Fig. 1 zeigt ein erstes Ausführungsbeispiel im Schnitt.
Cutlery for liquids that evaporate easily and that have been used repeatedly in small quantities, e.g. B. Nail polish. Nail varnish, lip varnish and solvents used as varnish remover have so far mostly been stored in bottles, to the stopper or cap of which a brush that is immersed in the bottle is attached. These bottles remain open while the brush is used, so that the volatile components of the bottle contents evaporate; the contents of the bottle gradually dry up.
The invention relates to a cutlery for such easily evaporating and repeatedly used in small amounts liquids, for example nail polish, characterized by at least one united with an application brush, the brush feeding container and a closure that encloses at least the brush gas-tight. The cutlery according to the invention can be designed in such a way that the contents of the container are prevented from drying out even during use. And the cutlery can also be conveniently taken anywhere and stored in a handbag without any special items.
In one embodiment, the brush can be mounted in a holder that closes the container, so that the container can be used as a brush handle, and the closure enclosing the brush in the closed position can be designed, for example, as a screw sleeve. The contents of the container can be removed after removing the brush holder. top up or replace at any time. In another embodiment, the sealing sleeve envelops the brush and almost the entire container in the closed position.
The container can expediently be screwed into the closure sleeve with a thread attached near its lower end, while the seal of the space surrounding the brush is placed, for example, on the upper end of the container.
In one embodiment, an elastic membrane is attached to the bottom of the container, which is to be used as a pusher for filling the brush and is made of a material soluble in acetone and similar solvents, for example a synthetic resin made from condensation products. consists of phenol and formaldehyde .. By pressing this membrane, a small amount of the contents of the container flows out into the brush, so that the brush is always ready to be applied. In one embodiment, the membrane is the bottom of a cap-shaped body which is pressed tightly into the lower end of the container.
The connection of the membrane to the container can thus be produced particularly easily and cheaply. In one embodiment, the membrane forming the container bottom is made of transparent material so that the color of the container contents is visible through the container bottom. Two exemplary embodiments of the cutlery according to the invention are explained in the following description with reference to the drawing.
Fig. 1 shows a first embodiment in section.
Fig. 2 shows a modified detail, Fig. 3 shows the upper part of a different Ausfüh tion, also in section, and Fig. 4 shows a detail in greater enlargement.
In the example according to FIG. 1, a tubular container 1 is provided which has a thread-bearing reinforcement 2 on the outside on its lower part, to which a collar 3 adjoins, which is knurled at 4 on its circumference. Until it rests against a shoulder formed in the collar 3, a cap-shaped body 5 is pressed tightly into the collar.
The bottom 6 of this body, which also forms the bottom of the container 1, is an elastic membrane made of a material that is insoluble in the solvents contained in the container fillings, such as acetone; For example, it is made of nylon and is transparent so that the color of the contents is visible. In the example shown, the body 5 is beveled along the edges 7, so that it is easier to press it into the collar 3.
In other embodiments, instead of the taper 7, on the contrary, a protruding edge and in the inner jacket of the collar 3, for example at 8, a groove can be seen, so that the protruding edge when the body 5 is pressed into the groove and the body 5 holds on securely. This form is particularly feasible when at least the body 5 is made of elastically easily deformable plastic, at its upper end in Fig. 1, the container 1 is closed by the brush holder 2, which can be removed for refilling and whose pipe socket 10 is plug-like into the Container is plugged in.
The outer jacket of the hollow cylinder 10 is slightly convex in the axial direction, as indicated at 11, so that it is easier to press the brush holder into the container and ensure a tight fit. The parts 9, 10 of the brush holder consist of in acetone and similar solvents insoluble Lichem material, for example from the polymerized ethylene that is in the. Commercially available under the Lupolen brand. In the pin selhalter is a channel 12 through which the container content is fed to the brush designated as a whole as 13.
The brush hairs are clamped between two rings 14 and 15 (see FIG. 4), for example aiis light metal, of which the in ring forms the feed channel 12 'for the liquid to be carried. Channel 12 'continues channel 12. and feeds the liquid to be applied to the brush from the inside. The outer jacket 16 of the inner ring 14 is tapered, and the inner surface of the outer ring is designed so that it fits onto the surface 16. In the space 17 between the rings 14 and 15, the brush hairs are held so that they converge to form a point, as in Fier. 1 and 3 is drawn.
The brush hairs holding rings with the brush are pressed as a whole into a cavity 18 of the elastic material ordering brush holder 9 behind the mouth of this Hohlrau mes narrowing collar 19 .. To facilitate the pressing of the outer ring 15 is at its bottom Edge beveled at 20 from. or conically tapered.
In the example of Figure 1 projecting ring edges 21, 22 are attached to the brush holder 9 to achieve a gas-tight seal, which are pressed against a counter surface 23, which is attached in a closure sleeve 24 which encloses the greater part of the container . At its lower end, the closure sleeve has an internal thread 25 into which the reinforcement \ _ 'of the container 1 is screwed. In the upper part of the sleeve 24 in FIG. 1, a space 26 surrounding the brush 13 is recessed, which is sealed against the outside by the contact of the edges 21, 22 on the mating surface 23.
The sleeve? 4 is. For example, a "ia concrete-proof, transparent, in other examples made of translucent plastic, for example nylon, and surrounded by a metal jacket 27 that sits firmly on it, which leaves the end face 28 of the sleeve free. Such a jacket lets you see more easily Produce cheaper than a jacket that also covers the end face, apart from the fact that by leaving the end face 28 free, aesthetic effects can also be achieved.
However, it is also possible to realize embodiments with a jacket that covers the end face 28, as well as embodiments without a metallic jacket.
The example according to FIG. 2 differs from the example described in that on the inner surface of the sleeve 24 corresponding to the surface 23 of the example according to FIG. 1, annular edges 30, 31 are attached, which lie on a counter surface 29 of the brush holder 9. The arrangement according to FIG. 2 thus represents a reversal of the sealing arrangement according to FIG. 1.
Appropriately, the cooperating sealing parts on one of the parts coming together to rest are made of ela stically resilient, on the other part made of hard material, the latter parts forming narrow contact surfaces that press into the opposing surface under high specific surface pressure.
In the embodiment according to FIG. 3, an annular groove 32 is arranged in the brush holder 9, while an annular spring 33 is provided on a S-cliult.er provided on the closure sleeve 24, which is located in the groove when the loading container 1 is screwed into the closure sleeve 24 32 presses in sealing. The tongue and groove arrangement according to FIG. 3 can also be reversed.
The sealing arrangement can be designed in such a way that when it is closed there is a noticeable reduction in size of the space 26 surrounding the brush 13. This is always the case when the sealing parts, for example the edges 21, 22 and the surface 23, are elastically pressed into one another to a significant extent during the closure. This ensures that superfluous residues of the liquid to be applied are pressed back through the channels 12 'and 12 into the container.
The channel 12 'is so narrow that the contents of the container do not flow out even if the cutlery is turned upside down from the position shown in FIG. Because of the tightly inserted body 5 air cannot penetrate from the other end of the container. Enclosed in the space 26, the brush 13, which is still moist from use, always remains soft and moist without drying out. The container contents. is protected against rapid evaporation even if you forget to screw the container into the sealing sleeve after use.
It is also possible to combine several similar containers, for example for different colors or for lip varnish or for solvents (varnish remover), to form a common cutlery according to the drawing or similarly. In embodiments of this type, the individual containers are parallel. It is then reasonable to let the knurled collars 3, 4, which can also be replaced by hexagonal collars, for example, protrude alternately to one side and to the other of the block formed. In other versions, the individual containers are coaxially one behind the other, in still others parallel and coaxially one behind the other.
The combination of several containers to form a comprehensive set of cutlery is made easier if the individual container is encased in a prismatic rather than a cylindrical manner.
