Gas heater. According to a known manufacture of gas heating apparatus, the burner is in turn by a protective bowl independent of the burner.
The present invention a. polishing object a gas heater, characterized in that the burner forms a single piece; icee the protective bowl.
The appended drawing represents, by way of example, two embodiments of the heating apparatus according to the invention.
Figs. 1 and 2 are respectively. a section through I-1 of fig. 2 and a plan view of the following apparatus, the first form of execution.
Figs. 3 and 4 are respectively a section through I11-III of fig. 4 and. a plan view of the apparatus according to the second embodiment.
The first embodiment of the apparatus shown in FIG. 1 and 2 comprises a burner consisting of two sheets A and B encircled in the shape of a ring, the sheet A present, coming from the. same sheet, an extension in the form of a bowl A '. The sheets A and B being welded together at a, while their circumferences inside are joined by a tubular element C made of sheet welded at b.
This construction is made according to the rules of the technique of stamping and using all the processes which facilitate the execution of parts in series. Thus, for example, instead of using a separate tubular element C, this tubular element could be produced by stamping by so many sheets A or B and by welding respectively at the junction with B or AT.
Exit ports for gas are made in sheet A; they are drilled with a drill or stamped directly with a press in order to increase their depth.
The tubular element C serves to supply the secondary air necessary for combustion. The annular chamber D has at an appropriate place on its circumference in the sheet B a cutout c on the edges of which is welded the end of a tube E, forming this no, and intended to provide passage for the gas-air mixture distributed by an injector F mounted in a feed head K of known type.
This barrel is hung in an adjustable way and as on the head K, while the burner rests simply by the upper edge of its bowl A 'on a corresponding curved part <I> L </I> of the cast iron body of the device 1f1. The burner and the bowl can thus be removed simultaneously.
In the second embodiment re, presented in FIG. 3 and 4, the stamped sheet A forming the upper part of the burner forms part with the bowl A 'and at the same time forms the body A "of the device, so as to form a homogeneous stamped assembly.
The feed head K consists of a valve of any type N for both a connection for tubing in rubber and in a variant a lateral gas outlet, as well as an injector F ', which is screwed directly. on a threaded end of the barrel E. As the latter is integral with the bowl <B> A </B> 'and the body.: 1 ", the valve will therefore form a unit with the body and its fixing is thus easily achieved.
In a variant, it is possible to connect the barrel F, not to the front part of the chamber D of the burner, as shown in the drawing, but to the rear part, thus providing a rear gas inlet.
