Snap-in device without spring. The present invention relates to a positive locking device without spring, characterized in that it comprises a single pawl having a locking nose which cooperates with a locking ring, said pawl pivot freely on a tenon independent of said locking crown.
The appended drawing represents, by way of example, an embodiment of the object of the invention.
Fig. 1 is a plan view of the device, the parts occupying, the locking position.
Fig. 2 is a similar view, except that the parts occupy an unlocked position. The device shown comprises a single pawl 1. having a locking nose 2 which cooperates with a locking ring 3. The pawl 1 has the general shape of a triangle, one of the vertices of which constitutes the locking nose 2; it pivots freely isur a tenon 4, adjacent to one of the other vertices of said triangle.
The tenon 4 is fixed on a disc 5 solid with the axis 6. An opening 7 is made in the pawl 1 to allow the axis 6 to pass.
The third vertex, 1.1, of the aforementioned triangle is slightly rounded and serves to bring the locking nose 2 into the correct position according to the direction of rotation of the crown 3, as will be seen later.
The locking ring 3 is constituted by a recessed prison 9 and having internal projections 8. The ring 9 has a base 10 on which the disc 5 rests, its hole being made in the base 10 for the passage of the axis 6.
The operation of the device described is as follows: Let us suppose that the disc 5 remains stationary, and consequently also the tenon 4, and that the crown 3 is rotated counterclockwise (arrow A, fig. 1.). We see in fig. 1 the position that we arrive at. The protrusion 8ca, pressing against the face 2a of the locking nose 2, has rotated the pawl 1 counterclockwise until the tip of the nose 2 abuts against the inner surface of the ring 9.
The rotation of the crown 3 can no longer be continued, because the tip of the nose 2, having to remain at a constant distance from the tenon 4, cannot follow the inner face of the ring 9.
Now let's turn it. crown 3, from the position of fig. 1, in the direction of arrow 13 (fig. 2), that is to say clockwise. The rotation first takes place without further, the tip of the nose 2 following the inner surface of the ring 9; then face 2b of the nose? comes into contact with the projection 8b which turns the pawl 1 clockwise, thus bringing the vertex 1.1 of the triangle between the projections 8d, and 3e. It's here. position shown in fig. 2.
If the movement of the crown 3 is continued, the nose 2 passes in front of the projection 8b, then the incline 12 of the top 11 comes into contact with the projection 8e and turns the pawl 1 counterclockwise. a watch, thus bringing the nose 2 between the projections 8b and 8c. If we continue to rotate the crown 3, the face 2b of the nose 2 abuts against the projection 8c and the cycle begins again. The rotation of the crown 3 can. therefore be done freely in a clockwise direction.
Suppose finally that, starting from the position of FIG. 2, the crown 3 is rotated in the opposite direction to the arrow B. It is then the face 13 of the top 11 which, under the action of the projection 8d, causes the pawl 1 to turn counterclockwise. shows and brings the nose 2 between the projections 8a and 8b. The blocking is then carried out as explained above.
It is possible to turn the pawl 1 on itself by 180. The crown 3 can then be rotated freely in the anti-clockwise direction, while the counter-clockwise rotation is prevented.
In summary, it can be seen that the device described makes it possible to rotate the crown 3 in one direction and thus constitutes a simple and safe operating snap-in device.
