Erfind-lngsgemäss weist die Vorrichtung zum Zuführen von körnigem oder pulverför migem Material aus einem Raum mit relativ niedrigem Druck in einen. Raum mit höherem Druck eine drehbare, mit Taschen versehene Tragplatte auf, deren Taschen nacheinander in eine erste Stellung, in der sie eine Ladung des Materials bei relativ niedrigem Druck aufnehmen, und dann in eine zweite Stellung gebracht werden, in der sie eine Verbindung zwischen zwei Öffnungen;
Materials.
Device for feeding granular or powdery material into a room of higher pressure. The present invention relates to a device for feeding granular () -ern or powdery material from a room with relatively low pressure into a room with.
higher pressure, which can be used in particular for feeding granular or finely powdered material under atmospheric pressure into a space under cover, the fed material having abrasive properties, as is the case with powdered fuels, for example.
With such devices it is usual to feed the material directly: from a drain-shaped container on the lower drive side of a pump, the powder flow, where necessary, being supported by a conventional conveyor belt device Pump itself.
the material leads to an overpressure gas nozzle, from which the powder is removed from the pump body through the overpressure. With such an arrangement.
It is difficult to get an effective seal between the idle and the low pressure side of the pump if the treated material has abrasive properties, since the surfaces deteriorate quickly due to abrasive particles penetrating between them.
The present invention relates to a Vorrielltung in which the L-overpressure orifice is isolated from the low pressure or atmospheric supply point, and in which the processing system is such that it compensates for any wear and tear caused by rubbing the work surfaces.
According to the invention, the device for supplying granular or powdery material from a space at relatively low pressure into a space. Space with higher pressure on a rotatable, pocketed support plate, the pockets of which are successively brought into a first position in which they receive a charge of the material at relatively low pressure, and then in a second position in which they connect two Openings;
one of which is set up to receive a gas flow under excess pressure, while the other is connected to a system of pipes under excess pressure, to which the material is to be fed.
In the accompanying drawing, an example embodiment of a Vorrich device according to the invention is shown, namely: Fig. 1 the device in a vertical section and Fig. 2 is a plan view of the device, with some parts, the sake of clarity, are omitted .
The embodiment shown has a rotatable support plate a, which is wedged onto the rotatable vertical shaft b and accommodated in a housing c. The shaft b is, preferably at bi, connected to a variable speed transmission, not shown, which is driven by a motor, not shown.
In the support plate a is a number. of pockets a1 with a rectangular cross-section, see particularly FIG. 2, which feed the granular or powdery material under atmospheric pressure at the feed point d of the device, the material discharge pipe d (see especially FIG. 22).
The material that is to be fed to the pockets a1 in the support plate a can be fed to them by gravity from a vibrating container which itself receives it from a filling hopper (not shown), so that the device at d is continuous or semi-continuous is eaten.
The feed system can, where necessary, work as a measuring device, in which case the support plate a is rotated at such a constant speed that the possible feed speed of the device exceeds the feed speed through the vibrating container.
The vibrating container contains a calibrated control which enables any given amount of material to be fed to the device. so that an adjustment of this control results in a rapid change in the amount of material that is fed to the pressurized material discharge pipe, and since the control is calibrated. the material feed is set to a certain feed speed with.
an accuracy of? 1 / o. If more precise control of the feed speed is required, a continuous weighing machine can be inserted between the filling hopper and the vibrating container. On the other hand, the device itself works as a less precise metering device if the rotational speed of the support plate a is varied and if the feed pestem (i.e. the vibrating container and / or a continuous weighing machine) have been set so that the pockets in the plate are completely filled. will.
The pockets a1 in the support plate a have the shape of openings that. run vertically through the plate, as shown in Fig. 1, which are each closed at the lower end by a standing under a light Fecxerdrtielz plate valve a, the spring is arranged so that they open the valve during the filling and the Keeps transporting closed.
Since the valve works with a very small pressure difference, it is preferable to a porous filter that is also used. and serves to hold back the material in the pocket a1.
As the support plate a rotates, the pockets are loaded with material one after another at the feed point (1 and can then pass under a series of scrapers which serve to remove the excess material stored around the edges of the pockets.
From the seers, pockets o1 run between two conduction cushions e and f, those of springs e l, f i or through pneumatic or other pressure loads. the support plate are kept in contact. one of these hot e is arranged above the plate and the other, f, underneath.
The two hoists are each provided with an opening e3, f 3, which are directed towards one another. and form parts of the overpressure system of the supply and have a cross-section which is adapted to the cross-section of the pockets cr.l in the support plate a, the pockets so constructed. are,
that an effective emptying of the material from the pockets is ensured by an upward flow of gas from the pipe, regardless of the grain size and other properties of the fed:
Materials. Both sealing cushions e and f, which are preferably circular, are constructed in such a way that their opening simultaneously covers at least three pockets a1 in the support plate a and the opening f 3 in the upper part f is connected to the material discharge line h, while the Opening g in the lower cushion with.
is connected to the source of excess pressure. When each pocket seal passes through the aligned openings e3, f - of the seal classes e and f , penetrates. the gas flow through the poppet valve a \ enters the pocket and carries the material into the material discharge line, h., from where it reaches the point of consumption. of the overflow system is fed through pipes.
The gas flow is always kept at a pressure that exceeds the pressure of the absorbing material caused by its own weight in order to effect a rapid and complete emptying of this material from the pockets. VN hen a pocket a1 continues its course between the sealing cushions and n., From the emptying point, continues.
they enter a cleaning section i (see special fig.?), where pure air is blown or sucked through the pocket a1 in order to remove any condensation products that have remained in the pocket as a result of the grass flow, this section. especially there.
what matters is where a Da.mpfstront is used. Where the cleaning section is connected to a vacuum pump, the purging openings are arranged in such a way that the free air opening is closed before the vacuum opening is closed in order to ensure that there is negative pressure in the pocket if it enters the filling position again, which supports the filling. and blow back is prevented.
As mentioned above, the cushions e and f are held against the support plate a by springs, pneumatic or other means. In a spring system, various pressures corresponding to the printing of the pressure source of the device can be applied. will; the setting is made with the aid of an adjusting screw. On the other hand, the pressure of the sealing cushion on the support plate is automatically kept at the correct value when the discs are pneumatically or hydraulically loaded. are.
The sealing cushions, which are housed in the housing that contains the gas flow supply pipe, are flexibly mounted in order to compensate for any inaccurate alignment.
The actual sealing surface of the cushions e and. f can be smooth or provided with any lubricating and / or emptying openings. The Entleerungsöffnun gene j, if such are used, so that they destroy the pressure of the gas flow, which remains in the pockets. After the powder has been removed, immediately destroy; they are connected by pipes to the atmosphere. Where a dry gas flow is used, these pipes can be connected to the main hopper to get there. possibly to be dumped with cracked powder.
The sealing cushions e and f are aligned in such a way that they are slowly rotated about the central axis of their openings during the rotation of the support plate. can be achieved by an inside or outside arranged drive Z, k. This slow turning ensures uniform wear of the discs and grinding onto the support plate.
Hard material is chosen for the support plate a, for example a hard chrome coating, nitriding or specially alloyed steel. On the other hand, the sealing cushions are made of softer materials, such as bronze or an aluminum alloy. Wear therefore only takes place on the sealing cushion and. is automatically compensated by the springs or other load means, so that the seal remains in its normal effectiveness. The sealing cushions and the housing are constructed in such a way that the sealing cushions can be replaced quickly if necessary.
In addition to the sealing cushions e. and f, which are in contact with the support plate a, there are two fixed cast iron or bearing metallscheib.en in and n which are held by the housing c.
These secondary sealing washers are adjustable so that they have a clearance of approximately 0.025 mm with the carrier plate and. serve as an additional seal around the sealing cushions e and f as a precautionary measure against blowing back in the event that the sealing cushions break.
The housing c of the device is provided with a material feed line o, which is un indirectly above the pockets of the support plate at the feed point and is with. the same radius of curvature extends over a length that allows the pockets to be completely filled. will. In order to direct the powder to the center of the pockets, the width of the feed line is smaller than the diameter of the pockets. The feed line is fitted in the housing so that it can slide vertically and is under spring pressure in order to always remain in contact with the support plate.
In a variant of the device described, the pockets in the plate can be U-shaped, in which case the inlet opening for the gas flow and the outlet opening for the material discharge line of the cover diaphragm system are contained in the same sealing cushion.
In a further variant, the support plate is mounted rotatably about an axis, the U-shaped pockets being arranged on the circumference thereof. are; in this case, the sealing cushion has the shape of a curved shoe which is pressed elastically against the periphery of the support plate, and which contains both inlet and outlet openings so that they are aligned with the thighs of U-shaped pockets on the Perimeter of the support plate are present, or the shoe-shaped sealing cushion can contain one of the two openings.
wherein the other is held irr a second cushion ent which rests against the side of the support plate in a similar manner, as that in the form of the first described embodiment; in this latter case the pocket in the support disc would be L-shaped.
