Self-winding timepiece by moving mass. The present invention relates to a timepiece with automatic winding by moving mass. This timepiece is characterized by the fact that the mass shaft is rotatably mounted in a single barrel, driven out through the bridge which supports it.
The appended drawing represents, by way of example, an embodiment of the object of the invention and a variant; only the organs necessary for the understanding of the invention have. been represented.
Fig. 1 is an axial section of the device for mounting a reassembly mass, according to 1-1 of FIG. 2.
Fig. 2 is. a view from below. Fig. 3 is a view from above, and FIG. 4 is. a cut similar to that of. fig. 1 of a variant.
In the first embodiment, 1 de signs the bridge of the automatic winding mechanism, fixed to the finishing bridge designated by 2. A barrel 3 having a shoulder 3a is driven into the bridge 1; a hollow shaft 4, integral with a head 4a, is rotatably mounted in the barrel 3. The head 4a. is riveted to. the plate of the movable mass, designated by 5. The hollow shaft 4 is crossed by a shaft 6 coming in one piece with a head 6a, which is toothed so as to form a control member of the automatic winding device, or a pinion constituting the first mobile of the winding train.
A groove 6b is made at the other end of the shaft 6. This groove is intended to receive a lock constituted by a plate 7 pierced with a hole 8 in the form of a buttonhole. The head 6a and the plate 7 are located on either side of the barrel 3, so as to. hold the mass in place.
The end of the shaft 4 has two projections 4b penetrating into holes 9 made in the pinion 6a, so that this pinion is angularly secured to the mass; it should be noted that a core 10 is made in the face of the pinion 6a located opposite the barrel 3, the end of this barrel penetrating into this core and that a core 18 is made in the bridge 2, the pinion 6a. penetrating into this nucleus. These two no3qires aim. to gain height.
This arrangement, in particular the use of a single barrel, for mounting the mass, is inexpensive; the length of the barrel can easily be sufficient for the mass not to be debated. This arrangement also has the advantage of allowing the repairer to dismantle either everything. the device, by separating the bridge. 1 of bridge 2, i.e. the mass only by removing the lock 7.
In the variant of fi-. 4, the barrel designated by 11, which is driven into deck 1, does not have a shoulder. The mass designated by 12 is integral with a shaft 13, the end of which has a square 14 on which is mounted a pinion 15. The latter is held in place by a screw 16 taking in this shaft. A lantern 17 is made in the shaft 13 and serves as an oiler.
