Motion picture projector with a centrifugal cooling fan. The invention relates to a moving image with a centrifugal cooling fan, which sucks in a flow of cooling air on both sides of the centrifugal wheel,
wherein it sucks in at least a portion of the one cooling air flow for cooling the film guide path through openings between the picture window frame and the film guide path.
In known motion picture projectors of this type sucks. the fan directly from the outside to the other cooling air flow through openings in the housing wall and presses this flow together with the air flow already used to cool the film guide to cool the projection lamp through the lamp housing.
This is disadvantageous in that, on the one hand, part of the cooling flow used to cool the lamp has already absorbed heat before it is compressed by the fan, and on the other hand, all of the air. Electricity is heated by the compression work .des Ge blower before it is then used to cool the projection lamp.
According to the invention, these disadvantages are avoided by the fact that the fan sucks in the other cooling air flow through the lamp housing.
and both air flows through openings in the housing wall of the projector directly to the outside. In the drawing, a suitcase projector is shown schematically as Ausfüh approximately example, which can be optionally equipped with an incandescent lamp or with an arc lamp having a concave mirror as a light source.
1 shows a longitudinal section through the projector with incandescent lamp, FIG. 2 shows a section along line II-II in FIG. 1 on an enlarged scale and FIG. 3 shows a longitudinal section through the projector with arc lamp.
The housing of the case device consists of a housing part 1, which encloses a drive 2, an optics 3, a condenser 4, a drive motor 5 and a fan 6, and also of a housing part 10 (Fig. 1) or 11 (Fig. 3). The housing part 10 contains an incandescent lamp 12 as a light source; the housing part 11 is an arc lamp with a concave mirror 13.
The housing part 1 is separated by a partition wall 14 into two spaces 15 and 16, of which the space 15 encloses the fan 6, the condenser 4 and part of the drive motor 5. Within the partition wall 14 an angled heat shield 17 is attached to this, furthermore a picture window frame 18 is placed on the partition wall, before a film guide track 19 is arranged. Openings 20 through which cooling air can flow are provided between the partition 14 and the picture window frame 18 as well as between the latter and the film guide track 19.
Cooling air openings 21 and 22 are also arranged in the wall 14 and in the part of the motor housing protruding into the space 16. The space 16 is formed on the one hand by the case housing part 1 and on the other hand by the partition 14. In the room 1.6 is the drive 2 with the film transport facilities. In the end wall 23 of the case housing, a Lichtdlirclilass- opening 24 is provided, which, like openings 25 in this end wall, also serves for the entry of cooling air.
The centrifugal wheel of the fan 6 sucks in a stream of cooling air on both sides 30, 31. The cooling air flow sucked in at 30 enters the trunk 16 through the openings 24, 25, flushes it and flows through the openings 20, 21 into the room 15, flows through it and also cools the condenser -L and the housing of the motor 5 Part of the air flow sucked in through the openings 24, 25 enters the housing of the motor 5 through the openings 22 and, after flowing through the same, arrives directly at the suction opening 30.
The other cooling oil lift flow sucked in at 31 enters the housing part 10 forming the lamp housing through openings 26 and cools the projection lamp 12.
Both air currents are pressed by the fan through openings 32 and 33 in the case of the Kofferge immediately outward.
In Figure 3 is the place of the lamp housing 10, the lamp housing 11, which the arc lamp with. contains the concave mirror 13, grown on the Gehä.-LLseteil 1. The housing part containing the arc lamp is delimited by a wall 35. A tube 36 with a lens 37 is attached to this wall and protrudes into the installation opening in the wall 38 of the condenser 4, which is removed in this case. This creates space 39 enclosed between wall 35 and wall 38 of housing part 1, which has openings 40 to the outside.
The lamp housing 11 has a double Z wall, which creates a gap 4 ″ that has openings 43 to the outside - Lind through openings 44 with. the room 39 is connected. The blower <B> 6 </B> draws in air from the outside through the openings 40 and <B> 4 '</B>, <B> 13 </B> n which flows through the rooms 39 and 42 the lamp housing cools and enters the fan through the suction opening 31.
The separation of the cooling air into two special air flows has the advantage that in both cases, namely when operating with an incandescent lamp or with. Arc lamp as light duels, a constant good cooling of the remaining parts of the projector, which are cooled by the air flow sucked in at 30, is guaranteed.
