Instrument transformer arrangement, consisting of a current and a voltage transformer. Instrument transformers for high voltage are relatively expensive because of the isolation between the high voltage and the low voltage winding. The aim was therefore to assemble the current and voltage converters in a single device, which would allow price advantages and, moreover, favorable installation conditions in electrical systems to be achieved.
The measuring units known today are without exception instrument transformers in oil, the active parts of the transformers being placed in a box or, more recently, in a pot made of ceramic material. The aim was to reduce the dimensions of the apparatus and in particular the oil volume mt.
The present invention is. a measuring transformer arrangement, consisting of a current transformer and a voltage transformer. The invention consists in that the high-voltage windings of the two transducers are cast in a common insulation body made of low-pressure cast resin.
In the accompanying drawing, two exemplary embodiments of the invention are shown schematically and in section.
In Fig. 1, the high voltage implementation is formed as a capacitor bushing 1, through which the current is supplied at high voltage potential to the high voltage winding 2 of the current transformer equipped with four magnetic cores. In the point.
% 1, the high-voltage winding 8 of the voltage transformer is connected to the high-voltage winding 2 of the current transformer. This is ge compared to the low-voltage winding 6 and the two-column magnetic core 7 isolated by a cast resin insulation 5. The high-voltage winding 8 is designed as a layer wound.
The high-voltage windings 2 and 8, the magnetic cores 3 and 7 with their low-voltage windings or 6, and the bushing 1 are cast into an insulating body 9 made of low-pressure cast glass.
The magnetic circuits of the current and voltage converters are completely separated from each other. To protect the magnetic cores against atmospheric influences, the lower part of the device is enclosed in a housing 10.
In the embodiment of FIG. 2 be the voltage converter sits a tinsäuligen stubby magnetic core 7 which is arranged parallel to the high-voltage bushing 1 of the current converter.
The high-voltage winding 8 of the voltage converter is designed in such a way that the potential alongside the iron core 7. rises almost uniformly from zero at the base of the core to the entrance of the winding. The high-voltage leadthrough 1 of the current transformer is also designed here as a capacitor leadthrough, the linings 11 of which are connected to the high-voltage winding 8 of the voltage transformer.
This improves the shock resistance of the voltage transformer. As in the example according to FIG. 1, the high-voltage windings of the two transducers are cast into an insulation body 9 made of low-pressure cast resin, which at the same time forms the external insulation of the measuring device. 12 is the ground.
By using low-pressure cast resin with a finite high dielectric and mechanical strength as insulation for the high-voltage winding, the iron paths of the transducer cores can be kept short, which means that the transducers are very accurate and have a high level of short-circuit strength.
The insulation body, in which the active parts and the live elements, so far. they do not have to be accessible during operation, are cast in, can also be used as weather-resistant external insulation. This eliminates all difficulties with the sealing device of implementation or housing against rapid escape. Furthermore, there is no risk of fire, and no special precautions need to be taken when transporting the device against moisture penetrating the windings.
