represents where Z is a first class substituent, which substituent has a heteratom attached directly to the carbon in the triazine ring.
As is known, first class substituents are those substituents in an aromatic ring which facilitate further substitution of the aromatic nucleus. Such substituents are halogens, oxy groups, amino groups, hydrocarbon radicals and others. According to the invention, only the first class substituents containing a fleter atom are suitable for Z, such as, for. B.
Chlorine, oxy groups and amino groups, which may optionally be substituted by alkyl, oxalky l or aryl radicals. The free valence chain in radical 1 can be connected to a hydrogen atom, to the acyl radical of a lower fatty acid, to a lower alkyl group, to an aryl group or to a radical which corresponds to radical II represented by Y. The compounds mentioned are available in various ways: You can z.
B. the condensation product of 1 mole of diamino stilbene disulfonic acid, 2 moles of cyanuric chloride and 1 mole of alkyl or arylamine with 1/2 mole or 1 mole of p-aminobenzoyl-p-phenylenediaminesulfonic acid or with 1 mole of p-aminobenzoyl-acet- p- convert phenylenediamine sulfonic acid.
If the chlorine in the triazine rings is to be replaced by the hydroxyl group, it is boiled away

one the reaction product with aqueous alkali, z. B. with soda .. You can also let ammonia or primary or secondary amines act on the reaction product and in this way replace chlorine in the triazine rings with the corresponding amino radicals. If the condensation product mentioned is reacted with 1/2 mole of p-aminobenzoyl-p-phenylenediaminesulfonic acid, compounds are obtainable which contain the diaminostilbenedisulfonic acid group twice in the molecule.
If the condensation product mentioned is reacted with 1 mole of p-aminobenzoyl-p-phenylenediaminesulfonic acid, an organic acid residue can be introduced into the free amino group by treatment with an acylating agent, chlorine present in the triazine rings before or after the acylation of the amino group by treatment with ammonia , Amines or soda can be removed.
The optical bleaching agents proposed according to the invention can be used in the customary manner, expediently by treating the substances to be bleached with aqueous solutions which contain the bleaching agents. The bleaches can also be incorporated into detergents or added to the washing liquors.
The proposed optical bleaching agents are used to increase the whiteness of uncolored fabrics of all kinds, especially laundry and clothing, ordinary paper and special paper, such as. B. photographic paper, straw for hats, leather, woods, soaps, etc., even with colored material, the optical bleaching agents have a beneficial effect as with. With their help, a clearer and livelier shade can be achieved in many cases.
Compared to the known optical bleaching agents, the agents according to the present invention are distinguished above all by the fact that the bleaching effects achieved with them are extremely washable and in many cases even boil-resistant. Example 1: Cotton pieces of laundry are treated for 15 minutes at 40 in a ratio of 1:
20 treated with a liquor containing 0.04 g of the sodium salt of the reaction product, which is obtained by reacting 1 Mo1. 4- [(2-chloro-4-phen. # - lamino-1,3,5-triazyl- (6)] - 4 '- [2,4-diclilor-1,3,5-triazyl- (6) ] - diaminostilbene-2,2'-disulfoilic acid with 1 mol of 4- (4'-aminobenzoylamino) -3 - sulfo - aeetanilide and subsequent carbonization with aqueous ammonia was obtained, in the liter, followed by rinsing and drying.
The goods received shows. a higher whiteness than before the treatment, which is still required even after several usual boil washes.
Example If, instead of the compound named in Example 1, for the treatment of the cotton Wäsehestiieke, the reaction product is used, which is obtained by reacting 231o1,4 [2-chloro-4-phenylamino-1,3,5-triazyl- (6) j -4- '[2,4-dichloro -1,3,5-triazyl- (6)] - diaminostilbene-2,2'-disulfonic acid and 1 mole 4- (4'-aminobenzoyl-amino) -2-sulfo- aniline and subsequent boiling of the condensation product with ammonia was obtained,
in this way one achieves a lightening effect that is practically boil-proof. A brightening effect that is also stable is obtained when the reaction product is used, which is obtained by reacting 2 moles of 4- [2-chloro-4-anisylamino-1,3,5-triazy 1- (6)] - 4 ' - [2,4-diehlor-1,3,5-triazyl- (6)] - diaminostilbeii-2,2'-disulfonic acid and 1 mol of 4- (i'-aminobenzoylamiilo)
2-sulfo-aniline and subsequent condensation of the condensation product with ammonia was obtained.
Example 3: In conventional paper preparation, 0.1 to 1% of the reaction product is added to the sulphite pulp in the Hollander. This product is obtained by reacting 1 mol of 4- [2-Cliloi # -4-plienyl-amino -1,3,5 -tr iazyl - (6)] - 4'- [2,4-dicliloi - 1,3,5triazyl .- (6)] - diamino-stilbene 2,2'-disilfonic acid with 1 mol of 4- (4'-aminobenzoylamino) -3-sulfo aniline and subsequent boiling with aqueous ammonia was obtained.
