Die Vorrichtung gemäss der Erfindung bezweckt die Beseitigung dieser Nachteile und kennzeichnet sich durch eine an der Decke zu befestigende Haltedose, in welcher Anschlusskontaktorgane für die Stromzufüh- rungen angeordnet sind, und durch ein in diese Haltedose einhängbares Kupplungs stück, welches Gegenkontaktorgane zum An- sehluss der Enden der zur Lampe führenden Leiterdrähte aufweist;
Device for hanging up ceiling lamps and for connecting to an electrical network. The subject matter of the present invention is a device for hanging up ceiling lamps and for connecting them to an electrical network.
The installation of ceiling lamps required both special hanging organs, z. B. long hook bolts to be screwed into the false floor, as well as be special connection elements for conductive Ver connection of the wires leading to the lamp with the conductor wires of the electrical light power network. This hanging of ceiling lamps and their connection to the electrical network is therefore not only cumbersome, but also relatively difficult and not without risk for laypeople.
The device according to the invention aims to eliminate these disadvantages and is characterized by a holding box to be fastened to the ceiling, in which connection contact organs for the power supply lines are arranged, and by a coupling piece that can be hung into this holding box, which mating contact organs for connection of the Having ends of the conductor wires leading to the lamp;
the whole thing is such that in the hanging position of the coupling piece its mating contact organs are in electrically conductive contact with the connecting contact organs.
In the drawing, an example embodiment of the subject invention is shown. Fig. 1 shows the device attached to a ceiling in a vertical radial section along the line I-1 in Figs. 3 and 4, Fig. 2 shows the coupling piece.
the connected wire ends in plan view, Fig. 3 is a bottom view of the geöff Neten holder box along the line III-III in Fig. 1, Fig. 4 the upper side of the cover plate for the holder box, Fig. 5 shows a partial section of the cover plate along the line VV in FIG. 4, FIG. 6 shows a partial section of the cover plate along the line VI-VI in FIG. 4, FIG. 7 shows an inside,
Be provided with a fastening element edge part of the cover: the holding box intended. Rosette in elevation and FIG. 8 the same in plan.
The holding box 1, which is preferably formed from an electrically insulating plastic, has in its hollow cylindrical wall part on the inside two diametrically opposed, vertical, semicircular grooves in cross-section (Fig. 3), in which a material consisting of electrically insulating, circular plate 3 is guided axially displaceably by means of cams 4 arranged on its edges. Between tween the plate 3 and the bottom 1 'of the holding box three springs 7 are inserted, wel che strive to press the plate 3 down.
The plate 3 is provided with three exclusion contact organs, which are each formed by a screw 5 or 5 'with a rounded, flat head. At these screws 5, 5 'each screwed into a threaded bushing 6 pressed into the plate 3, a wire of the light-current conducting network is firmly clamped.
The holding box 1 is fastened to the ceiling by means of screws 8 guided through its cylindrical wall by drilling and is also advantageously formed from an insulating material. partially covered on screwed plate 9. This cover plate 9 has, as can be seen from FIG. 4, three slits 10 and 10 ', similar to segments of a circle, which run out into a central round opening. The radially directed edges of the slots 10, 10 ′ form ribs 11 and 12 protruding on the inside of the cover plate 9.
In the cover plate 9 of the holding box, according to FIG. 1, a coupling piece 13 made of electrically insulating material hangs, which, as can be seen from FIG. 2, has three radial wings 13 'or 13 ". One of the wings 13' and the wings 13 ″ are each provided with a clamping screw 15, which is formed in the manner of the terminal screw 5 and is fastened in a threaded bushing 16 pressed into the respective wing of the coupling piece 13.
The clamping screws 15 form the mating contact organs to which the ends of the two conductor wires leading to the lamp, which are passed through the bores of the cylindrical, pin-like central part of the coupling piece, are clamped.
The plan shape of the recess of the cover plate 9 formed by the slots 10, 10 'and the central, round opening ge. the plan shape of the coupling piece 13 with its wings 13 ', 13 "adapted, the slot 10' being slightly smaller than the other two slots 10 and the wing 13" is adapted in its outline to the smaller slot 10 '. The coupling piece 13 can therefore only be inserted into the socket through its cover plate 9 in a certain position of its mating contact organs with respect to the connection contact organs. so that z.
B. on the smaller wing -13 "is arranged clamping screw 15 'which forms the connection contact member 5' for the neutral conductor to the ordered mating contact point.
The radial ribs 11 and 12 of different heights described on the inside of the cover plate 9 not only serve to snap the wings 13 ', 13 "into the can through the slots 10, 10' and rotated into the position between two ribs. of the coupling piece, but also to ensure the correct contact rotation position of the same.
Since the stop ribs 12 are higher than the ribs 11 and these last straight are dimensioned only so high that the wings 13 ', 13 "introduced into the can while pushing back the contact plate are just lifted over the ribs 11, so In the example shown, the coupling piece inserted through the cover plate 9 into the holding box can only be rotated to the right, as seen in FIGS. 3 and 4, until each of its wings 13 ', 13 "comes between a rib 11 and 12, whichever the latter are the wings.
After letting go of the coupling piece 13, the same is pressed back by the spring-loaded contact plate 3 with its wings between the stop ribs 11 and 1'_ 'and locked between them in its correct contact position.
The pin-like central part of the coupling piece 13 has an internal thread by means of which the coupling piece can be screwed onto the upper end of a lamp shaft tube provided with a corresponding mating thread. The coupling piece can also have other organs serving for attachment to a lamp body.
To cover the stationary on the ceiling holding box 1 and in order to achieve a pleasing ceiling closure, the device described has a z. B. rosette 17 turned from wood. As organs for attaching this rosette to the holding box 1, two diametrically opposed, vertical and subsequent Horizon talnuten 18 and 19 are arranged on the cylindrical inner edge of the holding box 1 so that two cams arranged on the outside of the holding box 1 accordingly 20 can be brought into engagement like a bayonet lock.
The holding box of the device, which is used both for suspending a Lainpe and for electrical connection of the same, could also be sunk into the ceiling and covered by a different type of rosette or an end plate. The rosette. could also be hung on the coupling piece instead of on the holding box.
The device shown and described has three connection and counter contact organs, so that on the pressed into the con tact plate 3, the third threaded bushing 6 'and on the pressed into the third wing of the coupling piece 13 threaded bushing 16' by means of similar , Serving as contact terminals screws 5 and 75 each one end of a third Leiterdrah TES can be attached, which with. your neutral forms a second, to feed a further incandescent lamp or a group of sol cher serving circuit, these two circuits can be closed by a known switch either individually or together.
The device could, however, also be designed for the connection of more than two electric circuits, that is to say it could have more than three connection and counter contact elements each.
The device described also enables the layman to quickly, inevitably con tact correct and safe fitting and removal of ceiling lamps. Since here.Mie: current- -conducting conductor-wires-front mounting of the lamp are not protruding from the ceiling after their hanging, as before. but are attached to the concealed connection contact organs in the stationary holding box, then involuntary contact with wire ends that are under voltage and the risk of short-circuiting the same is prevented.
