Ventil.
Valve. The invention relates to a valve with a rising spindle and a non-rotating sealing piston.
Of the known valves of this type, the simplest is the one in which a tubular upper part housing is screwed into the valve housing with a hemp seal or the like, the spindle is rotatable but cannot be attached, with a stuffing box with graphite packing or the like is provided, and -below a cylindrical Bohrrmg for the likewise cylindrical sealing piston.
has, where the latter is secured against rotation in that a lateral projection obtained by partially milling off a collar engages this sealing piston in a longitudinal slot milled out of the upper part housing.
The invention aims to simplify and reduce the cost of valves of the type mentioned at the beginning. This is achieved in that the guide line for the sealing piston is formed by an inner surface of the valve housing. E in the upper part housing is therefore no longer available. There is therefore no need to seal such a housing against the valve housing.
In an exemplary embodiment of the valve according to the invention, the guide surface of the valve housing and the corresponding mating surface of the sealing piston are prismatic surfaces for the purpose of securing the sealing piston against rotation. The guide surface of the valve housing can be obtained, for example, by clearing out the valve housing or by pressing in or soldering in a piece of drawn pipe with the appropriate internal cross-section. Such a pipe section forms part of the valve housing, since it is firmly and permanently connected to the cast part of the same.
The accompanying drawing represents an exemplary embodiment of the invention. The only figure is a longitudinal section of the valve.
The valve shown has a one-piece valve housing 1 with a T-shaped cavity. At the bottom of the vertically extending bar part of the length of the cavity, the ring part 2 facing the seat surface is screwed in. The upper beam part of the A-Lisliöl-ilung has a prismatic wall surface 3 with, for example, a hexagonal cross-section.
This wall surface, which is connected to a cylindrical bore 5 above a shoulder 4, forms a guide surface for the correspondingly prismatic sealing piston 6, which can be displaced in this way , but is guided in the valve housing against rotation. Part 8 of a valve spindle engages in a threaded hole 7 of the sealing piston from above.
A collar 9 adjoins the spindle part 8 , which opens between the shoulder 4 and a shoulder 1.0 forming the bottom of the bore the housing 1 screwed on Deek cap 11 is axially immovable, but rotatably mounted in the bore 5 . It has a ring nut 12 into which a locking ring 13 made of special rubber is inserted.
This sealing ring is squeezed together between the bottom of the annular groove 12 and the wall of the bore 5 and ensures a long-term good seal.
The cross handle 14 is screwed to the ring part 15 with the top cap 11 removed, then placed on the square upper end part 16 of the spindle, whereupon the deek cap 11 is firmly screwed onto the housing 1 . This detail is not the subject of this patent.
The valve described is because of the small number of its parts - and the simple shapes of the same very cheap - Lind operationally safe.
