freigibt. The invention relates to a plunger valve that has one in the valve housing
has provided guide body with a bore for the valve stem and
is characterized in that said guide body with one or two frustoconical
Support surfaces for sealing rings is provided through which the plunger extends
extending their openings so that the seal between
The plunger and sealing rings only take place along one edge of the hole. The plunger can
at the same time serve as a closure piece in such a way that it can be used to open the valve
is pulled out of the seal and the hole in the housing for the flow
releases.
Thanks to the fact that the seal is along a hole edge
takes place, the plunger seal according to the invention has a minimum friction
much higher sealing ability than the previously known seals of a similar type,
in which the seal takes place along a cylindrical surface. the
The seal according to the invention is therefore particularly suitable for high vacuum valves,
but can also z. B. used for corrosive liquids, vapors and gases
will.
Two exemplary embodiments of the invention are illustrated in the drawing.
Fig. I is a longitudinal section through a valve according to the first embodiment,
and Fig. 2 is a longitudinal section through part of a valve according to the second
Embodiment.
7,
sind beim Ausführungsbeispiel nach Fig. 2 die ein-
ander gegenüberliegenden Stirnseiteii der Stößel-
fiffirung und des Einsatzkörpers 13 so
ausgebildet,
andern Dichtungsscheibe 14.
In Fig. I i is the housing provided with an inlet port 2 and an outlet port 3 in which a stepped bore is provided. In this bore an insert body 5 provided with a longitudinal channel 51 and transverse channels 5b is provided, which has end faces provided with a frustoconical central part against which the centrally perforated sealing washers 6 and 7 are attached to the elastic material, e.g. B. rubber. Inserted into the bore 4 is a plunger guide 8 provided with a pressure flange, sch Sa, which is pressed against the sealing washer 6 by means of a union nut 9 , whereby the sealing washer 7 in turn, through the intermediary of the insert body 5, against the from the gradation of the Boh.- tion 4 formed shoulder 4a is pressed. In the tappet guide 8 , a tappet io is arranged longitudinally displaceable, to which a pin-shaped handle 12 protruding through a longitudinal slot ii in the tappet guide is attached, by means of which the tappet can be moved for the purpose of opening and closing the valve. This shift could be if also done by means of a screw spindle.
In the closed state, the ram protrudes io, the
in better is a little bigger than the disc holes,
through both sealing washers 6 and 7 ,
thereby widening these holes somewhat.
Through this expansion on the one hand and thanks to the
Fact that the middle part of the sealing washers
according to the shape of the end faces of the insert
body 5 also ke, # "elsttinil) fföri-ii # ig, lie
on the other hand, the discs with pressure each, one

is visible. This creates a good seal
of the plunger itself as well as a tight seal between
Reached the inlet and outlet. This valve
is therefore particularly suitable for high vacuum,
but can also z. 13. for 'corrosive liquid
substances, vapors and gases are used.
While in the valve according to Fig. I the cone
butt part of the sealing washer 6 opposite
is directed to that of the sealing washer 7,
