Device for remote control of at least one tilting panel. The object of the present invention is. a device for remote control of at least one tilting panel by means of a motor unit actuated by remote control, a device which can be used in particular for the control of a ventilation window of an industrial building. This device is characterized by the fact.
that it comprises a rotary control shaft of the panel, driven by the motor member, this shaft carrying an oscillating transmission arm provided with a pawl. stopper, at least one fixed stopper placed on the outward travel of this pawl and intended to allow the automatic stopping of the pawl, the arm and the panel in a determined position, a deflector mechanism armed by said pawl during its outward run, and a bypass slide,
this mechanism being arranged to act on the pawl during an additional <the outward stroke of the transmission arm beyond the position corresponding to the contact of the pawl and the fixed stop notch, so that the stroke subsequent return of the arm and the pawl, the latter is. deviated on the. bypass slide and thus escape the notch <stop. fixed, means being provided, in addition, to ensure the locking of the shaft darrç at least one angular position.
The appended drawing represents, by way of example, an embodiment of the object of the invention. Fig. 1 is a vertical section through a positive control device for a double ventilation window.
Fig. 2 is a projection of this device on the trace plane II-II of FIG. 1. Fig. 3 shows, in elevation and in partial vertical section, a motor member, mechanical blocking members and a remote control valve.
Figs. 4 and 5 show, in elevation, the mechanical locking members in two operating positions.
Figs. 6 and 7 are two views in elevation, in perpendicular directions, of a transmission oscillating arm and of a deflector mechanism.
Figs. 8, 9 and 10 show this transmission arm and this deflection mechanism in two other operating positions.
The double ventilation window shown in fig. 1. and 2 include two fixed support frames 1 and 2 recessed in the opening G of the counter. An interior glazed panel 3 is pivoted by Lin axis 4 at the lower side of ch.âs- Sis J, while an exterior glazed panel 5 is pivoted by an axis 6 at the upper side of the second frame 2. A rotary control shaft is mounted in two bearings which are carried by crossbars connecting the support frames 1 and \ ?.
Tree 7, arranged in the. central region of]. 'opening G of the window., carries two pedals 9 connected by connecting rods 10 and 11 to the movable ends of the respective panels 3 and 5, which are remote from the pivot axes 4 and 6.
The control device further comprises (FIG. 3) a single-effect compressed air motor, essentially composed of a cylinder 12 fixed to the frame 2 and a piston 13 sliding in this cylinder. The lower end of cylinder 12 is connected by a pipe 14 to a remote control valve 15 itself con. nected, by a supply line 16, to the main compressed air tank, not shown. A return spring 17, taking ab pui against the upper base of the cylinder 12, tends to bring the piston 13 down.
The rod 18 of the piston 13 is connected by a connecting rod 7 9 to a locking finger 20 articulated in 2: 3 evening the movable end of a control arm 21 carried by the control shaft 7. A res comes out of torsion 22, overlapping the control arm 21 and having its two ends applied to the articulation axis which connects the connecting rod 19 and the finger 20, ensures elastic transmission of the engine torque due to the piston <B> 13. </ B > This spring 22 tends to cause the finger 20 to oscillate around the articulation axis 23 in the direction of the arrow Fi.
The frame 2 carries a console comprising a fixed stop bar 24 and a curved gripping surface 25 arranged substantially. along the curvilinear path of the hooking point 26 of the locking finger '20.
On the side of the window G, opposite to that which carries the compressed air motor 12-13, the support frame 2 is provided with a diverter mechanism visible in FIGS. 6 to 10; this mechanism being. actuated by a transmission swing arm 28 keyed to the control shaft 7. A support bar. 29 fixed to the frame 2 cooperates with the cross members 8 to support the shaft 7. The transmission arm 28 carries a stop pawl 30 having a lateral extension 30 'and pivoted at 31. A res out 32 urges the pawl 30 in the direction of arrow F2 around pivot 31.
A plate (the slide 33 fixed to the frame 2 is provided with a fixed stopper 34 and a lateral stop projection 35. This plate 33 has a side portion raised at an angle 36, in which is fixed an axis of 37 for an angled lever 38-39 A retaining lever 40 is mounted on a pivot 41 solid from the plate 33. This retaining lever has a shoulder 42 and a stop finger 43 intended to abut against the lateral projection 35. The short arm 39 said lever 38-39 has a step forming a stop notch 44 and a lateral bearing projection 45.
The inner surface of this arm 39 constitutes a movable deflection ramp for the pawl 30. The transmission arm 28 carries a transmission cleat 46 intended for. swing the elbow lever 38-39. The plate 33 carries on a side stud a leaf spring 48 constituting a bypass slide for the pawl 30 during its return stroke. The latter is provided with a lateral support rod 49 on which the spring acts. 32.
The remote control valve 15, which constitutes a three-way valve, is connected by an orifice of small section, not shown, and a bypass line 50, to the auxiliary tank 51. An internal manometric capsule, loaded by a spring crazy, is. sou bet, on the other hand., at the. air pressure prevailing in the pipe 50 and the auxiliary reservoir M. This capsule carries a temporary locking pin 52 located, in the neutral position, under a sector 53 integral with a handle 54 of the valve 15.
An air drain hole 55 is provided in the valve body and its. useful section can be adjusted by means of a needle screw 56.
The operation of the device for controlling the opening and closing of the counter. double that comes. to be described is as follows: The double window being assumed to be closed, the piston 13 is in the low position in the cylinder 12 and the control arm 21 then occupies the position visible in FIG. 5. By the action of the spring 22, the hardened steel tip 26 of the locking finger 20 is kept engaged in the gripping surface 25, suitably rough. It will be noted that the action of the return spring 17 is added to that of the spring 22 to increase the force of application of the point 26 in the surface 25.
Under these conditions, the glazed panels 3 and 5 connected to the control arm 21 are blocked in the closed position and can withstand the action of the wind, for example.
To open the window, we turn the net 54 to bring it into position 54 'shown in phantom, so that the sector 53 discovers the stud 52 which, under the still predominant action of the internal spring. exits from the valve body in a direction perpendicular to the plane of FIG. 3, and is placed in the path of the sector 53 thus preventing the operator from prematurely returning the lever 54 to the emptying position.
The lever having been brought into the air position 54 ', the compressed air arriving through the pipe 16 is admitted into the cylinder 12 and also enters the auxiliary reservoir, 1 which is filled. slowly. The piston 13 rises and. drives the control arm 21 as well as the transmission arm 28 in the direction of arrows F3 for FIGS. 3, 5 and 6. The first effect, of the upward stroke of the udder 13 is. release the acerochab tip <B> 26 </B> from the surface 25 by rotating the finger 20 in the opposite direction to the arrow Fi (fig. 5).
During the rotation of the shaft 7 and the arm 28 in the direction of arrow F3 (fig. 6), the pawl. 30 slides on the. plate 33 and crosses the inclined side of the detent. 34, then the lateral extension 30 'of this pawl strikes the shoulder 42 of the retaining lever 40 and causes it to oscillate from the active position visible in FIG. 6, in a retracted position (fig. 10). The shoulder 42 of the hand lever 40, on which the side projection 45 of the elbow lever 38-39 rested, is thus stepped.
Under the action of its own weight, the lever 38-39, thus released from the hand lever, oscillates in the direction of the arrow F5 and the projection 45 of the lever 38-39 is applied on the ex lateral tension 30 'of the pawl 30. The latter continuing to rise, its lateral extension meets the stop step 44 of the lever 38-39, which stops its outward stroke, While the auxiliary tank 51 is filling, the stud 52 enters the body of valve 15 and releases the sector> 3 at the end of the stroke.
At this moment, that is to say after a period of time widely calculated for the pawl 30 to come up against the step 44, the operator can return the lever 54 to the emptying position visible in solid lines in FIG. . 3. Compressed air is exhausted from cylinder 12 and escapes out through drain hole 55. Auxiliary tank 51 slowly empties. The action of the return spring 17 and the weight of the transmission parts then becomes predominant and the piston 13 begins to descend, until the moment. where the pawl 30 is stopped by the fixed stopper 34 (fig. 8).
When the piston 13 begins to descend and the arm 28 rotates somewhat in the opposite direction of the arrow F3, the lateral extension 30 'of the pawl 30 disengages from under the projection 45 of the lever 38-39, which allows puts the latter to come and occupy the position shown in FIG. 8 by a small angular movement in the opposite direction of the arrow F1. At the end of this movement, the pawl 30 abuts against the notch 34 and the end of the projection 45 is placed on the. plate 33.
The lever 38-39 has thus taken a position which prepares the movable deflector ramp, which the inner edge of the arm 39 constitutes, to subsequently receive the lateral extension 30 'of the catch 30.
When the transmission arm 28 occupies the position visible in FIG. 8, the panels 3 and 5 of the counter are -in the open position (fig. 1). They are blocked in this position because, at the start of the downward stroke of the piston 13, the hooking point 26 is embedded in the gripping surface '35, as seen in FIG. 4.
The panels 3 and 5 can remain indefinitely in the open position without any consumption of compressed air, since the cylinder 12 and the auxiliary tank remain in the emptied state, in communication with the atmosphere.
To cause the double window to close, the operator returns the lever of valve 15 to position 54 '; this results in a new intake of compressed air into the cylinder 12 and the auxiliary reservoir 51. The transmission arm 28 therefore rotates in the direction of arrow F3 and its transmission latch 46 causes the lever 38-39 to oscillate in the direction of arrow F, 4 (fig. 8).
The short arm 39 of the lever 38-39 therefore acts on the lateral extension 30 'of the pawl 30 and deviates the latter from its. previous path by pivoting around pivot 31, clockwise (fig. 6 and 8). The short arm 39 serves as a movable deflection ramp for the pawl 30. This second upward stroke of the piston 13 ends when the locking finger 20 abuts against the bar 24 (FIG. 4).
This second upward travel limit of the piston 13 is, on the other hand, determined in such a way that the lever 38-39 occupies a position shown in broken lines in f ig. 9, and in which the lateral projection 45 of said lever is at a sufficient distance from the pivot 41 to release the retaining lever 40 which then, by its own weight, oscillates in the direction of the arrow Fr, (fig. 8) so that the shoulder 42 returns to its active position, between the projection 45 and the pivot 41.
Under these conditions, during the reversal of the stroke of the piston which will be described later, the lever 38-39 will be maintained in the position shown in FIG. 9.
At the end of the first stage of the gate closing control operations, the piston 13 remains in the high position, at least until. that the pressure in the auxiliary tank 51 is. become sufficient to cause the re-entry of the pin 52 in the valve body 15 and free the path said sector 53. At this time, the operator can actuate the lever 54 towards the emptying position. This second emptying of the cylinder 12 causes the inversion of the. stroke of the piston 13, the release of the finger 20 and the rotation of the transmission arm 28 in the opposite direction of the arrow F3.
During this rotation of the arm 28, the pawl 30 first slides up and down on the deflection ramp formed by the short arm 39 of the lever 38-39, then it is applied by the spring 32 on the bypass slide -18 on . it slides along a different return trajectory from the. outward trajectory (fig. 9). Towards the end of the. angular travel of the arm 28 in the opposite direction of. arrow F3. the pawl 30 is returned by elastic action on the sliding plate 33.
The organs return to the position shown in FIG. 6; panels 3 and 5 have closed.
The remote control device, described above, can be used for the. remote control from several counters, at. from a single station and. by means of a single valve 15 combined with an auxiliary reservoir 51. The air line 14 comprises, in this case, a bypass for each cylinder 12, since there is one motor 12-13 per window.
The capacity of the auxiliary tank is. determined in such a way that its filling up to the operating pressure has a retarding effect corresponding to a duration a little longer than that of the slowest of the: upward strokes of the pistons 13 assigned to the different windows, with the aim of 'avoid a premature reversal of the direction of movement of certain transmission arms 28 while others, subjected to greater friction, have not yet reached their end of the outward stroke.
By the play of the stud 52 which interposes t = em porarily on the trajectory of the sector 53, the operator cannot perform a false irianoeirvre.
In the case of a counter. simple comprising a single tilting panel 5, for example, the control device would include-L1 half-spreaders, that is to say the lower part of the spreaders 9, which would always be mounted by one end on the control shaft î and connected, by the other end, by connecting rods 11, with a part remote from the axis 6 of the tilting panel 5.
Instead of a compressed air motor, one could, in an alternative embodiment, use a hydraulic motor.
According to another variant, the control arm <B> '-Il </B> could be actuated by means of an electromagnetic control under the control of a switch to. delay which would replace the. remote control valve l.5.
