Device with a diaphragm valve to regulate the flow of liquid. The subject of the present invention is a device with a diaphragm valve for regulating the flow of liquid which is fed from a gas pressure storage container through the valve to a consumer, where a spring-loaded valve pin is attached to the diaphragm dividing the valve housing into two chambers, which works with a valve seat in such a way that
that the inflow of liquid into the one chamber, which is always provided with an open outlet line, is opened and closed depending on the mutual pressure conditions in the two chambers.
The device according to the invention is characterized in that the other chamber of the valve housing, which is provided with a controllable outlet, is connected to the gas space of the liquid container.
The accompanying drawing shows vertical sections through two exemplary embodiments of a diaphragm valve according to the present invention.
In FIG. 1, 1 denotes the valve housing, which is divided into two chambers 3, 4 by a membrane 2. The lower chamber 4 of the valve housing has an inlet line 5 with a shut-off valve 6 and an outlet line 7. one. Stop cock 8 on. The upper chamber 3 of the valve housing has an outlet line 9 that is always open and an inlet line 10, in which the latter a valve seat 11 for a valve pin 12 is arranged.
This valve pin 12 is connected to the membrane 2, and a compression spring 13 is arranged between the latter and the valve seat.
The inlet line 10 of the diaphragm valve is verbun with the liquid space of a letter gas pressure storage container, while the line 9 leads to the consumer.
The line 5 is connected to the gas space of the storage tank before, and the line 7 leads into the open when air is seen as compressed gas.
If the shut-off valve ä of the last-mentioned outlet line 7 is closed and the valve 6 in the line 5 is open, the chamber 4 is under the pressure of the gas chamber in the storage container. The cumulative effect of the pressure in the chamber 3 and the compression spring 13 counteracts this pressure.
The valve point 11-12 is open as long as the mentioned suction effect on the upper side of the membrane is greater than the pressure: effect on the lower side of the membrane. If the valve is to be opened by hand, the shut-off valve 8 is opened and at the same time the shut-off valve 6 is closed, whereby the pressure in the lower chamber 4 decreases. The valve then opens under the influence of the spring 13 and an event. Pressure in the upper chamber 3.
Instead of the shut-off valve 6, a Dros selstelle, z. B. a local cross-sectional reduction can be provided. The device described can of course only be used if the gas in the chamber 4 is allowed to flow out through the line 7, which is the case with air, for example.
If a spring-loaded diaphragm valve is to open or close at a precisely predetermined pressure, it is necessary that the diaphragm is in the zero position at the moment of opening or closing, since there is no constant elasticity or tension in the Can leave the membrane. Since it is quite difficult to find a valve with the accuracy required for this. manufacture, adjustment means should be provided, which allow a precise adjustment of the distance between the point of attachment of the valve pin on the membrane and your valve seat.
In the embodiment according to FIG. 2, the line 10 with the valve seat 11 is screwed into a pipe socket 15 which is provided with an external thread 14 and which is rigidly attached to the upper wall 16 of the valve housing 1. On the mentioned pipe clip 15, an adjusting nut 17 is screwed up, and between this nut and the outside of the upper, resilient wall 16 of the valve housing, a cup-shaped disc 18 is arranged.
By screwing down the nut 17 on the external thread 14 of the Rohrstut zens 15 so the latter together with the central part of the resilient, upper housing surface 16 is lifted so that the valve seat is accordingly removed from the normal position of the membrane drawn upwards. becomes. This makes it possible to precisely adjust the distance between the valve seat and the normal position of the membrane.
The device described works in the following way: After igniting a burner, which is connected to the reservoir via line 9 and via the diaphragm valve and line 10, it increases the pressure so that the membrane 2 together with the valve pin 12 is pressed down. The fuel is then fed to the burner via the aforementioned connection as required.
If the burner is without fuel the very first time it is ignited, or if there is not enough fuel available to increase the pressure required, the closing lance 8 is opened and at the same time the air supply is throttled by means of the valve 6, whereby the pressure in the lower chamber 4 decreases . The valve then opens under the influence of the spring 13 and a possible pressure in the upper chamber 3, -as it is indicated on page 3 of the description.
When the burner goes out, the pressure drops, which has an effect on chamber 3. The inflow through the line 10 is thereby automatically blocked, since the pressure in the chamber 4 outweighs the sum of the pressure of the spring 13 and the pressure in the chamber 3.
