Fanless device for the combustion of heavy oil. The present invention relates to a fanless device for the combustion of heavy fuel oil, which device has a bowl burner which z. B. can be installed in a free-standing room stove or in the oven of a hot air heater.
The invention exists. The fact that the bowl burner has a combustion chamber and below it a removable burner base, in which an exchangeable residue collector rests, forming the evaporation bowl, above which a radiation and flow guide plate is arranged at a distance, under which an inclined inwardly downwardly directed firing nozzle empties over the residue collector, which mare,
zen, is connected to the oil line coming from the oil tank, whereby a safety line in the form of an air line ends in the residue collector, which connects to the top of the airtight tank, its oil filler and its oil drainage from paths that are inevitably controlled against each other be controlled, the whole thing like this, <when the fuel oil rises in the residue collector above a certain level, e.g.
B, when the fire goes out, through the oil in the residue collector the air line there. is closed and as a result the oil flow to the bowl burner is interrupted due to the lack of air supply to the tank.
On the accompanying drawing is. the subject matter of the invention is shown in an exemplary embodiment, namely: Fig. 1 shows the bowl burner of this Ausfüh approximately form in vertical section, Fig. 2 the same in plan view with wegge upper part, while Fig. 3 shows the oil tank in the vertical section.
the taps of the oil filler neck and the oil drainage, which are inevitably controlled with one another, are illustrated ..
The bowl burner shown is. designed round or cylindrical and has a combustion chamber, in the shell 1 air holes 2 arranged. supply the combustion air. This jacket 1 sits on a conical piece 3, on which a burner sole 4 detachable, for. B. with not shown clamping lock, is attached. An exchangeable residue collector 5, which forms the evaporation tray and consists of a thin-walled metal pot, rests in this burner base 4.
A few centimeters above the residue collector 5 is a radiation and flow guide plate 6, which favors the evaporation of the residue collector 5 reaching fuel oil. Under the plate 6, which has the shape of a truncated cone, one end of a firing nozzle 7, which is directed obliquely downward from the outside to the inside, opens via the residue collector 5. The other end is closed with a cover 8.
The oil line 10 coming from the oil tank and an opening 11, which is effective in the event that the outlet opening of the connecting piece 7 is blocked, as the oil flowing into the residue collector 5 with it, open into this fire nozzle 7 can flow. In the latter ends a safety line in the form of an air line 12, which in turn is connected to the top of the air-tight oil tank 9.
On the upper inner edge of the intermediate piece 3 rests a frustoconical guide ring 13 for the gases flowing into the combustion chamber, which bounces upward in the combustion chamber mentioned above. The jacket 1 is screwed tightly in the heating cylinder 14 by means of a flange 15 and has a cast ring 16 at the top. A sheet metal ring 18 rests in the jacket 1 on a bead 17 at a distance below this.
The parts 16 and 18 form between them a ring rim 19 for secondary air, which the latter can enter through holes 20 of the shell 1 in the sen space. The primary air reaches ge through a turntable 21 adjustable face openings 22 and holes 23 in the combustion chamber and burner base.
The hermetically sealed oil tank 9 has a filler neck 24 controlled by the tap 25 and provided with a cover. A cock 26 for the oil line 10 is also provided. The two taps 25, 26 who controlled by a lever and linkage 27, 28 and hand lever 29 inevitably mitein other in opposite directions. If z. B. one tap closes, the other opens and vice versa.
As can be seen in FIG. 3, the cock 25 is shown in the open position, while the cock 26 is shown in the closed position.
If the cocks are reversed, then with the cock 25 closed, oil will flow through the cock 26 into the firing nozzle 7 and from there into the residue collector 5, which oil in the firing nozzle can be ignited in a known manner. The air reaching the top of the tank through the air line 12 ensures that the heavy oil flows evenly to the burner.
The radiation and flow guide plate 6 is heated and favors the evaporation of the oil reaching the residue collector 5, and also radiates. they heat up. The heating cylinder 14 emits its heat to the oven housing (not shown) that surrounds it and thereby to the room. If the opening of the firing nozzle 7 should become blocked, the heavy oil can flow through the passage opening 11 into the residue collector 5.
The latter is not cleaned, but replaced by a new residue collector when it is dirty.
In the event that the fire goes out unintentionally or the oil flows too quickly to the burner, the level of the oil in the residue collector 5 rises until the air line 12 is closed there. At this moment, no more air can reach the oil tank 9, so that no oil can subsequently flow out of this.
