Steuervorrichtung an druckluftbetriebenen Geräten.
Control device on compressed air operated devices. In -4ubkluft operated devices, e.g. B. railway brakes, the task is often to feed the working cylinder from a compressed air source via a line and at the same time a displaceable member, z. B. to operate a piston or a membrane, depending on the pressure gradually building up in the working cylinder. Hiebei it may be desirable not to have to set up this organ directly at the location of the working cylinder.
For example, it is customary in the case of compressed air brakes on railways to arrange the brake cylinder and the three-pressure regulator, which is dependent on the pressure in this, separately from one another and to connect them with a line. In this way, an arrangement results in which the air from the compressed air source first reaches a control chamber containing the displaceable member and from here via a conduit that is narrowed compared to the latter into the working cylinder to be filled.
As a result of the flow resistances in the line, a congestion of the incoming compressed air occurs in the control chamber at the beginning of the flow, and damil, a static pressure that changes over time to the pressure that builds up faster or more slowly in the working cylinder, depending on its size hurries ahead and only passes into it after the current has ended. The consequence of this is that the displaceable member is temporarily influenced by a higher pressure than corresponds to the current pressure in the working cylinder.
The present invention aims to eliminate this often undesirable condition. Its object is a control device on compressed air-operated devices, in particular compressed air brakes, in which the working cylinder is fed from a compressed air source via a valve which is operated by a control chamber under the influence of the pressure in a control chamber connected to the working cylinder via a line Actuator is controlled.
According to the invention, an auxiliary control chamber is provided for the actuating element, the pressure of which counteracts the pressure in the said control chamber, and provisions are also made to open it at the same time of the valve in the auxiliary control chamber to generate a temporary pressure surge and thus to eliminate the effect of the pressure generated by the damming of the compressed air flowing into the working cylinder in the control chamber, temporary pressure impact on said actuator.
Two embodiments of the subject matter of the invention are described below with reference to the drawing.
According to FIG. 1, a line 5 , through which the chamber 6. Branches off from a main air line L that runs through the entire railway train, branches off in the car provided with the compressed air brake of an accelerator B, the chamber 7 of a valve device D for limiting the compressed air drawn off from the line L and the chamber 8 of a three-pressure regulator E can be provided with compressed air immediately.
A membrane 9 of the accelerator B closes the chamber 6 from a further chamber 12 connected to the auxiliary air tank H via the line 11 from. A plunger 15 carrying the valve body of a valve 13 and a piston 14 rests on the membrane 9 , which is supported by a weak spring 16 is normally held in the rest position shown, in which the valve 13 is closed. Between the piston 14 and the housing wall there is a clearance which, when the valve 13 is open, allows compressed air to flow out into the chamber located above the piston 14.
As long as the flow around the piston 14 continues, it is pushed upwards by the flow and keeps the valve 13 open.
The chamber 7 of the valve device D is connected by the membrane 17 to another via the line 21 to the control air tank S < / B> connected chamber 18 separated. A plunger 19 fastened to the diaphragm 17 is guided in a sealing manner in a partition 22 and carries the valve body of a valve 24 at its end located in a chamber .23.
This valve, which is normally kept open by a spring 25, connects the chamber of the accelerator B located above the piston 14 via a line 26 connected to the chamber 23 with a chamber 27 of the valve device D, which in turn is connected via a line 28 to a fluid chamber 29 of the three-pressure regulator E.
In addition to the auxiliary chamber 29 , the three-pressure regulator E has the three usual control chambers, d. h. the already mentioned line chamber 8 , one connected to the control pen container 8 via line 21, chamber 31 and one via line 32 < / B> Chamber 34 connected to the brake cylinder Z. The free end of the plunger 37 fastened to the mineballs 35 and 36 is used for Actuation of the pierced valve body 38 of a double valve 41, which is normally pressed onto its seat under the influence of a spring 39 .
If the tappet 37 is in the rest position shown, the chamber 34 and thus the cylinder Z is connected to the outside air via the bore in the valve body 38 . If, on the other hand, the valve body 38 is lifted from its seat, this connection between the cylinder Z and the outside air is interrupted and the chamber 34 is via the line 42, the normally open valve 43 of a valve device M for limiting the first injection of compressed air into the brake cylinder and the line 44 with the auxiliary air tank H in an unthrottled connection.
The valve device M has two control chambers 45, 46 separated from one another by the membrane 50, the former of which is connected to the brake cylinder Z via the line 32. The chamber 46, on the other hand, is connected on the one hand to the control chamber 29 of the three-pressure regulator E on the one hand via the line 47 and on the other hand via the throttle 48 to the outside air. The valve body of the valve 43 is connected to the membrane 50 by means of the plunger 49 and is normally lifted from its seat by the spring 51 . The throttle 52 is arranged parallel to the valve 43.
During braking, the control device works in the following way: A pressure drop in line L is transmitted directly to chambers 6, 7 and 8. The valve 13 The accelerator B is opened under the predominant influence of the pressure in the auxiliary air tank H, so that compressed air from the main lift line L via the line 26, the chamber 23, The open valve 24 and the chamber 27 of the valve device D, the line 28, the control chamber 229 of the three-pressure regulator E , line 47,
the chamber 46 of the valve device M and the throttle 48 flow off into the outside air. At approximately the same time as the valve 13 of accelerator B opens, the plunger 37 in the three-pressure regulator B under the influence of the pressure difference in the chambers 8 and 31 moved upwards, its free end closing the bore of the valve body 38 and then lifting it.
Compressed air now flows unhindered from the auxiliary air tank H via the lines 11 and 44, the open valve 43, the line 42, the valve 41 and the line 32 into the breeding cylinder Z and generates a rapid initial pressure increase in this. Since each line section causes a reduction in the flow rate of the air, albeit a small one, a congestion and thus a static pressure arises in each chamber located in front of such a line section.
Such an accumulation occurs during the described injection process, in particular in the control chamber 34 of the three-pressure regulator E, which acts on the membrane 36 and tends to move the plunger 37 downwards is. However, this effect is undesirable as long as a certain minimum pressure is not present in the brake cylinder. As a result of the throttle 48, however, the compressed air drawn off from the main air line L now also generates a pressure surge in the chamber 29 of the three-pressure regulator E, which counteracts that in the chamber 34.
By suitable selection of the size of the throttle 48 and the chambers through which the tapped compressed air flows, the aforementioned pressures influencing the membrane 36 in opposite directions can be adapted to one another. Under certain circumstances it can be useful to add a further throttle leading into the outside air to the throttle 48 in front of the chamber 29, for example in the chamber 27 of the valve device D / B> to be connected in parallel.
The compressed air flowing from the auxiliary air reservoir H to the brake cylinder Z causes, in addition to the chamber 34 of the three-pressure regulator E, a pressure increase in the chamber 45 of the valve device M, through which the valve 43 could be closed prematurely under certain circumstances. The half of the compressed air drawn off from the main air line L is also passed into the chamber 46 of this valve device, where it counteracts the pressure in the chamber 45.
Since the valve 13 of the accelerator B is designed as a flow valve and is not rigidly connected to the membrane 9 , it remains open as long as the air flow continues, regardless of whether meanwhile the. Membrane 9 may have moved downwards. The tapping is only interrupted when the pressure in the main air line L, which is transmitted into the chamber 7, has fallen to a certain value. At this moment, the spring 25 in the valve device D is no longer sufficient to keep the valve 24 open, so that it closes and the tapping is interrupted.
The pressure still present in chambers 29 and 46 is balanced out via the throttle 48 with the external pressure, so that in the three-pressure regulator E the diaphragm 36 </ B > is now exclusively under the pressure in the brake cylinder, while on the membrane 50 in the valve device M only the spring 51 counteracts the pressure in the cylinder.
If this pressure has risen to a certain minimum value, then it overcomes the spring 51 while closing the valve 43. Thus, the throttle 52 is switched between the lines 42, 44, which monitors the filling of the brake cylinder and which also prevents the creation of a pressure in the chamber 34 of the three-pressure regulator E which is significantly higher than the pressure in the Breins cylinder.
In the embodiment according to FIG. 2, an accelerator B known per se, directly actuated by the three-pressure regulator B, which at the same time performs the function of the valve device shown in FIG. 1 > D exercises before seen. The three-pressure regulator E has a housing 55 inside which a valve stem 57 <provided with a bore 56 over part of its length / B>%, can be moved.
Its lower end protrudes into a housing part which is divided into two chambers 59, 61 by a membrane 58 and is on a plate 58 connected to the membrane 58 B> 62 attached. The chamber 59 is connected to the main air line L via the line 60 and the chamber 61 to the control air tank 8 </ B > connected. The upper end of the plunger 57 protrudes into a housing part which is also divided into two chambers 64, 65 by a membrane 63 and is rigid with this membrane connected.
The chamber 64 is connected via a valve 66 loaded by a spring with an antechamber connected to the auxiliary air tank H via the line 67 and is otherwise connected to the brake cylinder Z via the line 68 connected.
The accelerator B, which is assembled with the three-pressure regulator E , has in its lower part a chamber 69 designed as a cylindrical guide and connected to the chamber 59 . In this a body 71 on which an angle lever 72 is rotatably mounted, is guided displaceably parallel to the axis of the plunger 57 , whereby it normally on the plate 62 .
The arm of the lever 72 which is at right angles to the axis of the plunger 57 protrudes into the chamber through a slot 73 in the mentioned guide 59 so that when the body 71 moves upwards, it comes to abut against the upper boundary wall of the chamber 59 and thereby revolves around its point of articulation on the body 71 turns. The chamber 69 opens out via a valve 74 which, in the same way as the valve 13 of the embodiment according to FIG. 1, is designed as a flow valve, -in a larger transfer chamber 75 which has an output after the chamber 65 via a throttle 76 .
The spring-loaded valve body 80 is provided with a plunger 77 , which in the illustrated rest position of the accelerator on the arm of the lever 72 parallel to it > rests.
The valve device JI is designed in the same way as in the embodiment according to FIG. 1. Its chamber 45 is also connected to the brake cylinder Z via the line 68, while its chamber 46 is in communication with the chamber 65 of the three-pressure regulator E via the line 78 and with the outside air via a throttle 48. The throttle 52 is connected in parallel to the valve 43 to limit the filling time of the brake cylinder.
The mode of operation of the control device according to FIG. 2 is as follows: When the pressure in the main air duct L is lowered, the plate 62 is under the influence of the control air container 8 while the plunger is carried along B> 57 and the body 71 moved upwards. The lever 72 pushes against the plunger 77 and opens the valve 74 so that compressed air is tapped from the main line L into the transfer chamber 75 .
The tappet 57 comes to rest on the valve body of the valve 66 during its upward movement and thereby closes the connection of the brake cylinder Z via the line 68, <that was present up to that point / B> the chamber 64 and the bore 57 with the outside air. As the tappet 57 moves further upwards, it lifts the valve body of the valve 66 from its seat and thereby connects the auxiliary air container H via the open valve 43, the line < B> 67, the chamber 64 and the line 68 with the brake cylinder.
Since this i influx of compressed air is essentially unhindered, the brake cylinder receives a quick first injection of compressed air, which brings the brake shoes to rest on the wheels of the vehicle. As a result of the frictional resistances present in the line 68, a congestion arises in the chamber 64, which results in an undesirable pressure acting on the diaphragm 63, since this pressure occurs, before pressure can build up in the 5 brake cylinder.
As a result of the connection of the transmission chamber 75 via the throttle 76 with the chamber 65 , however, a pressure in the latter that counteracts the pressure in the chamber 64 arises Pressure that prevents the valve 66 from closing prematurely.
During the described actuation of the accelerator B, the arm of the ileus 72 , which is perpendicular to the axis of the tappet 57 , has been rotated and is dadurel-i out of contact with the valve tappet 77 come. Thus the influence of the membrane 58 on the valve 74 is switched off; however, this is kept open by the outflowing main line air until the pressure in the transfer chamber 75 has risen to such an extent that the flow stops. The valve is now closed by its spring, so that the tapping is interrupted.
The compressed air still present in the chambers 75, 65 and 46 is now gradually equalized to the external pressure via the throttle 48, so that the mybrella 63 < / B> of the three-pressure regulator E is only under the pressure in chamber 64.
However, after the pressure in the chamber 65 has decayed, the pressure in the chamber 64 resulting from the stagnation of the compressed air to flow to the brake cylinder Z from the auxiliary air container has also decreased, since the valve device _H addressed and switched on the throttle 52 instead of the direct connection via the valve 43.
The three-pressure regulator has thus switched to that operating state in which, under the sole influence of the pressures in the line chamber 59, of the chamber 61 connected to the control air reservoir H. and the ver with the brake cylinder Z connected chamber 64 is.
