Process for manufacturing a textile product, circular knitting machine for carrying out the process and product obtained by the process. The present invention relates to a method for producing a textile product, a circular knitting machine for executing the method and a product obtained by the method.
The method according to the invention is characterized by the fact that two opposite layers of goods are knitted and the stitches of the two layers along rows of stitches arranged at a distance from each other and wales are knitted together, whereby a plurality of only connected to one another at the edges 'Tabs with opposing surfaces are formed from knitted fabric.
The circular knitting machine according to the invention, which is equipped with cylinder needles and rib needles as well as yarn feed means for the simultaneous knitting of two layers of goods.
is characterized by the fact that means are provided for supplying additional yarn as an insert between the two layers of knitted goods in a parallel arrangement to their rows of stitches, which means have a yarn guide which feeds the yarn across the cylinder needles so that it passes through certain cylinder needles is detected as soon as these and certain dial needles are actuated at the same time.
I) as the textile product according to the invention is characterized by two opposite layers of Strielzuware, which are rows along spaced meshes and wales are knitted together so that a plurality of pockets is formed.
1 is a schematic, enlarged view of the circled point E in FIG. 3 of an embodiment of the textile product according to the invention.
Add. Fig. 2 is a section along line 3-3 of Fig. 1, but the courses are crowded together.
Fig. 3 is a partial view of the Ausfüh approximately example of the goods according to the invention, wherein a layer is partially folded over to make the intermediate yarn visible.
Fig. 4 is a perspective partial view of a circular knitting machine, which figure illustrates the actuation of a cylinder needle and some dial needles for knitting an intermediate yarn along the courses and the feeding of this yarn.
FIG. 5 is a partial view of FIG. 4, which illustrates the intermediate yarn grasped by a cylinder needle.
The composite knitted fabric 10 according to FIG. 3 consists of the two layers 12 and 14, between which a plurality of yarns 16 are arranged. The yarn 16 is expediently relatively soft and stretchable and preferably thicker than the knitting yarn for the outer layers. It expediently has little or no twist.
The inserted yarns 16 lie in the direction of the rows of stitches between the outer layers 12 and 14, that is, transversely to the wales. The layers 12 and 14 are knitted along the rows of stitches 18 spaced apart from one another by a few rows of stitches and along the double sticks 20 spaced apart from one another by a few rows of stitches, thereby forming the pockets 22. It can be seen from this that the pockets 22 each edge on two sides 24 are bounded by parts of the courses 18 and on two side edges 26 at right angles to the edges \? 4- by parts of the wales 20.
The inter mediate yarns 16 each lie between a number of stitches of the layers 12 and 14, and each yarn is knitted at intervals with the 14 tabs of the two layers. For the sake of simplicity, the layer 12 will hereinafter be referred to as the outer layer and the layer 14 as the inner layer.
It is readily understandable that if the ZVare is produced on a circular knitting machine with cylinder needles and dial needles, a tubular product is obtained in which the layers are separated, with the exception of those points at which the dial and cylinder needles are simultaneously are operated for the purpose of knitting double needle stitches with dial needle stitches.
If a flat product is required, the fabric can be cut open, or the product can be made on a flat knitting machine with two needle beds.
As can be seen from Fig. 1 and 2, the outer layer 12 of the textile product is mainly made up of meshes 28, the inner layer of meshes 30. The layers 12 and 14 are held together at certain intervals across the entire goods one stitch 32 of the layer 12 is knitted with a stitch 34 of the layer 14 (FIG. 1). By pulling a loop of the layer 12 through a loop of the layer 14, the two layers 12 and 14 are connected at certain intervals by the loops 32, as shown in FIG.
Through this entanglement of the layers 12 and 14 along the fabric lines 18 by means of the Ma lehen 32, the edges \ '4 of the pockets 22 are formed. In addition, the yarn 16 is knitted with the layers 1.2 and 1.4 along the Masehenstäbehen 20 , whereby the edges 26 of the pockets 22 arise (Fig. 1-3).
Uni to interweave the outer layer 12, the inner layer 14 and the yarn 16, a mesh 40 of the intermediate yarn 1.6 is knitted with a mesh 36 of the outer layer 12 and a stitch 38 of the inner layer 14, as shown in FIG. 1 shown.
It can be seen that the interweaving of the Malehen 36, 38 and 40 connects the two La, eii of the goods and these loops form part of the two layers. It can also be seen that by interweaving the yarn 16 with. the layers 12 and 14, the edges 26 of the pockets 22 are obtained at certain intervals.
The pockets 22 are therefore all limited. through the rows of stitches 18 (edges 24) and the yardstick 20 (edges 26) -and have opposite walls made of knitted fabric that are only connected to one another at the edges. That between the layers 12 and 14 or the walls of the pockets \? \? is located yarn 16. Secured against displacement in the longitudinal direction by the interweaving of the mesh wales 20.
Threads of any kind, for example made of wool, cotton, rayon, nylon, etc., or yarns combined from these materials can be used as the knitting around the layers 12 and 14 and as the intermediate yarn 16. The pockets 22 can be inflated by increasing the tension of the intermediate yarn 16 versus the tension of the yarn for the layers 12 and 14, thereby increasing the air content of the pockets and reducing the conductivity of the textile product without increasing its weight.
The textile product described is very elastic, both in the vertical and in the horizontal direction, the degree of elasticity achieved being dependent on the type of yarn used. With a lower weight and volume compared to other knitted fabrics, the knitted fabric can have the same elasticity as a heavier and denser knitted fabric for a certain insulating capacity.
The method described can be carried out on a conventional circular knitting machine with minor changes which are described below.
In the circular knitting machine 11 according to FIG. 4, the layer 12 is knitted by the cylinder needles 44 and the layer 14 by the dial needles 46, except when the two layers are intertwined, the dial needles 46 do not work when actuating the cylinder needles 44 and when actuated the dial needles 46 expose the cylinder needles 44.
The interweaving of the layers 12 and 14 in the courses 18 is achieved by simultaneous actuation of the cylinder needles 44 and dial needles 46, the intermediate yarn 16 being fed to both the cylinder needles and the dial needles in the knitting layer. The cylinder 48 is fixed, while the drive cam, not shown, of the needles 44 and the associated thread guide rotate.
The interweaving of the layers 12 and 14 and the yarn 16 in the wale 20 is carried out by special actuation of cylindrical needles 52 which are located at a distance from one another and which grasp the yarn fed to the dial needles opposite. In this way, the layers 12 and 14 are periodically perforated. This entanglement along the stitches 20 can, for. B. by separate He ben and lowering the cylinder needles 52 during the rotation of the cam ring, which raises and lowers the cylinder needles all in common, it will be enough.
But preferably Zy soothing needles 52 are used, which have shorter shafts than the other cylinder needles 44, where in the latter cams (not shown) are operated by the usual knitting, while the needles 52 operated at the right time by a separate Stricknoeke or by a pattern wheel will. The ribbed disk 56 is adjusted with respect to the cylinder 48 in such a way that the layers 12 and 14 that are created have a sufficient distance for the introduction of the yarn 16.
To feed the intermediate yarn 16, a guide 54, consisting of a tube 58, is arranged transversely to the cylinder needles 44, the output end 60 of which is located next to one of the needles 44 Zy. The tube 58 is at 64 on the support 62 about a parallel axis to the Zylin dernadeln 44 rotatably mounted on it, with a spring 66 attached to the support 62 on the one hand and on the pipe 58 on the other hand, the output end 60 in a position next to the cylinder needles holds. The rotating Fa denführung 50 supplies the yarn to form the layers 1.2 and 14 and the guide 54 the intermediate yarn 16 for inserting between the two layers mentioned. It is therefore in the circular knitting machine shown (Fig. 4), the guide for the yarn 16 is fixedly arranged on the cylinder 48 Zy.
Of course, several guides 54 are provided for an intermediate yarn 16 if several yarns 16 are to be placed between tween two adjacent courses.
The whole work of inserting the yarn 16 between the layers 12 and 14 and interlacing the layers with one another and with the yarn 16 is carried out on the knitting machine 11 in a single operation. A composite textile product with excellent properties is thus produced relatively cheaply. Both the extent and the direction of elasticity can be varied by the number of yarns or the type of knitwear.
By using cotton for layers 12 and 14 and wool for yarn 16, it is possible to obtain a composite knitwear which is particularly suitable for undergarments, as people who are allergic to wool in direct contact with the skin can also Cotton well tolerated.
If desired, a metallic yarn or a wire can be inserted between the layers 12 and 14 as an electrical heating element together with non-metallic yarn. Clothes made from such a product can be heated by dry batteries, which can be inserted into the clothes pockets. It will usually be sufficient to insert a wire between two adjacent rows of stitches, in addition to one or more non-metal threads. Appropriately, a thin insulated wire is used, which does not affect the elasticity, foldability and pliability of the textile product.
