Handbetätigtes Ventil an Vakuumanlagen.
Manually operated valve on vacuum systems. The valves so far used on vacuum systems are in most cases actuated by threaded spindles plate valves in which the opening and closing speed is not great and which therefore -no fast opening or closing of the. Allow vacuum systems.
The present invention eliminates the mentioned disadvantage and relates to a hand actuated valve on vacuum systems, which enables a previously unknown rapid opening and closing of the same. The valve is in accordance with the invention characterized in that the closure member is connected to a handle via a valve stem displaceably guided in the axial direction and can be pressed against the valve seat with the aid of at least one bayonet thread and is limited in the two end positions by stops.
On the accompanying drawing is an example embodiment of the subject invention is partially in longitudinal section Darge provides.
A valve plate 1 is provided on both sides with sealing plates 2 and 3 made of rubber and sits at one end of a Ven tilschaftes 4, which is guided by a -in the housing part 5 existing hole in -axial Rich device. Parts 1, 2 and 3 form the closure member. Two lip seals 6 which surround the valve stem 4 and are provided with mutually facing lips, the space between which is filled with vacuum oil or vacuum grease, ensure a vacuum-tight closure of the vacuum space from the atmosphere by the lips of the lip seals 6 on the circumference of the stem 4 are present.
At the other end of the valve stem 4 there is a hollow guide cylinder 7 which has a longitudinal slot which is angled at both ends and is designed as a bayonet gear 9. The guide cylinder 7 surrounds the valve stem 4 over part of its length. A bolt 8 attached to the valve housing 13 protrudes into the bayonet passage 9 of the guide cylinder 7, the bayonet passage being designed so that the locking member is axially displaced with the help of a handle 10 and in its end positions by turning the handle 45 to the left or can be secured on the right.
The pressure with which the closing element of the valve is pressed onto the valve seat 12 of the vacuum system in the closed position can be adjusted with the aid of the bolt 8 in order to avoid crushing the sealing plate 2. The bolt 8 is slidable in a slot of the housing 13 and fixedly adjustable by a courage ter 11 that the end positions of the guide cylinder 7 can be varied in the axial direction and thus the closing pressure of the valve by the adjustable means tel 8, 11 changed can be.
The operation of the described valve is as follows: To open the valve, the handle 10 is first rotated 45 to the left and then the same is pulled against itself, which causes the axial displacement of the valve stem 4 and thus the closure element 1, 2, 3 in the opening direction causes the valve to be locked in the open position by further turning 45 in the same direction, so that it cannot be sucked in again by the vacuum. To close the valve, proceed in reverse order.
The total rotation of the handle 10 upon actuation of the valve is accordingly 90. Due to its ring-like design, the position of the handle is visible from far away and shows whether the valve is open or closed. As a result of the vacuum oil or vacuum grease lying around the valve stem 4 between the lip seals 6, when the valve stem 4 is moved longitudinally, it is covered with a thin film of oil or grease. With the valve open, this film would slowly release any trapped gas residues into the vacuum chamber.
To prevent this from happening, the valve plate 1 has the sealing plate 3 arranged on its rear side, which was in the open position of the valve on the seat 14 of the housing 13.
The main advantages of the illustrated valve are that it can be operated very quickly despite its large closing or opening path and that its position is easily recognizable from the outside and that the elastic rubber seal is not limited by excessive contact pressure the attacks can be destroyed.
