Process for the preparation of an agent for combating textile pests It has been found that haloalkyl and haloarylsulfonic acid amides of amines which have a several carbocyclic six rings, e.g. B. benzene nuclei containing .Rest, for the control of textile pests and mold and bacteria infestation are well suited. In the polynuclear amines, from which the amides are derived, the six-membered rings can e.g.
B. directly or via intermediate links, such as U, S, SO, S02, CHz, -CH = CH-, CO., @ T = i \ - and the like, be connected or condensed. They expediently contain halogen atoms.
The present invention is. thus a process for the production of an agent for combating textile damage, mold and bacterial infestation by adding an active ingredient to a carrier, which is characterized in that the active ingredient is a haloalkyl derived from an amide containing several carbo-eyclisehe six-membered rings - or haloarylstilphonic acid amide or a salt of such an amide is used.
Well-suited active ingredients are example. Chlormethanesulfoarylamide from 3, 5 or even more chlorine atoms ent containing aminodiphenyls, aminodiphenyl ethers, aminodiphenylsulfones, aminoazobenzenes, naphthylamines and the like;
fer ner analog Chloräthansulfo-, TrichlorÜthansulfo-, Chlorbenzolsulfo-, Dichlorbenzolsulfo-, Triehlorbenzolsizlfoarylamide and the like, as well as further substituted in the sulfamide group, z. B. by the trichloroacetyl radical or an aryl sulfonic acid radical, halogen alkyl or halogen aryl sulfonic acid amides. Also compounds with several halogen sulfonamide groups, such as.
B. chlorinated N, N'-bis (chloromethanesulfonyl) -benzidine, -diphenylin, -tolidine or -dianisidine can be used.
Compared to the known haloalkyl and halo arylsulfonic acid arylamides, the polynuclear compounds are distinguished in particular by an increased affinity for animal fibers, improved washfastness and, in some cases, increased effectiveness against textile pests. The carriers which are customary for such purposes can be used Sulphonamides, for example, can be dissolved in organic solvents such as those used for chemical washing; for the textile industry, water-soluble salts can be dispersed in an aqueous liquor, e.
B. in soap and fulling liquors or dye baths; The sulphonamides can be mixed with powdered carriers for the lautering of furs with skins. Example 1 A treatment bath is produced by dissolving 1 g of the sodium salt of chloromethanesulfonic acid tetrachloro-4-plieny 1-anilide per liter of water.
If you treat products made of wool or wool-mix spun in this bath, remove the excess liquid and dry it, the material (including fur or fur) is protected from being eaten by textile pests even after repeated washing Because of the fungicidal and bactericidal effect of the compound applied, it also provides protection against bacteria and mold.
The active ingredient can be obtained in the following way: 4-Amino-diphenyl is reacted with chloromethyl sulfochloride and the chloromethanesulfonic acid 4-phenyl anilide obtained is reacted in o-dichlorobenzene in the presence.
catalytic amounts of iron chlorinated by introducing chlorine at temperatures up to 42. The product contains 47.8% Cl and 7.2% S. Similar effects are obtained with products with varying chlorine content, for example those with a total of 6 or more atoms of chlorine.
The chlorine derivative with 42.25 / o Cl obtained by chlorinating 2-chloromethanesulfonamido-diphenyl (melting point 81) is just as effective as the one described above. Mixtures of chlorinated derivatives behave in the same way.
which were made from technical 2- and 4-amino diphenyigemischen. A similarly effective chlorinated amino-hexahydrodiphepy derivative is obtained by chlorination of 4-chloromethanesulfoiiamido-hexahydro-dipheny 1 (melting point 114) in glacial acetic acid. It contains 37.3% Cl.
Example.29 0.3 to 1% chloromethanesulfonic acid 2- (2'-chlorophenoxy) - 3.5- is dissolved in a solvent commonly used in chemical laundry. diehloranilid. Products made from wool or mixed wool spun yarns cleaned with it, as well as fur or fur, are protected against destruction by textile pests.
Example 3 0.5 to 1 g / 1 N, N'-bis- (chloromethanesulfo- iiyl) -tetrahlobenzidine are dissolved as sodium salt in washing and fulling liquors such as are customary in the textile industry . The treatment of textiles made of wool or wool mix webs can be carried out as usual. Once finished, the material is protected from being eaten by textile damage.
Example 0.3 to 1 g / l of chloromethanesulfonic acid tetrachloro-4-phenyl anilide from Example 1 is added as the triethanolamine salt to dyebaths of acidic or neutral wool or semi-wool dyes. The material dyed with this liquor is protected against being eaten by textile pests after completion.
Example 5 Chloromethanesulfonic acid-tetrachloro-4-phenyl-anilide of Example 1 is converted to a suitable inert material, eg. B. sand, wood flour, talc and the like, applied and this mixture to set the lauter flour for furs and skins. The pelts and pelts that have been purified with the addition of the named active ingredient (about 20/0) are protected against damage by keratin eater after completion.
Example Dissolves in common organic solvents. 1 to 2% chloromethanesulfonic acid 3- (4'-ehlor-pheny lsulfony 1)
- 6 -chlor - anilide or chloromethanesulphonic acid - 4 - phenylazo - anilide or 1-chloromethane-sulphonamido-naphthalene derivatives. Wool or wool mix webs or fur or fur that are with. this solution were cleaned, are protected against destruction by textile pests.
