La présente invention a pour objet une sableuse de sécurité pour véhicule, notamment pour automobile, caractérisée par le fait qu'elle comprend un réservoir<B>à</B> sable dont le fond aboutit<B>à</B> un conduit d'évacuation en forme de siphon, une tubulure débouchant dans ce conduit et étant -utilisée pour chasser de l'air dans celui-ci et assurer sa vidange.
Le dessin annexé montre,<B>à</B> titre d'exem ple, une forme d'exécution de la sableuse objet de l'invention.
La fig. <B>1</B> en est une vue en coupe longi tudinale, et la fig. 2 en est une vue en bout.
La sableuse représentée comprend un ré servoir<B>1</B> aboutissant<B>à</B> un conduit d'évacua tion 2 présentant une partie<B>3</B> en forme de siphon; dans le conduit 2<B>à</B> l'entrée du siphon débouche une tubulure 4 d'amenée d'air, ali mentée soit au moyen d'une turbine<B>à</B> air non représentée, soit au moyen d'un réservoir d'air sous pression.
La sableuse -représentée est spécialement destinée<B>à</B> être fixée sur la carrosserie d'une automobile; devant, soit une roue arrière, soit une roue avant, suivant le mode de trac tion de celle-ci.
Le sable contenu dans le réservoir<B>1</B> s'écoule par son propre poids dans le sens de la flèche<B>5</B> et s'immobilise dans la partie<B>6</B> du conduit 2 et ne peut s'écouler au dehors de la sableuse du fait de la forme en siphon de celui-ci. Lorsque l'emploi du sable est nécessaire, l'air sous pression est introduit dans la tubu lure 4 dans<B>le</B> sens. de la flèche<B>16;</B> ledit air entra-me vers la sortie<B>7</B> dans le sens de la flèche<B>8,</B> le sable contenu dans la partie<B>6</B> de l'appareil, qui<B>y</B> arrive au fur et<B>à</B> mesure en passant par le conduit 2 du réservoir<B>1.</B>
Un levier<B>9 à</B> deux branches<B>10</B> et<B>11</B> est monté<B>à</B> pivotement contre l'action d'un res sort<B>13,</B> sur un axe 12 que porte les parois du réservoir<B>1;</B> la branche<B>11</B> est destinée<B>à</B> actionner le poussoir<B>15</B> d'un commutateur électrique<B>17</B> pour allumer une lampe témoin lorsque le réservoir<B>1</B> est vide; en effet, dans ce cas, le sable ne presse plus sur la branche <B>10</B> du levier<B>9,</B> qui peut alors pivoter sous l'action du ressort<B>13,</B> ce dernier prenant appui contre une cloison 14 fixé aux parois <B>du</B> réservoir<B>1.</B>
Il est avantageux de fixer une, sableuse représentée de chaque côté de la carrosserie d'une voiture automobile.
