Fig. 2 ist eine Draufsicht.
Flat measuring device.
The object of the present invention is a flat measuring device with a linear measuring graduation along one longitudinal edge, on which device an angular graduation is provided, the 0 beam of which is perpendicular to the longitudinal edge through the zero point of the linear measuring graduation and its 45 beam through a point of the linear measuring graduation whose distance from the zero point is equal to the length of the unit of the linear measurement division multiplied by an integer power of ten.
In the accompanying drawing, an example embodiment of the subject invention is shown.
Fig. 1 shows a cross section of the measuring device, and
Fig. 2 is a plan view.
The measuring device consists of a flat, rectangular rod a, preferably made of transparent material, such as. B. unbreakable glass, which is provided on its upper flat side along one longitudinal edge b with a linea Ren measuring graduation c with a pitch unit of 1 mm and a length of 0 to 150 mm.
Between this linear measuring graduation c and the opposite longitudinal edge (Z of the rod a, an angular degree graduation e from 0 to 45 is also provided on its upper flat side, the 0 ray of which passes through the zero point f of the millimeter graduation c and its 45 ray at right angles to the longitudinal edge b a point s7 of the millimeter graduation c goes, whose distance from the zero point f in the present embodiment is equal to the length of a millimeter multiplied by 102, that is to say 100 mm.
In the case of a measuring device made of opaque material, the zero point f and the intersection point g conveniently fall on the longitudinal edge b, while in a measuring device made of transparent material, the points f and g, as shown in FIG. 2, on a parallel to the longitudinal edge b, in the millimeter division c, so that any wear on the longitudinal edge b has no effect on the reading accuracy.
A slot h is provided in the interior of the surface of the rod in the area of the graduation lines e parallel to the longitudinal edges b and d. All graduation lines e extend from the longitudinal edge d to the slot, the division lines for 0, 5, 10, 15 etc. also being drawn a little further beyond the slot, as FIG. 2 shows, to increase the clarity.
Instead of the slot, small, circular openings in the rod could be arranged in such a way that certain graduation lines each reach one of these openings.
If the device is made of transparent material, the millimeter and angular gradations as well as the straight line b 'can be arranged on the lower flat side of the rod instead of on the upper one, which avoids the possible reading inaccuracies due to the rod thickness.
The measuring device described enables the measurement of lengths in millimeters, the determination of the angle between two straight lines in degrees, the reading of 100 times the tangent value of an angle at the measuring graduation c, the determination of the percentage value of a slope, even at a distance in the case of a transparent device, as well as the transmission a part of these values on the drawing area, with an angular ray to be applied being determined by two points, namely the end point of the relevant graduation line at the slot h and that at the longitudinal edge d.
The further these two points are apart, the more precise the direction of the angular ray to be drawn.
Therefore, the width of the bar between the slot h and the longitudinal edge d is expediently made at least 25 mm.
Any other linear length graduation can be used instead of a millimeter graduation.
