Method for insulating high-voltage windings in electrical machines. The present invention relates to a method for isolating high-voltage vibrations in electrical machines.
The usual mikafolium insulation with. Seliellaek or asphalt as binders are no longer sufficient for the increased thermal and mechanical stresses of the high-voltage windings of large electrical machines. Particularly in generators with a large iron width, strong shear stresses occur in the slot insolations, which are attributable on the one hand to the temperature difference between copper and insulation and on the other hand to the difference in the linear thermal expansion coefficients of the two materials.
Both shellac and asphalt-1Vlika-foliuni no longer offer any resistance to these shear stresses at copper temperatures of over 100 C, so that, for example, the groove insulation on the copper can be compressed. At the same time, there is an expansion of the insulation and thus a significant deterioration in the dielectric properties.
To avoid these disadvantages, according to the method according to the invention with the conductor system of the winding and among each other, several insulating materials by means of a liquid to difficult-to-flow and later hardening binder verbun to form a mechanically solid body, the insulating part of which is due to the different thermal expansion coefficients Substances of the formed body can elastically absorb mechanical stresses that occur at temperatures which are different from the temperature prevailing when the body was manufactured without irreversible changes.
In this way, a winding insulation can be achieved that is well glued in itself and with the copper and withstands the mechanical loads. The mechanical stresses caused by the thermal expansion of the winding conductor are elastically absorbed by polymerized binders, so that plastic deformation of the insulation and thus swelling and mechanical destruction are avoided.
An embodiment of the method according to the invention is, for example, the fol lowing method: A liquid, thermosetting ethoxylin resin is brushed onto a paper web as a hardenable binder and covered with mica splitting. Another layer of binding agent is sprayed over the splitting and the insulating agent thus obtained is dried in such a way that the binding agent does not yet harden. To insulate an individual conductor or an entire conductor system, the insulating agent is heated on a hotplate to such an extent that any solvents in the binding agent evaporate and the sticky state is achieved again.
The temperature of the hot plate is chosen so that no polymerisation of the binder can take place. The insulation material is now wrapped around the conductor system until the required insulation thickness is present. When wrapping, care is taken to ensure that each subsequent layer sticks to the previous one without air inclusions. The insulation is then pressed into its final shape in a press and then cured at an elevated temperature.
In addition to paper and mica-like substances, glass fabric and synthetic resin films, for example, can also be used as insulating materials to be connected to the conductor arrangement and one another.
By painting the ladder system with. A hardenable synthetic resin can be used to create an adhesive zone between the conductor system and the insulation. The adhesive zone can be polymerized out before the insulation is rolled on.
It can be advantageous to roll the insulation made of hardenable synthetic resin alikafolium onto the adhesive zone in several work steps, in such a way that only a few turns are rolled on and tightened at first. After the first insulation layer made of synthetic resin micafolium has been rolled on, this insulation layer can be polymerized.
A second, the main insulation layer, can then be rolled onto this hardened first insulation layer in the usual way and hardened. Both the first insulation and the entire synthetic resin insulation can be cured under vacuum.
Between the first insulation layer and the main insulation layer, a control film made of conductive material can be inserted, which is intended to receive the potential of the winding conductor zii when the machine is in operation. The insulation part of which can elastically absorb the mechanical stresses that occur as a result of the different coefficients of thermal expansion of the substances of the formed body at temperatures that are different from the temperature present when the body was created, without irreversible changes .
