Le fonctionnement est le suivant: La machine étantà la position de la fig. 1 et le plateau39 déplacé latéralement pour permettre le passage de la benne29, celle-ci est descendue dans le fora-e 42 d'où elle re- #D monte ensuite pleine de déblais pour être accrochéeà la. couronne26. Le plateau39 est alors, au moyen des poignées 40, amené par rotation autour de l'axe36, sous la benne *29 qui est ouverte et, qui se vide dans le platea#i 39;

ao ' -encent and arranged faeoii to, be able to be brought under the drilling tool when it is hooked to the arrow in an upright position and be moved laterally to allow the emptying of the materials it contains, on the side of the machine.
The arrangements -used allow no- (amnient to reject very quickly the de- blasts extracted by the drilling tool from both sides of the machine by a simple maneuver.
The appended drawing represents, by by way of example, an embodiment of the machine which is the subject of the invention. Fig. 1 is an elevational view of a machine in working position and constituting this embodiment.
Fig. 2 is a partial elevational view of the machine of the fi, -. 1 in an intermediate position.
Fig. 3 is a quick partial elevation of the machine of in fig. 1 in rest or travel position.
Fig. 4 is a plan view of the frame of the machine of FIG. 1.
Fig. 5 is a front view corresponding to in fig. 1.
Figs. 6, 7 and 8 are detail views of certain accessories.
Referring to the drawing, it can be seen that the machine which y is shown comprises a chassis 1 carried by wheels 2 with independent suspension, the front axle 3 (see fig. 4), connected to the drawbar 4, being mounted on an integral pivot pin 5 of the chassis.
Cylinders 6 (see fig. 5) are provided at, the front and at the rear for allow the wheels to be released and the action of the suspension to be suppressed when the machine is in the working position.
On the frame 1 (see fig. 1), is mounted a. engine 7 driving by a belt 8 a winch 9 controlled by a lever 10.
A the rear of the chassis ] _ is arranged a frame 11 serving as a support to an arrow to two uprights 12 mounted so to be able to pivot on axes 13 carried by the frame and each provided with a sector 14 on which is aeero- ehé a cable or chain 15 then passing over a fixed return pulley 16 and over a mobile pulley 17, its other end being fixed in 18 to the frame 1. The mobile pulley 17 is carried by a rod 19 sliding in a cylinder 20 under the 'action of a spring 21, the tension of which is adjusted in such a way to balance the weight of the boom, when the latter is in the rest position (fig. 33)
.
A its other end, the arrow carries it flange 22 serving as a support for a pulley 23 and to two members 24 for hooking chains 25 from which is suspended a crown 96. The flange 22 is, d 'on the other hand, connected by two cables 27 to tensioners 28 hooked to the frame 11, the cables 27 </ B > thus serving to keep the boom in the upright working position shown at the .g.
1. The working tool consists of a drilling bucket 29 which can, in the high position, hook into the crown 26, this bucket being suspended from a cable 30 passing through through the crown 26, then on the pulley 23 < / B> and coming to wind up on the drum 9.
On the boom is disposed a roller 31 of cable guide 30, which is located, when the boom is. at the position of work of fig. 1, in line with a collar 32 carried by the frame 11 and whose movable elements < B> 33 can be closed on the body of the 29 body when it is.
brought against the frame 11., as shown in fig. 2 and 3. The bucket has at its periphery cleats 29a (see the, fig. 6) having a corresponding female internal chamfer 29b to a male chamfer OZa of the 33 elements of the collar 32, so to ensure the support of the body itself if the clamp is loosened.
The fixed part of the collar 32 is supported by the frame 11 by means of a articulation 33a with horizontal axis (see fig. 1).
At the two ends of the rear cross member 34 of the frame 1 (see fig. 4) are fixed two supports 35 provided with vertical or light - </ B > quite oblique 36 around each of which can turn an arm 37 comprising an articulation 38 and carrying a plate 39 </ B> provided with handles 40. The plate 39 is mounted on the arm 37 a-Li with sockets 4.1 (see fig. 7 # threaded onto a tube 4a so à allows the plate 39 to swing over on itself around the tube 41a.
The distance from the center of the platform 39 to the vertical journal axis 36 is such that it can be brought under the body 29 when this is freely suspended in the high position, as shown to in fig. 1. An adjustable position stop 41b is placed on the tube 41a between the bushings 41 and allows, by modifying its position, to vary that of the plate c 3 ) 9 by sliding on the shaft 41a.
The machine can have either two plates 39 which can be used together or separately or a single plate which can be at mounted on one or the other of the two axes 36.
The 1. frame comprises at the front (see fig. 1 and 8) two tubular uprights 46 mon tees in the extension of the front jacks 6 and comprising telescopic elements 47 which can be maintained at desired height by pins 48. The elements 47 are joined by a cross member 49 intended for to serve as a support to, the boom in travel position (see fig. 3 and 8).
The cross member 49 has a wooden or rubber block on its sup port.
A collar 50 (see fig. 8), connected to the ends of the elements 47, simultaneously makes it possible to secure the arrow in the travel position and to maintain the crown < B> 26 which comes to rest on a 51 cradle provided on said arrow.
The operation is as follows: The machine being at the position of fig. 1 and the platform 39 moved sideways to allow the passage of the bucket 29, this one is lowered in the fora-e 42 of where it re #D then rises full of spoil to be hooked to the. crown 26. The plate 39 is then, by means of the handles 40, brought by rotation around the axis 36, under the bucket * 29 which is open and which empties into the platea # i 39;
the latter is then moved laterally along F (fig. 4), and when it has reached its extreme lateral position, it is done, still by means of the handles 40, tilting around said tube 41a, which ensures the pouring the excavation into a pile 43 placed on the the side of the machine.
To put the machine in the road position, we start, after having moved it slightly, by resting the bucket 29 on the ground, then, after having given some slack to the cable 30, we pass it on the roller 31 and we exert a traction on it key way to raise the bucket 29 to </ B > the plumb line of. roller 31 and to bring it into the collar 32 whose movable elements 33 are folded down and closed on it, the assembly then being at the position of FIG. 2.
Slack is then given again to the cable 30, either by acting directly on it, or by pulling on an auxiliary cable 44 (fig. 2) attached to the flange 22, the following boom is tilted Pl until it comes to rest on the beam 49.
The collar 50 is then closed on the crown 26 (fig. 3). The assembly is then at the road position shown in in fig. 3. If it is deemed preferable for transport, the body 29 may be brought into the position shown partially in phantom to fig. 3 by tilting the collar 32 around the articulation 33a.
The reverse operations make it possible to bring the boom back to the working position, the tilting of this one in one direction or the other requiring only a very small force because its weight is balanced by the res sort 91.
In. as regards the plate 39, it has been indicated above that its articulation axis 36 on the frame 1 could be slightly oblique , this so that the plate 39 describes a trajectory in an inclined plane, the high point being able to be either on the side of the bucket 29 to reduce the fall height of the cuttings and avoid, for example, projections of water, or on the contrary on the side of the heap 43 to allow the height of this case to be increased. Uarticalation 38 allows the platform 39 to be raised in order to bring it against the frame It in road position or in order to ensure its emptying. at a point higher than the solid plane of normal displacement.
Alternatively, for balancing the boom, a counterweight, a pneumatic device or any other suitable apparatus could be used.
