Geht man z.
Es stellt ein Netz sich kreuzender Leitungen t-, lr', <I>IV</I><B>...</B> einer seits,<I>Q,</I> Ni, <I>S, T</I><B>...</B> anderseits dar, die jeweils an zwei gegeneinander isolierte hontaktstüeke q <I>. . . t</I> bzw. u <B>...</B> w angeschlossen sind.
Fig. 8, die in Punkt Z an Fig.7 anschliesst.
Device for program control for work machines, in particular for cutting machine tools. A workshop has the task of processing a workpiece according to Fig. 1, namely the Löeher cz. and to drill the middle hole b, to turn the tapered hole c on the hole b and to lower the surface d, where in order to achieve a completely flat surface d the turning tool should make a few turns without feed after reaching the penetration depth.
In the previous way of working, this process would have required three to four separate operations, each time clamping. Modern production technology requires subsequent machining without re-clamping.
1According to another example, a - \ Verkstück is to be gefA, st on a milling machine, alternating with areas to be processed according to FIG. 2 with those that are not processed. To save time should not. the entire area can be traversed with the slow working feed rate, but the faster rapid traverse should be switched on over the areas that are not to be machined.
So rapid forward (EV), work forward (AV) and rapid, reverse (ER) alternate with one another.
According to a third example, on a production line g with production units for z. B. Bobren, countersinking and thread cutting a certain production plan can be carried out.
A fourth example should be mentioned: In the case of coating systems for blast furnaces, the bucket is to be brought from the feed point of the material over different stops and at different xreseh speeds over the blast furnaces and emptied there. The operation of this system is therefore precisely based on given plan.
The number of examples could be increased at will (control of forces, pressures, temperatures, etc.). They were chosen to explain some basic options. The first example shows the case of a machining process that is composed of several independent sub-processes.
The second example is about the control of a standard processing process according to different speeds.
The third example showed the execution of a work plan on a number of different machines connected in series.
The fourth example deals with the case of controlling an intricate motion process.
What all the examples of control devices mentioned have in common is that they process machine operations in a specific order or according to specific laws, e.g. 13. (Have xesch3vindigkeits- or route regulations carried out. They are program controls.
Solutions are already available for a number of program controls, but they will still have to be developed for other areas. The program can be controlled purely mechanically (e.g. with curve discs, as with the Gridlev machine).
Note and curve disks are also used in the so-called copier devices of the Belichtungsteehnik or in turret benches, but here act on electrical switching elements. Controls for machining operations naeb Fig. 2 work with trigger switches and adjustable lugs, rulers, etc. on the machine table. Photoelectric controls have already been proposed for planing machines.
The known controls of post-forming milling machines, post-forming machines and other post-forming machine tools should not be considered here, since. they cannot simply be subordinated to the concept of program control. The program works with a numerically limited number of stages, while the number of stages when scanning a model in the post-forming machine is theoretically infinite.
The invention consists in that a control pulse generator, which triggers the individual program levels, controls a switching device by means of neutral control pulses, which transmits the pulses assigned to the control pulses coming from the control pulse generator to the actual program selector and via the sen to the command-executing switching devices. The control pulse generator can advantageously be actuated by a moving machine part.
This is the main difference compared to the known program control devices of working machines, in particular machine tools. If you go z. B. from the explained control of a milling machine (Figure 2), so there is in the previous designs of the Knaggen K1 nen control command directly to an organ triggering the operation, such as a Sehalter or a contactor.
The latch K; # immediately gives a control command to a second triggering organ and so on. The impulses are basically neutral, but each impulse has a specific task and effect that is prescribed for it from the start.
It is of course possible to separate control and drive in such a way that the control is operated with low current and relays for triggering high-current contactors are held in between. But that does not change the basic fact that the control impulses each have different, defined effects.
Let us begin with the discussion of FIG. A jack field K is selected here for the program structure, as it is used in communications technology for switching calls, etc.
is used, and the basic circuit of which will first be explained with reference to FIG. 1. It represents a network of crossing lines t-, lr ', <I>IV</I> <B> ... </B> on the one hand, <I> Q, </I> Ni, <I> S, T </I> <B> ... </B> on the other hand, each of which is connected to two mutually isolated contact pieces q <I>. . . t </I> or u <B> ... </B> w are connected.
To produce a current path corresponding to the program, two such contacts are tied through a plug-in contact piece Q1, R., T ;; <B> ... </B> connected. If the contact arm A r on contact.
Z <B> '</B> placed, there is now a Säromwe- from plus via Ar, t-', u.1, Q1, (11, line <I> Q, </I> winding 3I of a switching element (Contactor, relay, hitch-like sound, etc.) after minus. The switching element .'11 responds and executes its switching command.
When switching arm Ar to contact <B> V </B>, the current path is closed via contact piece R. and voltage is applied to WieklLrng N. At contact 1V 'the winding P receives voltage and so on, depending on the current produced via the inserted contact piece.
This from the communications engineering be known model of the jack field is supplemented in the embodiments according to FIGS. 3 and 6-8 by a further element of the message technology, namely by a step switch in the form of a selector controlled by a relay. Experiments have shown that the space required by a complete control device according to the invention for the same control program is only a few percent of the space required by control devices built using high-voltage control means.
In addition, the relays of this control system which execute commands can also advantageously be taken from the field of communication technology, so that the switching means of high-voltage technology are limited to the actual working circuits.
After these introductory remarks, the control device according to FIG. 3 will be written. Herein mean: K the latch field, I ... IV relays to be switched, WR the selector relay and lc, r the contact arm of the selector. In addition, the switch St, which forms the control pulse, is present. It is important to note here that the switch St does not directly issue the switching commands, but only neutral switching pulses to the selector relay WR, which only carries out the actual program.
It is therefore essential, as has already been pointed out, that the most varied of control commands can be given by a plurality of neutral pulses of the same type (closing the switch St).
@ 'If the switch St is closed, the relay <I> WR </I> responds; it is, starting from the illustrated position 0 of the contact arm of the first latch strip to tension voltage and depending on the set program (Fig. 4) one of the relay I. . . IV excited. With the next pulse of the switch St, the contact arm is switched to the second latch strip, a new control command is issued and so on. Closing the switch <I> St </I> can e.g. B. be done depending on the path by cleats on the machine.
However, any changes in state (temperature, pressure, etc.) can also be used to generate pulses through the switch St. In the case of simple operating conditions, one could choose an embodiment according to FIG. 5 by inserting connecting lines of the relays I ... IV with plugs into sockets that are connected to the individual selector contacts.
In the simple form according to FIG. 3, the control device can only be used in rare cases. Operating conditions will generally be much more complicated. Above all, unambiguous control is required. Need to become. So, based on a specific state of the control device, only a very specific command may be given. Any other command must be impossible. For example, if the slow working process is to be switched on in a machine tool, under no circumstances should the rapid traverse be switched on, as this can result in serious damage to the machine, tool and workpiece.
The execution of the program must be independent of any randomness. This requirement can be met by a contact that must first be closed before a work game can be started or an interrupted work game can be continued. Since this contact controls the entire control process, it will be referred to in the following as the master contact. It can also be addressed as a zero contact, since it determines the starting position of the work process, ie its zero position.
In FIGS. 6 and 7 it is designated by OK. Fig. 6 shows such a circuit with the master contact OK and another with AT (to let button) designated Sehalter to initiate the operation of the machine. A relay B and a return relay S have also been added to the circuit according to FIG.
Before starting the operation, for a reason that is not of interest here, the contact arms wrx, wr2 on one of the contacts 1.. .10 confessed. The voter's contact bank should have 10 contacts in addition to the zero position. The operator presses the AT key to start the machine. The switching time, that the command cannot be executed, because the master contact OK is open. So it has to be closed first.
Since it determines the starting position of the operation, the arrangement will generally be made in such a way that it is closed by a machine part, such as a support, when it has taken a certain starting position into which it is from Operator must be brought by hand. If the contact OK is closed, the relay B is excited and closes its normally open contact hl. Since the contact arm wr @ is on one of the contacts 1 <B> ... </B> 10 according to the prerequisite, receives.
Relay S now. via the contact arm wr. and contact bi tension and makes its contact s1. This energizes the selector relay WR, which the contact arms i @, ri and icr. advances one step. At the same time, contact wr3, which short-circuits relay S, is closed. This falls off and opens. Contact us. As a result of the resulting drop in relay <I> WR </I>, contact izr-a is also opened again, i.e. the initial state is restored.
Relay S is again via the contact arm wr. and contact bi excited, since its short circuit is canceled. Relay WR is excited via contact s; the contact arms wrl and ivro are held one step further and so on until the contact arms wrl, zc-r- pass over the contact bank 1 ... 10 and have reached the zero position. The circuit via contact arm wr2 is now open, the relay S switched off. For this, the contact arm wri is now on the zero contact.
If the start button AT is now pressed, the relay WR switches the contact arm unri properly to output control command 1.No matter in which position of the control the start button was first pressed, no control command comes through the control until it is valid has reached a defined starting position, which can only be established if the master contact is made first. OK was closed.
This avoids many coincidences that could disrupt the program.
Of these coincidences, the possibility that the current is interrupted during an operation would be particularly significant.
There can be different reasons. On the one hand, a malfunction in the supply system can cause the voltage to drop, for example as a result of a fuse blown, or the operator pulls out the connection plug of the machine for whatever reason, or he is forced to work in the middle of the work process, for example due to a broken tool shut down the machine by pressing the \ emergency button.
If the voltage then returns, it works, since the control is based on the delivery of neutral pulses, like a control pulse: which of course could result in a completely wrong command. The operation may only be resumed when the already explained, precisely defined starting position has been reached. is. One possibility for this is the introduction of a current monitoring relay, which is based on the F! -. 7 explained: which is supplemented by some other important switching measures.
It is assumed that the machine is not in the initial position, the master contact OK is open, the contact arm irr is not at zero and the current was interrupted when the switch IIV was in position a. Now the tension is returning.
Then the auxiliary relay Y first receives voltage, namely via the contact arm utrw standing on any of the contacts 1 ... 10 with the normally closed contact k still closed. of the current monitoring relay H. The changeover contact y is switched to position a, relay ss is connected to voltage via switch <I> HV </I> and the emergency button NT., contact b1 is closed and relay S is energized.
It begins now: the voter's run to zero contact. in the manner just described. The contact arm icr. goes to zero, relays Y and 'S drop out. Now the relevant machine part, such as the support, must be moved to the starting position. For this purpose the switch IIV (land adjustment) is toggled to position b, e.g.
B. to switch on a magnetic coupling required for manual adjustment (not shown)., And then move the machine part to the extent that the master contact is closed. If the Sehalter IIV is now held back again, then relay B receives voltage again and switches via its contact. b2 the current monitoring relay H on, which is now holding via its self-holding contact hl.
At the same time, the normally closed contact h2 is interrupted so that the relay <I> Y </I> does not switch to the contact bank when the contact arm is connected. can respond .. The latching of relay H continues until either the emergency button <I> NT </I> is pressed. or the switch HV is turned to position b or the voltage drops out. The selector IVR, however, must also run back to the zero position if the master contact OK is not closed or the switch IIV has left position a. To this end owns.
Relay Y has a self-holding contact y3 and also a further contact y2 parallel to the normally open contact of relay B. If relay Y is addressed via normally-closed contact h2 and LTm- sehalt contact y1 is in position a. had switched, it remains.
Relay Y effective despite the drop-out of relay H, and contact arm wr2 can run back to the zero position because the open contact b1 of relay B is bridged by the normally open contact y2 of relay Y.
For some machining operations, the program must be selected in such a way that from the starting position initially. a work process in one direction of movement, for example to the right, and then a loading process in the other direction of movement, for example to the left, carried out. must become. Under other conditions it may be necessary to run the program several times in a row.
Since the master contact OK is now pressed when the starting position is passed, then; since then relay B responds, the selector arm drifts back into its zero position and prevents the operation just described from being carried out. For such cases, another latch strip K2 is available; seen, which is supplemented by the relay K. If z. B. on pawl 5 of the master contact OK is to be ineffective, a plug is inserted into the socket of the pawl 5 of the pawl strip K2.
If the contact arm u-.r now comes to the pawl 5, relay K responds and opens its normally closed contact. x1. This interrupts the current path to the return relay S, so that no switching command can be given to the return relay S despite the response of .Relay B. The contact arm uy remains in its position and does not run back.
Referring to FIG. 8, a part of a special case will be dealt with, which can be installed particularly satisfactorily in the basic control screen of the device according to FIG. 7, but can also be carried out analogously on the basis of other tax principles. In certain processing operations, it is required to cover a precisely defined path. According to the first example in the introduction, this requirement must be met if a circle of a precisely specified depth is to be inserted into a component.
The safest way of limiting movement is the fixed stop against which the tool or Z-workpiece carrier starts; because controls with pre-shutdown and run-down can never take advantage of the possibility of changing the movement resistance. in complete safety. However, it stands to reason that you can while driving. against a firm stop would have to reckon with forces that could endanger the machine parts that come together.
Such a start against the fixed stop is only possible if you switch on a force and control system. With some rotary drives, this can be achieved by setting the tilting torque. However, this path will only be practicable in rare cases.
Much more important is the way to switch on an electromagnetic clutch in the drive and, shortly before reaching the end position, to apply a pre-contact to the clutch voltage. to reduce the fact that the clutch torque is still sufficient to bring the moving machine part up to the fixed stop, but is so low that the transmitted force is harmless when it is pushed.
The fact that the movement process should end after reaching the firm stop is hardly an option; rather one will have to withdraw the machine part (support and the like). Two conditions usually have to be met, namely that the retraction movement immediately follows the impact against the fixed stop and, in addition, a sufficiently large torque is available to prevent any jamming that may have occurred within the transmission (e.g. between between spindle and nut).
The simple way in which these various tasks can be achieved by an embodiment of the device according to the invention shows. FIG. 8, which follows on from FIG. 7 at point Z. To reverse the movement, the drive motor should be switched in this case, which was not shown in the figure. The magnetic coupling DIK is connected to voltage via the closed relay contact RK, <B> ... </B> iv and normally closed contact <I> f s </I> of a relay F.
Shortly before reaching the end position, the pre-contact FIT is closed, which supplies voltage to the relay E via the normally closed contact f i, with a capacitor C and a resistor w #> connected in parallel. Relay E responds and closes its contact. ei, so that now relay F receives voltage, which opens its normally closed contact f3 when responding. As a result, the resistance zvl is now connected upstream of the magnetic coupling NK, that is to say the coupling voltage is reduced in the sense of the above explanations.
As a precondition, the machine part should continue to run a little further as far as the fixed stop after the Kxipphnigsspan- voltage has been reduced and then switched to reverse. This is done with the help of the normally closed contact f i, the normally open contact f #, from relay F and: the normally closed contact e4> from relay E. When relay F responds, the normally closed contact f i is moved. and the working contact f 2 is closed.
When relay E responds, the normally closed contact e. is opened. The relay E are now, as already mentioned, a capacitor C and a counter stand 2c. connected in parallel. This has the effect that the relay E naeli switching of contact f 1 does not drop out at first, since the discharge current of the capacitor C maintains the excitation for a while.
A certain amount of time thus elapses between the flipping of contact f 1 and your reclosing of contact e2. is that even at the lowest feed speed, the machine part is sure to jiupplxing, s tension after reducing the jiupplxing. has come to a firm stop.
If relay E now drops and as a result, its normally closed contact e2 closes, an impulse is given to the selector relay TR via contact e2 and contact f2, which is closed due to the latching of relay F via the folded contact f1, which its arm switches to the next contact and thus the one previously in. Klinkenfeld switches on the return flow set out in the program.
So that, what has already been proven, the resistances that exist during betve, -ung, sumstexing can be overcome, the full clutch force must be available at the beginning of the return. For this purpose, the selector is equipped with a contact, it, r, 4, which short-circuits the holding resistor iel, i.e. gives full voltage to the magnetic coupling, HIT.
