Description
Motorwagen für elektrische Modell- und Spielzeugeisenbahnen. Die Erfindung betrifft einen Motorwagen für elektrische Modell- und Spielzeugeisen bahnen und bezweckt, die Antriebsverhältnisse eines solchen Wagens zu verbessern. Sie be steht darin, dass der Motorwagen wenigstens zwei Drehgestelle aufweist und jedes Dreh gestell einen eigenen Motor, vorzugsweise einen fTleichstromnebenschlussmotor mit Permanent- itiagnetfeld, besitzt.
Durch die Erfindung werden die Antriebs verhältnisse und die Fahreigenschaften des Motorwagens verbessert. Der mehrmotorige Antrieb bewirkt bei gleicher Gesamtleistung ein weicheres Anfahren. Besonders vorteil haft ist, dass eine grössere Haftreibung zwi schen Schiene und Rädern sich einstellt, mit hin das Zugvermögen des Motorwagens eine entsprechende Steigerung erfährt. Hinzu kommt, dass kein erfindungsgemäss ausgebil deter Motorwagen unter sonst gleichen Um ständen namentlich beim Durchfahren von Kurven eine grössere Fahrsicherheit besitzt, mithin weniger leicht entgleist als bekannte einmotorige Motorwagen mit mehreren, z. B.
zwei Drehgestellen; es wirkt sich nämlich vor- leilhaft aus, dass das nachfolgende Drehgestell nicht nachgezogen wird, sondern ebenfalls an treibt. Besonders vorteilhaft sind Gleichstrom nebenschlussmotoren mit Permanentmagnet feld, da diese Motoren etwa die Hälfte der Energie brauchen wie mit Feldspulen ausge rüstete Motoren der gleichen Leistungsabgabe.
Die Zeichnung veranschaulicht die Erfin dung an einem Ausführungsbeispiel in sche matischer Darstellung. Der Motorwagen a be sitzt zwei Drehgestelle b und c, von welchen jedes zwei Triebräderpaare aufweist. Jedem dieser beiden Drehgestelle ist ein eigener, auf der Zeichnung nur gestrichelt angedeuteter Motor d bzw. e zugeordnet, und zwar mit Vor zug ein Gleiehstromnebenschlussmotor mit Permanentmagnetfeld.
Die Antriebskraft der Motoren wird über das Zwischenrad f auf die Zahnkränze g der Triebräder übertragen. Die Motoren sind zweckvoll auf den Drehgestellen so angeordnet, dass sie deren Drehbewegung mitmachen.
