Description
Device for the disinfection of wastewater in flushing systems. The invention relates to a device for disinfecting waste water in Spülanla conditions, for example in toilet systems. This is particularly important in hospitals where the wastewater, especially the urine of infectious patients, should be disinfected as close to the sick bed as possible.
So far, body excretions have been rendered harmless by adding disinfectant fluids. Often, however, the addition of the disinfectant is overlooked, or too little or too much disinfectant is added, in the latter case therefore wasted.
These disadvantages are avoided according to the invention. The device according to the invention is characterized in particular by its simplicity; they can also be attached to existing flushing systems without further ado. According to the invention is. A siphon is connected to the rinsing pipe of the rinsing system and sucks in disinfectant liquid from a container when the rinsing water flows through the rinsing pipe, which is automatically mixed with the rinsing water.
The suction of the disinfectant liquid takes place, as is readily apparent, depending on the amount of rinsing water flowing through the rinsing pipe. To regulate the disinfectant inflow, a valve is expediently built into the siphon line so that the setting of the amount of disinfectant entrained by the flushing water flow can be precisely defined.
In the drawing, a Ausführungsbei is game of the inventive device give ge. The cistern 1 is fed from line 2 in a known manner. When the chain 3 is pulled, the flushing water in the box 1 flows through the line 4 into the toilet basin 5. Through the T-piece 6, a siphon line 7 is connected to the line 4, the end 8 of which is led into the box 9, which is with the disinfectant liquid 10 is filled. Between the T-piece 6 and the mouth 8 of the pipe 7, a control valve 11 is built.
When the rinsing water flows through the line 4, the T-piece 6 flows through and the disinfectant liquid 10 is sucked in via the siphon line 8, 7 in an amount that is determined by the position of the valve 11.
Instead of the T-piece 6, an injector can of course also be used. The device described can also be used in flushing systems that work with flushing valves. Instead of the toilet bowl, a urinal, a sink or the like can naturally also be provided.
