Device for separating oils and fats from waste water. The present invention relates to a device for separating oils and fats from waste water, with. a Sehacht with an inlet opening for the oil and fetthal term wastewater and an outlet opening for the oil and grease-free wastewater, whereby in front of the sen, close to the upper end of the manhole sensitive openings diving walls are angeord net, which each delimit a channel open at the bottom.
According to the present invention, the baffle in front of the inlet opening is longer than the baffle in front of the outlet opening, and a baffle is arranged in front of the lower end of this last-mentioned baffle, the upper edge of which is higher than the lower edge of the baffle in question.
In the accompanying drawing, an exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is shown, namely: Fig. 1 shows a vertical section through a device for separating oils and fats from wastewater along the line II in Fig. 2 and Fig. 2 is a plan view of the device with the cover and ring removed.
The device shown has a shaft 1 which is round in cross section and which is closed at the bottom by a base 2 and can be closed at the top by means of a ring 3 and a cover 4.
On diametrically opposite sides of the shaft 1 are close to the upper end of the same an inlet pipe 5 for the waste water or a drain pipe G in an inlet opening 7 hzw. a drain opening 8 is used.
Before the inlet opening 8 - seen from the Sehacht - a baffle 9 is introduced. The space enclosed by the baffle 9 is closed at the top by a cover 10. A with respect to the Bo the 2 shorter than the baffle 9 held baffle 11 is in front of the drain opening B. The baffle 11 adjoins the top of the shaft wall and contains the cover 12. Below the baffle 11 is a wall inclined at an angle to the horizontal 13 placed, the upper edge of which is higher than the lower edge of the baffle 11.
On the inner wall of the shaft, as indicated with dash-dotted lines, projections 14 can be attached which serve as supports for channels 15 with a V-shaped cross section. The upper edges of these open-top grooves 15 are at least approximately at the same height as the bottom of the run-off opening B. The grooves 15 - only one can be provided - are used to collect the oil floating on the water in Sehacht.
The wastewater flowing in through the inlet pipe, mixed with 01 and fat, enters the shaft 1 through the inlet opening by. it flows out at the bottom of the baffle 9. Any heavier constituents that may be carried along, such as sand, settle on the bottom of the shaft, while the oil and fat floats on top or is caught in the channels 15. The wastewater freed from oil and fat flows obliquely upward against the wall 13 and over the same flowing under the lower end of the rope wall 11 through into the sewer line 6.
