Method for regulating the fuel supply in internal combustion engines charged by exhaust gas turbines with fuel injection and control device for carrying out the method. 1)
The invention relates to a method for the fuel supply in internal combustion engines charged by exhaust gas turbines with fuel injection and a re-.guide for carrying out the process.
In burners with fuel injection, the supercharger is also driven by an exhaust turbine.
1) iv voti this exhaust gas turbo blower delivered 1, iiftiiieii "#e is dependent on the amount of exhaust gas sti-8- iaeiiden by the turbine, which again not only depends on the speed of the engine,
but depends on the amount of fuel delivered to your engine. -eIT e- U-:
If an engine with an exhaust gas turbo fan operates at part load, (ie with a smaller fuel quantity than the one it receives at full load, then the combustion iiiiii1 "-SILiftiiieti # - e supplied by the fan is smaller than at full fuel and the same engine speed.
If the full amount of fuel is suddenly fed to an engine running at partial load, it dates a certain time until the exhaust gas, through the now increasing exhaust gas amount, reaches a higher speed and this load is at a steady state supplies the corresponding amount of air.
This deficit means that the engine gets less air than in the steady state of the fan with this amount of fuel in this time before the increase in the amount of fuel until the fan speed corresponding to the larger amount of fuel is reached.
The full-load fuel quantity is set so firmly in the case of internal combustion engines with supercharging that the machine works on the smoke limit in order to get a high level of performance. Then, when there is a sudden transition from partial load to full load, the roughness limit is exceeded for a short time, which results in an undesirable, dark cloud of smoke in the exhaust gases.
The aim of the invention is to prevent this rough cloud that occurs when there is a sudden transition to full fuel in internal combustion engines with exhaust gas turbocharging.
This is achieved in those internal combustion engines with fuel injection according to the method according to the invention that the fuel supply is increased automatically and with inhibition to the set full load amount in the event of a sudden setting to full load. 7weekinissigerweise the sudden setting of the fuel supply to full load is opposed to a large inhibition, the slow setting to full load and the return to part load only slight inhibition.
If the fuel supply is suddenly set to full load, the inhibition can take place by delaying the actuation of the fuel injection belt caused thereby.
A control device is used to carry out this method according to the invention, in which a hydraulic inhibiting device and a resilient intermediate member which delay the movement of the control rod of the fuel injection pump are provided between the fuel quantity setting lever and the hydraulic inhibiting device.
The accompanying drawing shows an example embodiment of a control device which is used to carry out the method according to the invention, namely ZD show:
FIG. 1 shows the scheme of a fuel control system, FIG. 2 shows a hydraulic inhibiting device which results when the essential component of the control device according to the invention is arranged on the injection pump, and FIG B> 3 an embodiment of the hydraulic locking device on the injection pump, in which the control rod does not come into contact with the operating fluid in the housing of the locking device.
In FIG. 1, a fuel quantity setting lever 1, e.g. 13, which can be actuated by hand or foot, is the foot lever of a diesel motor vehicle , connected to a lever 2 by a resilient connecting link, which consists of rod 3 a stop 4 attached to this rod and a spring 5 . The rod 3 is attached to the lever 1 in an articulated manner, while the lever 9- is only guided loosely on the rod 3 and is pressed by the spring 5 against the stop 4 on the rod 3 .
When the lever 1 is pressed down to increase the fuel quantity, this resilient intermediate element is initially still, namely as long as the resistance of the linkage to the injection pump is less than the pretensioning force of the spring 5 , rigid.
If, however, the adjustment resistance of the linkage to the injection pump is greater than the pretensioning force of the spring 5 , then the lever 1 can be pressed down without the lever 12 following, with then only an adjusting force is exerted on the lever 2.
The lever 2 is rigidly connected to the levers 7 and 8 via the shaft 6 . The lever 7 leads to the control rod or to the re-regulator of the injection pump and the lever 8 for the hydraulic locking device "ordering from a piston 9 one Cylinder 10 a back pressure valve 11 and a housing 12.
The housing 12 and the cylinder used in it are filled with liquid up to a level below the upper housing absehlusswandung, which in the steady state is the same inside and outside the cylinder because the cylinder in different hell is provided with the communication of the fluid allowing openings.
If the fuel quantity setting lever 1 is depressed to zero, its movement is first activated via the spring 5 on the lever 2 and via the shaft 6 </ B> on the levers. 7 and 8 transmitted. The piston 9 moves downwards without noticeable resistance, because the liquid located under the piston in the cylinder can escape quickly enough through bores 13 in the Z-valve without great pressure . The backlash valve 1.1 is closed.
If the fuel quantity adjustment lever 1 is depressed so far that the piston 9 closes the bores 13 in the cylinder, then one is triggered Inhibition to become effective because, when the piston 9 is pressed down further, the liquid only passes through the - relatively small with respect to the bores 13 - Opening 14 in the piston can flow out.
If the fuel quantity setting lever 1 is now pressed down quickly after the piston 9 has already closed the bores 13 in the cylinder, then the piston 9 does not follow this movement so quickly, and the spring 5 is compressed. Through the size of the opening 14 in the piston or the play of the piston 9 in the cylinder 10 , the time that the piston 9 </ B > needs to take the position corresponding to the position of the lever 1 .
The quick adjustment of the lever 1- is transformed from a certain position into a slow adjustment of the injection pump. When the lever 1 is used, the piston 9 goes up without any significant resistance because the check valve 11 opens.
The control unit can be structurally simplified if the hydraulic locking device is attached to the injection pump, and the function of the piston is assigned to the control rod.
In FIG. 2, such a simplified design of the hydraulic inhibiting device is shown schematically, and the parts of FIG. 2 corresponding to the parts of the control device shown in FIG. 1 are given the same reference numerals Mistake.
The control rod of the injection pump is designed as a piston; The piston control rod 9 corresponds to the piston 9 in FIG. 1. Here, too, the hydraulic locking device has: the cylinder of the 10 , the non-return valve 11, the housing 12, the, bores 13 in the cylinder 10; of the small, opening in the piston 9 of FIG. 1 corresponds to the opening 14 in the cylinder 10 of FIG. 2.
In this arrangement, a connection channel 15 to the fuel chamber of the E injection pump is provided. Housing 12 and cylinder 10 of the hydraulic Hemmvorriehtung are filled with liquid, specifically with diesel fuel, which is supplied via the channel 15 of the Injection pump flows.
The inhibiting effect of this arrangement begins when the full-load fuel quantity is suddenly set by moving the piston control rod 9 to the right at the moment the piston control rod 9 closes the bores 13 . The fuel enclosed in the cylinder 10 can then flow out through the opening 14 in the cylinder base, which is precisely dimensioned and is smaller in relation to the bores 13.
When the control rod is withdrawn to the left, the backlash valve 11 opens, whereby no inhibition is exerted on the piston control rod 9 . The Fig. 3 shows another embodiment of the inhibiting device on the injection pump, which compared to the embodiment of the invention shown in Fig. 2 has the advantage that the control rod with the liquid, for. B. the diesel fuel does not come into contact in the housing of the hydraulic braking device's rule.
As a result, the possibly possible penetration of leech oil along the control rod in the construction according to FIG. 2 in the construction according to FIG. 3 is avoided.
In the arrangement according to FIG. 3, the cylinder 10 of the hydraulic inhibiting device is actuated by the movement of the fuel quantity adjusting lever 1 or the rule rod 17 on the piston 9 of the hydraulic Hemmvorriehtung transferring bending skin 16 completed.
The control rod 17 of the injection pump is shifted to the right when it is set to a larger amount of fuel and, from a certain position, presses on the piston 9 via the interposed flexible skin 16 . The piston 9 slides in the cylinder of the 10 and, after covering the bores 13 , must be in the cylinder 10 </ B > Press out the liquid contained in the cylinder through the narrow opening 14 in the piston. A spring 20 is arranged between piston 9 and check valve 11 , which returns the piston 9 after the control rod 17 has returned pushes into the starting position.
The bore 18 in the cylinder 10 leads from the space between the flexural skin 16 and the piston 9 to the space between the cylinder < B> 10 and the outer housing 1.2 and effects the pressure compensation of these in the rooms. A line 19 leads from the housing 12 of the hydraulic inhibiting device to the fuel chamber of the injection pump, through which the interior of the housing 12 is filled with fuel. Only the space to the right of the flexible skin inside the housing 12 is filled with liquid (fuel), while the space to the left of the flexible skin is connected to the outside air through a bore.
