Description

Furnier-Fugen-Verleimmaschine.

an ihrem rüek- wärtigen Ende auseinanderklafften.

Veneer joint gluing machine. The invention relates to a veneer-joint gluing machine in which the veneers are provided with glue on the mutually facing edges during their longitudinal movement in the machine and then pressed against each other by pairs of converging rollers. In known machines of this type, the rollers in the conveyor direction are arranged at intervals of about 120 mm and more.

These machines have worked well when a glue that sets very quickly could be used. With less quickly from binding glue, z. B. synthetic resin glue, to whose application one has gone over more and more, because the rapidly setting skin glue is not available in sufficient quantities, but the proven Verleinunasehine failed. It turned out that the veneer sheets, after they had left the Masehine,

   gaped at their back end.

It now turned out that when using synthetic resin glues, better results are achieved if one uses closer spacing rollers in the machine to press the veneer edges together. Accordingly, in the machine according to the invention, at least twelve pairs of rollers are arranged on the running meter.

An exemplary embodiment is to be explained in the following on the basis of the very schematic drawing.

The table of the machine is designated with a. A conveyor chain, not shown here, runs in this table in order to move the veneer strips, also not shown, to be joined by gluing through the machine in the direction of the arrow shown on the right.

The veneers get under the pushing or joining rollers b, which are arranged in pairs on the underside of a beam c, which is expediently height-adjustable, in such a way that they converge in the conveying direction. For the sake of simplicity, only the roles facing the viewer are drawn. The rollers further back are covered.

The distance d of the roller centers from one another in the conveying direction is now such that there are at least twelve pairs of rollers on the running meter. Accordingly, the roller diameters have also been reduced to such an extent that they stand that small gap. allow.
