Device for hydraulic power transmission. The present invention relates to a device for hydraulic power transmission, which has at least one container which is closed on all sides and is provided with a connection opening to a fluid line, which contains fluid used for pressure transmission and from which the pressure exerted on the fluid is passed on becomes.
The present invention is characterized in that the container is formed by at least one bellows-like tube and a housing surrounding the tube, so that the liquid comes to act on the outside of the tube.
In the accompanying drawing, two exemplary embodiments of the subject matter of the invention are shown, specifically in application to the brake cylinder of a motor vehicle. It shows Fig. 1 a section through a master brake cylinder and Fig. 2 a section through a brake cylinder of a wheel.
In the master cylinder 1, a bellows-like tube 2 is arranged, which with. its one end 3 is connected to the brake cylinder 1 in a fluid and airtight manner. The tube 2. is closed at its other end and firmly verbun with a plate 4 the. With the plate 4, a rod 5 is a related party, which is led out through the end wall 6 of the brake cylinder 1 and which is used to move the plate 4. The brake cylinder 1 has an opening which is connected to a nipple 7 and which is in communication with a fluid line.
Through the bellows-like tube 2 and the housing 1, a container 8 which is closed on all sides is now created, which is used to take on the liquid used for pressure transmission.
When the plate 4 is moved to the right in the drawing, the volume of the container 8 is reduced and the resulting pressure is passed into the pressure line. The spring force of the bellows itself is used to return the plate to its initial position, or a spring, not shown, or any other return member can be arranged.
In Fig. 2, a brake cylinder is shown which is used to actuate the brake segments of a wheel. In a housing 9, the brake cylinder, two bellows-like tubes 10 are arranged, which are each connected to a plate 11 and to a rod 12 in a manner analogous to that described for FIG. 1. The container used to hold the brake fluid is also formed by the tubes 10 and the brake cylinder -9-.
If in any way, e.g. B. by pressure from the master cylinder 1 he testified pressure is passed through the liquid line 13 into the container interior, the two plates 11 are moved apart. The brake segments (not shown) assigned to the bars 12 are actuated by the corresponding movement of the rods 12.
It has already been proposed to use the interior of the bellows-like tube as a pressure vessel for the liquid. However, the pressure expands the tube and brings its outer parts into contact with the housing.
The advantage of the present arrangement is that when the rod in the main cylinder 1 is actuated, the bellows-like tube 2 is stretched. Since the liquid has an effect on the outside of the pipe, the latter cannot come into contact with its surrounding housing 1 and thus also not cause any harmful friction.
If a pressure is exerted on the liquid in the interior of the container in the exemplary embodiment according to FIG. 2, this pressure acts on the one hand on the plates 11 and on the other hand also on the bellows-like tubes 1.0, constricting the latter, since we kend from the outside , in the radial direction against the rods 12, so that here too the folds of the tubes 10 are prevented from coming into contact with the cylinder housing 9. In this case, too, the creation of friction between the tube 10 and the housing 9 is prevented.
Conveniently (for the braking system of a motor vehicle, the two loading containers according to FIGS. 1 and 2 are used combined as a self-contained system by using the container according to FIG. 1 as the master brake cylinder that is activated by the brake pedal and 2 is provided in multiple designs as brake cylinders for one wheel each, the line 7 being connected to the lines 13. Such an arrangement has the advantage of a system that is closed on all sides and is not subject to any loss of fluid has no seals.
