Container for drilled hole impregnation of wood. It is already a provided with a pressure piston and on the bottom with a screw-in nozzle container for drilled hole impregnation of wood is known, which is connected to the pressure chamber, preferably close to the bottom, equipped with a check valve to the supply of the soaking liquid and one on the pressure piston has an acting spring, under whose pressure the liquid is gradually injected through the nozzle into the wood.
(The status of the invention is an improvement of this device, which consists in (let the pressure piston be provided with a piston rod guided out through a container cap, through which the filling and operation of the piston can be monitored.
This piston rod is advantageously used at the same time to fill the container cirucous curry; For this purpose it can consist of a tube that is passed through the piston at the front and with a back valve and a back. Connection for a pressure line is provided.
Thanks to the design of the soaking container according to the invention, it is possible to determine at any time on site whether the individual containers are still full so that they can be refilled if necessary.
Furthermore, from the amount of time in which the piston and thus the filler and sight rod move forward, it can be judged whether the flea has cracks or other damage through which the soaking liquid flows out again, so that a timely check of the effect is possible. On the other hand, if the filler rod remains for a longer period of time, this indicates that a malfunction has occurred, the causes of which must be found and rectified.
The drawing shows a Ausführungsbei game of the invention schematically in axial longitudinal section.
In the bottom of the cylinder 1 sits. the injection nozzle? which is provided with a thread for screwing into the wood to be treated. The liquid space 3 of the cylinder is closed off at the rear by the piston, which consists of the front piston plate 4, the rear piston plate 5 and the slightly outwardly curved sealing ring 6 clamped between these two plates. The front piston plate 4 has holes 7 through which the pressure fluid can reach the piston ring from the inside.
The filling pipe 0 is inserted into a central opening 8 of this plate, which, like a piston rod, passes through the space behind the piston and the container cover 10 and on the outside through a conical plug 11, for example made of rubber, acting as a non-return valve. is completed in a screwed valve housing 12.
The valve housing can be connected by means of a bayonet catch - it could also be a screw connection - to the impregnating liquid line provided by the pressure generator.
The filling pipe 9 is surrounded by the pressure pipe 14, the front end of which is supported against the rear piston plate 5, while a screw nut 15 presses on an external thread of the filling pipe 9 on its rear end.
If wood is to be impregnated, a drill hole is first made at one or more points, which has a maximum possible depth limited by the wood thickness. The Einsehraubdüse is set in this borehole. The hollow cylindrical space from its outlet to the bottom of the borehole is then filled with the impregnation liquid.
After screwing in the nozzle, the pressure line is connected and the impregnating liquid is pressed into the pressure space 3 via the check valve 11 and the filling pipe 9. The piston is pressed against the pressure of the spring 16, which presses on the rear piston plate 5 and is supported at the rear on the container cover 1.0, against the container cover until the filling tube 9 is the length of the usable space of the pressure container - about 15 a - at the rear protrudes. The spring 16 is then tensioned to the pressure required to inject the impregnating liquid into the wood.
The impregnation process is significantly accelerated by this pressure and by the deep drilling channel, which is expediently guided at an angle to the grain direction, so that numerous wood fibers are cut. The impregnation takes place from the inside to the outside in every position of the container. After filling, which only takes a few seconds, the connection is disconnected and the device is left to itself. Depending on the permeability of the wood, the liquid is now pressed more or less slowly into the wood, the filling tube being slowly drawn into the cylinder 1 ge. In this way the watering can be monitored by mere visual inspection.
If the piston moves forward too quickly, this indicates that the soaking liquid is coming out of the wood again somewhere; So you can look for the damaged area and repair the damage. By tightening or Lok core of the nut 15, the pressure tube 14 can be pressed more strongly on the piston or a pressure on the piston can be reduced. This has the consequence that the piston is compressed more or less strongly and the sealing ring 6 is pressed more or less against the cylinder wall.
In this way, the spring action can be slowed down, that is to say the injection pressure can be reduced and the impregnating liquid can be prevented from being pushed through too quickly through damaged areas.
If, on the other hand, the filling pipe remains in the same position for a longer period of time, this indicates that a fault has occurred at some point which must be looked for and rectified.
