall of the housing, whereby the same is converted into the granular state. The two Schneeken wings 4 and 5 are curved in cross section, as shown in FIG. 2 for the wing 4. This creates a wedge-shaped space in each cross-section between the housing 1 and the wings 4 and 5, which facilitates the pressing of the material through the perforation 1a.
In the granulating device according to FIGS. 3 and 4, only the end part of the cylinder wall facing away from the feed hopper 2: of the Schneeken housing 1 is provided with a sieve-like perforation la. Accordingly, the discharge arm of the knife carrier 6 carrying the scraper 7 is shorter than in the exemplary embodiment according to FIGS. 1 and 2. Furthermore, in the granulating device according to FIGS but only extends to the perforation la.
In the area of this perforation 1a, the worm shaft 3 is provided with essentially axially parallel blades 8, which are also bent again in cross section, as shown in FIG.
Otherwise, this granulating device works. similar to that according to FIGS. 1 and 2.
The granulating device according to FIGS. 5 and 4 differs from that according to FIGS. 3 and 4 essentially in that the knife carrier 6 has two discharge arms 6, each with a doctor knife 7, lying in the same axial plane. Furthermore, the worm shaft 3 is provided here in the area of the perforated cylinder wall of the worm housing 1, which is formed by a removable housing part 1b, with a cylindrical head piece 11 pushed onto it, which is provided with helically extending grooves 12, which in cross section V -shaped, as can be seen from FIG. 6, This granulating device is particularly suitable for granulating viscoplastic substances, such as. B. Thermoplastics.
which again, under the delivery pressure of the Schneeke 1, 4, are pushed through the perforated housing part lb and scraped away from the peripheral surface of this housing part by the scraper blades 7.
The granulating device according to FIGS. 7 and 8 differs from that according to FIGS. 5 and 6 in that it has knife rollers 18 which rotate about their own axis. For this purpose, they are rotatably mounted in the carrier 16 specially designed for this purpose. On the side facing the feed hopper, the roller axles protrude with an extension part through the carrier 16 and each carry a drive pinion 17 there.
On the other hand, a fixedly mounted ring 15 with an internal toothed ring is provided on the screw housing part 1b, with which the pinions 17 of the two knife rollers mesh so that the latter perform a planetary movement around the axis of the screw press when the granulating device is in operation, similar to the other exemplary embodiments, which strip the material pressed through the perforated wall of the relevant housing part from the circumferential surface of this housing part.
The advantage of the rotating knife rollers is that they throw away plastic material that tends to stick after being separated from the perforated housing part and the granulate particles have no way of sticking together.
In all of the embodiments described, all the features of the claim are present.
